Another CB and a CDM is needed before we can switch to 4 at the back, it’s a due process. First time Tuchel is trying to get players that will suit what he actually want to play, he has been carrying some of the players with this 3 at the back, e.g jorginho(defensive liability) and Sylver(he is old). If we get fofana, he will be pairing with Koulibaly in 4 at the back. Chalobah is not a natural CB, he is just been used as a Cb because of this 3 at the back formation. We only have two natural CB while city and the rest have four.

Let's hope the Maguire deal is completed soon. He's the missing piece here
