Sevilla really played really deep and threw bodies on the line yet they have more possessions and more passes than us. I wonder what will happen if they didn’t play really deep.

Errors forced as a result of high pressing is a tactical move. They were pressed in their half. We had about 14 shots saved by their keeper or blocked. If we didn't slice them open, how did Martial, Rashford, Greenwood get all those 7 shots on target and even the ones off target?

If we didn't play them, did they play us? Or nobody did the playing? What chances did they create?

Blocked shots can't be dismissed. Sevilla played really deep, and threw bodies on the line. They were pressed in their half for a long time. That there weren't any "shot on target" wasn't for lack of trying. I still do wonder how blocked shots are not recorded as on target anyways

Seeing as Ole has been starting Pogba and Fred together recently, we should not expect any new additions to the CM. Matic and Tom will be the substitutes

In the whole of 90 minutes plus extra time, we Limited Sevilla to just 3 shots on target and they scored from 2. I would have said those defenders should be lined up and shot, but if our attackers have scored just 2 out of their 7 shots on target, it wouldn't have mattered that we conceded 2

One also has to consider the age and experience of these forwards- Martial and Rashford. They’re at that moment when they either become super good or they turn into horrible players.

With the right guidance, they should only become better, right? I mean they have done things before so we already know that they have some massive talents.

I once saw Bruno with the ball and Martial and Rashford running to the same position. Bruno ended up passing the ball to the opposite side because there's no way one of them shouldn't be running to that side. It will count as lost possession or something for Bruno but I know that somebody should be running to that position to pick up that pass

My summary though is that apart from Fred, Bruno, and to a lesser extent Greenwood and Pogba every other player messed up.

And Ole can’t escape his share of the blame this time. The mere fact that he sat there watching like Lawrence Akpokona without making any changes until it was too late is enough for him to be scored low in the game.

To be fair I saw Ole animated on the TL when the scoreline was 1s. As far as I'm concerned je should more concern about the game and performance last night than he has done in recent games. He probably just don't have a plan B
