This useless team just keep disgracing England in the champions league. They should have just paired bayern with Leicester and this molestation would have been avoided.

I'm sure right now they would be wishing they played Thursday night football.

.

What do you guys want sef? Earlier the government allowed free floating, people started hoarding their own dollars and still mopping the ones supplied by government to create scarcity that blew the exchange to a record High and taking the price of commodities beyond the prices people can afford not because of the government policy alone but because some people are just greedy, imagine the rising cost of dollars affected garri, epa, palm oil, vegetables etc that are locally produced, now government wants to send these guys out of business using the risks that will protect the citizens from these greedy businessmen, people still don't want to lend their support.
The government is trying to get involved for the sake of the same common man who is critically ill and had managed to raise funds for overseas sickness but couldn't get the dollars until government intervened last week shocked.
What I just want government to do this time around is to kill this business of dollars speculation once and for all now the dollars supply of government is rising.
The other issues you mentioned are fiscal and as we discuss, the 2017 budget has not been passed only projects in the previous budget can be implemented for now.
I'm surprised you understand that there are people ready to buy up all the dollars to create scarcity and you don't still think they could still buy more when the cbn pumps more dollars into the market.

You raised a point about making dollars cheap and accessible to common man that needs medical attention and the likes outside the country. What's stopping cbn from closing down bdc and allowing only banks to sell?

Everyone wants the government to kill this business of dollars speculation but it's common sense to know that this method is outrageous and not carefully thought. They will only end up depleting our reserves.

So 2017 budget has not been passed up till now? Abeg let's tell ourselves truth wahala dey.

Everyone now need attention to live daily and weird is that they will get it from same wacko trolling the internet especially the Nairaland mods who are antagonist to important news or SEUN progress. Fact is 90% of people in the internet are suffering from OCD and they are unaware. After the madness then reality sets in, then regrets of not having a real proposal, then depression, then, well....

Ps: An 11 year old forum has been downgraded to a web where anybody can dump shit and it will be spared with perfume to be sold to members, many who are of age 2-14years old.
Last time I checked Facebook is 11 years old.
I just checked your profile and nothing important or educative about the topics you have posted on nairaland yet you're here complaining.

Apparently, you didn't know or refer to the current price of crude oil.Perhaps if you do,you will know that the joke is on you.Do your simple maths of the current price of crude and Nigeria makes 60% gross earnings on a barrel and if this currently exceeds our daily US dollars demand and still left to save up in our foreign reserves and the money not looted
By the time we realise that this money we are using to defend the naira would have been better served improving our education, health, power and infrastructure sector, it may have cost us another 10 years.

Improve our other sectors and see if naira will not gain. There won't be pressure on dollars by students, patients, those seeking to relocate or whatever.

And if you tell me that money is being pumped into those sectors too then I laugh.

Jones and Rojo has played against tougher teams this season and everyone praised them. In fact we wanted their pairing to continue. So I fail to see your point. He made a mistake that's ok. We didn't lose two points because of that.

We have been getting decisions of late. One reason why I don't get all emotional when decisions don't go our away.

Our play today has been poor. Not playing like a team that sees opportunity to get into the top four and takes it. If we don't win this match convincingly then I can boldly say we will not get into the top four this year.

Nice analysis bro. Like I said this policy will not be sustainable for long. However floating the naira may lead to serious devaluation as it may trade for N1000 against a dollars. We need a new strategy that will keep things in balance.
Do you have any suggestions?

This CBN momentous vigour to address the FX shortfall 'dey sweet my belle'. grin
I knew this was going to happen soon especially as naira began to drop again. The government would be too embarrassed to see they couldn't even keep it up for one week and so pump more $$$ into the system.

But for how long will this continue? How much exactly do we need to fix power and provide mortgage plans for our citizens so we are self dependent and thereby reduce pressure on dollar? This should be the main way this naira-dollar issue is attacked.

The u.s type of attacks were focused on poor conduct and not physical deformities! Or did trump ever say that hilary's vagina was stale and crusty? Or did Hilary ever say that trumps hair looks like a rats anus? We like personalising political attacks in this part of the world!
From what I read, they went private. Attacks were madr on their person, heck even there was a picture of Trump naked or so. Whether they were made by campaign team, party loyals or mischief makers I do not know but the fact remains that Americans that we are advertising can also play in the mud.

You're an idealist, not a realist.

I've just described the way the world works, you're describing to me the way the world should work.

I never said it was right that Nigerians are being killed by their SAn counterparts, I'm only being realistic here.

There's a reason why stereotypes exist.

That's why wherever you are, be good and do your best because you're representing your family, your community, your tribe, your country, your continent and everybody who shares the same skin hue with you.

It's as simple as ABC.
You haven't seen or heard of someone wrongly accused and almost killed by jungle justice?

Do you know how to make scrambled eggs?

Assuming you want to scramble four eggs for breakfast. Then you youved already cracked 3 in the bowl, you crack the fourth one in the bowl and you realise that it was a rotten egg as the odour hits your nose, what will you do?
Assuming you're in a place where robbery occurred and anyone can be a suspect. I imagine you're ok when you get wrongly accused and molested. After all its no fault of the system or people, you only have yourself to blame for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
