When I see articles like this I just smile. Imagine one is asking if PDP still have a future when the future of their country is not guaranteed. When did winning election becomes automatic growth and development. Instead of us to focus our attention on making this country great we're talking of a political party. |

Sile12: United State President George W Bush Address to the Nation, 8:30PM September, 11 2001.
Good evening. Today our fellow citizens, our way of life, our very freedom came under attack in a series of deliberate and deadly terrorist acts. The victims were in airplanes or in their offices: secretaries, business men and women, military and Federal workers, moms and dads, friends and neighbors. Thousands of lives were suddenly ended by evil, despicable acts of terror. The pictures of airplanes flying into buildings, fires burning, huge structures collapsing have filled us with disbelief, terrible sadness, and a quiet, unyielding anger. These acts of mass murder were intended to frighten our Nation into chaos and retreat, but they have failed. Our country is strong.
A great people has been moved to defend a great nation. Terrorist attacks can shake the foundations of our biggest buildings, but they cannot touch the foundation of America. These acts shattered steel, but they cannot dent the steel of American resolve. America was targeted for attack because we're the brightest beacon for freedom and opportunity in the world. And no one will keep that light from shining. Today our Nation saw evil, the very worst of human nature. And we responded with the best of America, with the daring of our rescueworkers, with the caring for strangers and neighbors who came to give blood and help in any way they could.
Immediately following the first attack, I implemented our Government's emergency response plans. Our military is powerful, and it's prepared. Our emergency teams are working in New York City and Washington, DC, to help with local rescue efforts.
Our first priority is to get help to those who have been injured and to take every precaution to protect our citizens at home and around the world from further attacks.
The functions of our Government continue without interruption. Federal agencies in Washington which had to be evacuated today are reopening for essential personnel tonight and will be open for business tomorrow. Our financial institutions remain strong, and the American economy will be open for business as well.
The search is underway for those who are behind these evil acts. I've directed the full resources of our intelligence and law enforcement communities to find those responsible and to bring them to justice. We will make no distinction between the terrorists who committed these acts and those who harbor them. I appreciate so very much the Members of Congress who have joined me in strongly condemning these attacks. And on behalf of the American people, I thank the many world leaders who have called to offer their condolences and assistance.
America and our friends and allies join with all those who want peace and security in the world, and we stand together to win the war against terrorism. Tonight I ask for your prayers for all those who grieve, for the children whose worlds have been shattered, for all whose sense of safety and security has been threatened. And I pray they will be comforted by a power greater than any of us, spoken through the ages in Psalm 23: "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me."
This is a day when all Americans from every walk of life unite in our resolve for justice and peace. America has stood down enemies before, and we will do so this time. None of us will ever forget this day. Yet, we go forward to defend freedom and all that is good and just in our world.
Thank you. Good night, and God bless America.

doctokwus: I agree with most of your points, but I feel that PWC should have reported back to the auditor general that an important corporation as the NPDC wasn't being corporative,to weep them into line.Maybe they did anyway. Am very sure they did. Even if they didn't that report wasn't submitted yesterday so am pretty sure they knew what was in it |
Politics › Re: Probe PWC For Deceiving Nigerians, Hon. Adeola Tells Buhari by eph12(m): 3:05pm On May 03, 2015 |
doctokwus: Yeah. But the point is that PWC was contracted to carry out an audit as attested to by ngozi okonjo iweala. When it was not getting necessary documents, why didnt it cry out or withdraw? What we should ask ourselves with all sincerity is this:had PWC been contracted to carry out a similar assignment in America or an European country and 2 very important corporations refused opening its books, would it not have come out to distance itself from continuing d audit,in order to save its name? But PWC has peculiar standards for operating here, they get contracted for an audit, but ended up doing a review while collecting auditing fees. Who contracted PWC? The Nigerian government right? Do you think they didn't make their displeasure known to the government in the course of the audit? Blame their employers abeg and leave PWC out of this. |

intergral: There is lot of dirty and evil people to be exposed after May 29th... I believe Obama knows that the government has a hand in bokoharam that why they refuse to sell them weapon and offer Nigeria help... BOKOHARAM was only a fraud if not when have the Nigerian army anounced that they've caught one Nigerian among them? Although aimed at distroying and reducing the population of the north using religion as a cover up, they capture town and villages loot them including the banks and properties for their own personal use in chaD... I also believe that had it been the news of this chibok girls broke out mistakenly GEJ would have kept Silent about it just like bunch of other cases of women and girls Kidnap, But to GEJ's biggest surprise his plans didn't work it fail and fail and fail and continue to fail till he lost the election... My biggest wish is to see buhari invest in oil exploration in the North east because Chad have already started enjoying our Desert oil which is more expensive and valuable then he can now call everybody tell them that who so ever wants to leave should go and form their country but my believe is that once oil is confirmed in the North the SS and SW will stick to one Nigeria then the south east can now remove all their crime causing citizens back to their Biafra and do what they like without anybody giving a Bleep!!! Sorry o. Have you eaten today? Don't worry e go better now that change has come |

bfire: The content implies arrears. That's my comprehension and not emotion My dictionary says arrears is money owed and should have been paid earlier. What does yours say? |
Politics › Re: Rochas Okorocha Owing Workers. Pensioners 13 Month Salaries.. by eph12(m): 8:46am On May 03, 2015 |
hamzyluv: thanks for ur level of understanding.. Arrears are bonuses and depends on the increment or downfall of government revenue/allocation of that state on monthly basis. and Nigerian governments don't normally pay it on monthly basis ... so they will accumulate everything and pay on yearly basis for that workers will make use of it to Bette their life... for example , if ur monthly salary is 55,000 right , ur arrears on it should be 700naira ... so government will now pay u after 12months so that u can make good use of it.. thanks Really? Thanks for the clarification. Tho my dictionary tells me that arrears are money owed and should have been paid earlier Not some sort of favour. Even if one considers the meager amount involved na to begin weep. Fact is the government owes money that should have been paid way back so stop defending the government unless you're mandated to do so. |

hamzyluv: I thought u said 13 months salary .... not knowing its arrears u are talking about..... its different bros ....majority of our governors still owning their subjects more than 13month arrears u just mentioned because they normally pay arrears to workers on yearly basis not monthly ..... although is bad attitude on the part of our government, still on still Op just opened it as if its monthly salary... How is it different? Did they not work for it? So you saying their salaries have been paid complete and it's just some bonus shey? |
Politics › Re: Rochas Okorocha Owing Workers. Pensioners 13 Month Salaries.. by eph12(m): 8:09am On May 03, 2015 |
Demainman1: I think the topic should be the 13th month salary. I believe Okorocha is not owing teachers in the state. 13th month is just a bonus. So the OP mistakenly wrote month instead of months and you decided to make it 13th instead of 13. Continu |
