Maybe that's why it's hard for you to spell POLYTECHNIC correctly... SMH

Ezegozie:
It is harder to make firstclass in University than to make Distinction in Politechnics.
Here is my Mathematical Prove.

For University to make first class, you must get atleast 4.5 GPA out of possible 5.
That is 4.5/5

To make distinction in Politechnic, you must get atleast 3.5 GPA out of possible 4.
That is 3.5/4.

HENCE
4-------------3.5 (For Politechnics)

5/4 * 3.5 = 4.375 (Equivalent For University)

CONCLUSION
3.5/4 GPA (politechnic)
is equivalent
To 4.375/5 GPA (University)

But if you get 4.375 in University which is equivalent of 3.5 in politechnic, You will not make first class because what is needed from you is atleast 4.5GPA.

So with this mathematical prove above, I hereby conclude that its harder to make first class in university than to make distinction in Politechnics.

Hope you understand my Prove?
If Nigeria has a sound educational system, you deserve being in school till date even if your mates have graduated over 5 years ago. First of all, you don't know the difference between 'proof' and 'prove'. Secondly, the word 'polytechnic' is spelt wrongly.

How did you graduate from school with all these grammatical blunders?

that's not even all. i attended both. they are not mates at alllll.....
poly students don't read book like uni students. only a dundi will argue that. a 100l uniben engineering student is better than an nd graduate anywhere.
a 200l student is superior to an hnd graduate.
that is why even with hnd, direct entry takes you back to 200l. and with hnd you must do pgd before you can get a masters.
Which poly did you attend please?

This very statement was used to ridicule GEJ, but at last! He has been justified
He is justified may be in the opinion of his supporters like you. According to Wikipedia - "Corruption is a form of dishonest or unethical conduct by a person entrusted with a position of authority, often to acquire personal benefit.[1] Corruption may include many activities including bribery and embezzlement, though it may also involve practices that are legal in many countries.[2] Government, or 'political', corruption occurs when an office-holder or other governmental employee acts in an official capacity for personal gain".

I think you can see the word 'embezzlement' in the definition which could be well regarded as stealing of public fund? Wise up please.

Romance › Re: I Caught My Friend's Girlfriend With Another Man: To Tell Or Not To Tell by Ephemmm: 6:21pm On Mar 22, 2016
martyns303:
I went to visit family members where I used to stay, then decided to quickly say hi to my secondary school friend who stays in the same neighborhood.

On getting to his place he was drinking a mixture of alcohol, we talked about old times and the future. This guy keeps drinking the mixture so I couldn't help but ask him why he's drinking that at afternoon, he told me that a girl is coming to visit him and he "needs to finish work", he went on to tell me of his escapades with this girl, I just laughed and said he won't change.

Just as I was about leaving the girl called him that she is almost at the gate. I was going to leave immediately since his place is a self contain and I don't want it to look awkward that I am leaving because she came. I was right outside his door when the girl walked into the compound, and for a moment I thought my mind was playing tricks on me. This same girl is a girlfriend to a close friend of mine where I live, this girl from what I know is the decent type, my guy's serious date, whenever she is around we would be like ah madam don show.

Thinking about the details and escapeds this my secondary school friend just told me, I couldn't believe she is the same person. Long story short, I don't know how she got my number, she had been calling me, when I refused to talk to her she sent me a message on whatsapp saying she doesn't know why she did what she did, and that she loves her BF what what.

I have been cheated on and thanks to a NL who was able to help me go through that phase, I know how much it hurts and I don't want to be the one to put my friend through same pain. Should I just keep quite and hope he finds out or should I tell him?
Tell your friend but be careful about the approach. If I am in your shoe, I will narrate this instance to him in a proverbial way without mentioning his name nor the name of his girlfriend and seek for his opinion on this matter. From his response, I would be able to ascertain how he will handle this matter in that I will still ask him some further questions.

If you want to use direct approach, make sure you have phone recording of the chat you had with your friend about the sexual escapades he has had with the lady and ensure that you confide in a friend he has a good relationship with too: ladies can deny anything, and she might even lie against you in other to cover herself.

Watch your back.

klbakare:
What you have said is rubbish... Outright rubbish, there are so many trades out there that the government is also doing little to help, if they all decide to infringe on other people's right and kill them when they protest, by now nigeria will be in anarchy.
There are yoruba people who rear sheeps, and their animals have not been going here and there to eat people's farmland. They keep their sheep somewhere and cut fodder for them to eat. Fulani herdsmen are not ready to cultivate fodder for their cattle to eat, hence their perpetual evil activities. And by the way u have failed to answer all the questions i listed before.
Fulani herdsmen are criminals and must be treated as one!
Instead of all these online ranting, why can't you suggest a probable solution to this menace that has been existing long in Nigeria without solution.

Even from the day of Jacob and David, herdsmen moved from one place to another seeking for water and pastures for their sheep and you are here saying Yorubas rear sheep too: when did cow-rearing become the predominant occupation of Yorubas? For your information, when we are talking of herdsmen, we are talking of someone with over 500 cattles to cater for and not a goat or two sheep.

Now tell me, how can someone control over 500 cows at once without infringement in other peoples' farmlands whether intentionally or otherwise. So, government should stop them from moving without providing a permanent area where nobody would be able to cultivate? You don't need to allow your emotion to overcome your common sense.

Wake up please.

I don't have problem with them so far they have boundary. This is the only means through which infringement into someone's farmland can be ascertained.

So this give the fulani the rights to move around with military grade rifleshuh We are talking about AK 47s, kalashnikovs my friend.

Just like the cattle is very important to the fulani so also the crops to the farmer.

Why should fulani destroy the livelihood of other people to keep their ownhuh
You are now getting my point. if the cattle is very important to the Fulanis as the crops to the farmer, the only solution is to avoid contacts between the two parties involved in the menace.

However, Fulanis will also be vindicated to possess arms and ammunitions in as much as they graze in the wilderness, forest, bush etc: apart from the fact that their cattles can be attacked by predators, I have witnessed a situation whereby thieves attacked a herd in the mid-night to take away some cows and sheep.

This was why I maintained that government needs to make haste by providing permanent site so that Fulani's can know their boundaries. To do this, govt cannot just stop their free-range grazing without providing alternatives.

Get it right.

[s]You are a very big FOOL!
So that gives them the right to kill inhabitants of their host community because there's no conducive environment?
Your foolishness cannot be quantified.
[/s]

And what is the solution to this long-lasting occurrence in the history of Nigeria if I may ask? If you have been to North, you would have realized that a man can have 300-500 cattle in his folk: how do you expect him to be able to get total control of these animals while moving from one place to another in search of water and pasture without infringement on other people's land? Remember, these are the shephered who do not mind moving away for about 1000k from their abode all in the search for water and pastures.

This is what always bring about the conflict and trust these people - they are fully armed to teeth not only because of the attack from human being, but the predators who may enter into their flocks anytime and cause great loss to them.

Lastly, please note that my post is meant for those Nigerians with deep mental horizon, and not a miscreants whose reasoning is greatly controlled by impulse.
