ladyF:
they are living above their means. How will you give a landlord 4 months salary? Even in this same Lagos, there are places your will get decent apartments for reasonable price.
"You can't earn 100k a month and be paying rent of 250-300k"

Do they have choice than to live in mainland? House rent for mini-flat in average locations like Oworo, New Garage, Ojota, Obalende, Surulere, Gbagada/Bariga, Ojuelegba etc cannot be less than 300k per annum in Lagos, not to talk of other mini expenses that follows monthly. Unless you are living with your parent, you can't deny your knowledge of this.

ladyF:
1 month salary or at most 10% of your annual income.

You can't earn 100k a month and be paying rent of 250-300k, you have effectively worked one-quarter of the year for your landlord. shocked What about school fees, capital projects, savings, feeding. Wisdom is profitable to direct.

It's LadyF again grin grin grin
Unfortunately, majority of employed graduates living in Lagos has no option than to do this even with less than 100k.

Back to the topic, someone should be able to pay his/her annual house rent with three month salary at worst: my opinion though.

It is crystal clear that if proper policy has been put in place during your administration in GEJ's cabinet, Nigeria won't be suffering from economic collapse all of a sudden.

This is an over-hyped economist who lacks cognitive ability to diversify Nigerian economy nor manage our resources effectively during the period of oil boom is here again.

Nobody is accusing you of not entitle to your opinion, but trying to act like a wolf in sheep's clothing is an height of hypocrisy. You are non-partisan, but all you could do is to point accusing finger on a party while defending a ruling party in such a state.

Once again, you are entitle to your opinion: but only gullible would follow such school of thought.

Your ability to comprehend is below par and should be properly diagnosed.

I said. That if all the cocoa money should be invested in Abeokuta alone it can never transform the brown roof village to a city even if given 1000 years.

Now compare the ideology like you did earlier to the oil states of Nigeria... Will you tell me it won't turn the region to sensible city with the shortest period of time...

I have no interest in ondo or is it osun that is feeding on 55 million a month. What good will come from such interest. I doubt anything good.

You don't have right to blame anyone for your inability...
I know Ibadan expressway media so well and how they brandishes fantasies and wishes.
You only wish you have resources except cocoa. Lol.
You have nothing to offer to Nigeria, nothing.
How has the discovery of oil transformed Abeokuta from brown roof to golden roof if I may ask? It seems you lack deeper mental horizon. Was your region generating to Federal treasure more than SW before the discovery of oil? Deepen your research and you will find out that majority of those countries thriving well now do not depend on oil you have been shouting on.

Besides, Oil does not belong to SE, no wonder you want to achieve Biafra and taking SS oil as trophy. People from SE rely much on other tribes to survive, yet their hatred for others is stinking.

Cocoa is the only thing the Yoruba's can boast of, [s]money made from cocoa couldn't even turn Abeokuta brown roofs village to a city even if given 1,000 years.
[/s]
Oil is fast going as every body is turning to gas...
So let's grow up and tell ourselves who owns the future...

SE especially Anambra, imo has natural gas that can serve till millions years to come if used the way oil is being used now.

And I ask again who owns the future? Or are you still dwelling in your cocoa that even the neighbouring countries are sharing for free.

Lmao. Yorubas has nothing to offer economically even with their cocoa.
And what development has oil brought to the same Abeokuta so far and to Nigeria in general except massive corruption and embezzlement? Majority of infrastructural development in Lagos metropolis were traced to those years and not the period of oil boom.

Only someone like you believe that gas is the only resource available in Nigeria apart from Gas. I don't blame you sha, I blame the government that has relied excessively on oil without thinking of exploiting other opportunities.

Resources available in Ondo state alone can sustain SW if properly managed and exploited get your fact right.

Lies of hypocrisy and propaganda from a parasitic ingrate to divert attention from the very obvious!

It's preposterous the extent a group of confused lots would lie and spread wicked propaganda just to share a mere geographical expression with the same Igbo Nation they have nothing but hatred and envy for. It indeed defies all logics known to humanity!

https://www.nairaland.com/2535543/why-yorubas-afraid-biafra-actualization

https://www.nairaland.com/2839356/kemi-olunloyo-blasts-illiterate-yorubas

https://www.nairaland.com/2668808/opinion-todays-yoruba-youths-too

If you really passed through the four walls of a tertiary institution you would have known that every group of people in the world is entitled to self-determination.

https://www.nairaland.com/2708477/oil-producing-states-nigeria-facts/9

Igbos are not interested in anything Yoruba. Yorubas are free to merge themselves with any group in Nigeria. It's a free world!

Yorubas and their partners in crime cannot dictate for Igbos on how self-determination should be carried out to suit Yorubas interest and narratives when many Yorubas are wallowing in illiteracy, abject poverty and squalor.

A people who are barely existing cannot dictate to another how to live their lives!

https://www.nairaland.com/2769778/osun-state-now-failed-state

https://www.nairaland.com/2125679/yorubas-traitors-dont-care-loss

https://www.nairaland.com/2692549/only-bark-land-wont-dare

If indeed one state in Yorubaland produces oil than the whole of SE, while would miserable bigots like you currently earn a living on pay-per-post basis just to attempt to quench the call for self-determination by Igbos?

https://www.nairaland.com/2967468/yorubas-now-disgrace-awolowos-education

BTW, what kind of deluded people think that bile-filled hatred is their way of displaying love and therefore expect others to appreciate such evil?

If Yoruba elites believe in 'One Nigeria' they wouldn't hustle to have dual passports and sending their children abroad to live and school with our commonwealth.

If 'One Nigeria' apologists like you are willing to risk their life for their country the way the Biafrans are doing now, Nigeria would have been a better place.

I shall reveal your latent fear: the fear of Fulanis plundering your entire land, islamisation, no free crude oil wealth and eventual low economic activities in your land once BFR emerges.

Yorubas desparately want Easterners to remain in this fraudulent union so that they can help them wade off Dan Fodio's descendants whenever they recommence their jihad.

Wake up from your delusion, the 1966 charms of propaganda and lies against Igbos is no longer working. Your once poisonous fangs has lost its potency.

That your Yoruba folks rarely stand for anything should not be an excuse for you to come in the public to castigate Igbos for seeking to have a separate existence. You shouldn't expect Easterners to follow foolish ways of delusion.

Leave Igbos out of your home troubles. Go find yourselves an idea you can live and die for!
[/s]

Summary please? No time to read cock and bull stories.
