francisbiz: I was on land inspection trip today with a friend in Asaba and saw state of the art houses built by civil servants in choice areas; only the roofing tiles alone don build house for you. And we argued then unanimously 'agreed that CORRUPTION IS OUR WAY OF LIFE IN NIGERIA'. When you refuse to be corrupt, then 1. Your children may not go to tertiary institution because you would be waiting for them to meet cut-off mark while students who have lower scores bribe and get admission. We call it 'working' ( Hello, how much you go use get admission for sososo university ? 2. You will draw a beautifull building plan and regional and town planning will say it does not meet standards forever. while they approve substandard mushrooms daily. 3.You will stand on very long cue in the bank waiting for your turn for over an hour while the bank staff attend to people who just came in. Even bank managers are culpable. 4. Your intelligent children will never get into NDA, Govt Schools, Even employment especially in choice spots like CBN, DSS, NNPC, NPA etc. 5. You will pay all the required charges and NEPA will never give you meter 6. You be detained in the police station, for ever just for being a human being 7.You wil wait forever for papers like Sworn Affidavit, drivers license, international passport, certificate of occupancy etc. just because you paid only the official fee 8. You will never win any election in Nigeria
It is endless, it's too bad that CORRUPTION HAS BECOME OUR WAY OF LIFE and everybody is affected directly. Nobody is exempted. Sad but true. |

If the girl has been sick before and has a particular drug she uses at a particular time and you don't give her because you don't know OR she has a particular sickness that has eaten into her and she dies in your house my dear Op you're in soup.no amount of explanation will save you.you'll be tagged a ritualist, you raped her to death you did this OR that. You will look like the bad person remember we don't really do autopsy In this part of the world and police no too get brain to do thorough investigation like in developed countries so leave that child alone o Please leave the OP alone to be a good Samaritan, he is not asking for your consent. Stop discouraging him by bringing up all kinds of negative scenarios, why should an innocent child be left wandering on the streets of Lagos. All these people spewing thrash in my mentions need brain transplant. This guy is a graduate for Christ's sake and there are much more better thing he could do instead of frying whatever the hell that is. .. I know folks like him over here. They put too much hope in their certificate.
"Chairman let's go site together today, work dey and the need more people"
He will say.
"Bro, i for like to go but e get place wey i wan go submit cv"
always submitting cv and going for interview . I have never seen such lazy person.
When you come back from site he will expect you to give him something because he's not working. Many graduates are just lazy.
Here's a guy(a graduate for that matter) that's obviously in his twenties frying something and you expect me to clap for him?
For what exactly? What EXACTLY are you saying? One second, you say you are disappointed he chose to do this job. The next minute you say "I know folks like him over here. They put too much hope in their certificate....always submitting cv and going for interview . I have never seen such lazy person. " |

omonnakoda: I do not think that fully answers the question. Are you saying British nationals cannot be extradited to Nigeria Are you saying for dual nationals the can only be extradited AFTER their Britich citizenship is revoked? I only stated an option which is his British citizenship COULD have been revoked. That does not imply that he can't still be extradited if it wasn't, it all depends on where he committed the crime and what the agreement is between the two countries. Extradition of UK Nationals The UK will, as a matter of policy, extradite its own nationals, providing no bars to extradition apply. Some countries are not permitted to extradite their own nationals, but usually have provisions in place that mean that although they will not extradite their own nationals, they may be prepared to prosecute them. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/extradition-processes-and-review |

Shame awaits you if you don't change your ways Just look at yourself. I mean take a good look at yourself. You've jumped from Point A to Point ZZZ. Both actions wrong. Why do we echo it? To prevent this kind of rubbish next time. People like you are the reason evil strive. You shield the initial evil and project the reactive evil.
Go dust your brain. Those who has no brain like you should know that the reaction they will get tomorrow is being born by the action they are giving to others today and should not come here to seek for our sympathy when it happen. I for one will shoot it point blank where the truth will hurt. Hehehehe, see him o! His true colors have eventually come out. MURDERER. HungerBAD: Good.
But one confusing part of the story, and I want those in the know to help me out here. Is James Ibori not a British Citizen? I am about 98% sure he is,via marriage to his wife who is British by birth and they both lived in England for years as a couple.
So,can the Nigerian Government force the British Government to send Ibori back to Nigeria?considering the fact he is British too? According to the Guardian: The home secretary can revoke the British citizenship of dual nationals and some foreign-born Britons whom she deems to be a national security risk. Since 2010, 28 people have lost their UK citizenship in this way. |
