This is what happens when you have a Finance minister "guessing" what govt income is spent on. That tells you the calibre of people that make up Buhari's economic team.

But for goodness sake, WHERE ARE ALL THE ZOMBIES?!!! You guys can't just go quiet like this now? Or has the inflow stopped coming at your end? undecided Be collecting ten ten kobo to sell the future of your country rather than speaking the truth no matter how hard it is.

Tribalism will not let Nigeria move forward. Inward fighting when you should be facing your politicians and holding them accountable.

Hian, make I hold on first b4 I go bank coz I just matched with another participant wey I go pay now.I fink it can't crash in Nigeria like that coz of the population factor which influence the rapid growth in investment. It can only crashes if people are no more participate and participants were withdrawing their money.......

Anyway, life itself is a risk.
Which investment? That is one of the things people have criticized about MMM, no one knows how the income is generated. Maybe na blood money sef cheesy

The person who suggested the sale of NLNG did not see national stadium surulere,MMIA and others that the govt cannot maintain;abuja national stadium is there which has been taken over by cattle herders, other stadia are there, the refineries that are not working are there, but the sale of only one thing that is still generating good income. Why not he just buy up Nigeria and dump it in his bedroom;bunch of greedy and selfish people!
Exactly.

Dangote is not looking out for his personal interest but the interest of the north. Dangote as a company is a conglomerate owned by powerful Northerners. I think this is a northern agenda to enslave the entire South.
Hmm, you make a point, I never thought of it that way.
I still think he is personally greedy though, despite the wealth he has he still wants more and more. In any case, money never satisfies.

What's wrong with privatization?? We did it with NITEL and NEPA.
So because we've done it in the past, it is okay to do it again? There is a lot wrong with selling a productive National asset to "select" individuals.

id911:
Immediately i saw the interview where Dangote mentioned the sale of Nigeria's stakes in NLNG and JV with IOCs, i new he's the greatest enemy of Nigeria. How can you sell your performing and productive assets? Are you sure these people are ok?

You can sell unproductive assets like refineries and the likes, no problem and Government has no business running airports. They can concession all the airports and seaports and make billions of dollars but why nlng and jv assets? What type of country is this?

And by the way, the country is in recesssion. Why is there no policy shift or statement and drastic measures from the govt like increase in tax for the rich and reducing public spending from recurrent expenditure esp from the ridiculous allowances of elected and appointed officials to help the economy. Do these people really understand the direction of our economic projectile?
Dangote obviously has an ulterior motive in all this, it is his personal interest he is looking out, but their plans will surely not succeed.

Can I know the man's name so that I can forward it to our NCAN Enugu Chapter for checking because am sure it's one of them.

They won't want their wife to go to school and make more money than them. All they want is marry her and tell her "Nkechi this is our spare parts shops, you will be handling Alaba branch while I will be handling idumota branch".
That's so untrue! I remember a family friend had several married women in her MSc class fully sponsored by their husbands who were traders and had minimum education. Let us stop generalising and being biased.

This is so wrong. By my own calculations, subsidy removal should have generated billions of dollars in savings. What happened to that windfall? TSA also must have mopped up trillions of naira. RomanceRe: Girl Says Jesus Fed 5000 People And Didn't Ask Anyone To Off Pant, Guy Replies by ephi123(f): 9:12pm On Sep 24, 2016
Interesting discussion:

- Any girl constantly demanding material stuff from a guy has no self-respect.

- Guys, you are not obliged to give so what's the problem? A guy with self-respect will also not demand a girl to "off pant" in return for a favour. Hold your favours, and hold your self-respect rather than sharing your bodies round for the sake of meat pies you've bought all over the place.

This whole transactional approach to relationships is why a lot of marriages these days don't survive when the chips are down.

Kudos to ikp120, very mature sensible responses. That is the difference having values makes to a person's life.

PoliticsIncrease In Mobile Tariffs: The Nigerian Change Is Everywhere by ephi123(op):
For visitors or those living in the UK, Lebara Mobile has some of the cheapest tariffs for making calls to Nigeria especially when you sign up for the BEST tariff, so I was surprised to receive the text message below:

Due to increase in termination rates by the Nigerian Telecom Regulator, our rates are changing from 26.09.2016
See http://www.lebara.co.uk/prepay/rates

Dear customers, effective 26.09.2016, there will be price changes to calls made to Nigeria , which will be as below. Saver and UK Plus Nigeria Fixed rate is increasing from 1p to 5p & Nigeria Mobile rate is increasing from 9p to 12p. Best Rate for Nigeria Landlines is increasing from 1p to 5p & Nigeria Mobile rate is increasing from 2p to 9p.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
For a mobile provider like Lebara which is usually so competitive in pricing to have hiked their prices to such an extent, I can imagine that the Nigerian Telecom increase was a big one. Yet no one can see what benefit all these increments are having in Nigeria.

My conclusion - the ill wind of change is blowing everywhere, not only Nigerians living in Nigeria are impacted.
