Chai in this 21st century, Nigerians are celebrating railway like it is a trip to the moon, railway that should be a BASIC transport means; when the likes of Britain have the Eurostar London - Paris and are now on HS2 in addition to trains that go across to multiple locations across the whole country here we are jubilating over JUST ONE.

Meanwhile, is there any way to book tickets online / in advance for these trains or it is come to departure station on the day of the trip? It is not just about setting up trains, you need a process to get value from it.

Aburo, you've not still answered the simple question I asked you but busy crying and wailing and cursing.

I repeat, who do you think has a remote chance of defeating PMB in 2019?

Stone?
You should be ashamed of yourself. Should your question be "has a remote chance of defeating PMB in 2019" or when will he wake up to his numerous responsibilities?? Inflation at its highest level but of course you won't care cos your pay check is monthly. Alainironu.

If that satisfies your emotion, hold on to it.

In 2019, just bring out the stone to contest against PMB, shogbo?

Wailers and common sense, no be for this world.
Well the stats are there for you to see, afterall Nairaland is a public forum that cuts across so such a high difference between the two options on the poll says it all.

Zombies unfortunately have not an iota of sense left, most unfortunate. Pele.

Again, tell us who you think has a remote chance of defeating him in 2019?

Difficult to come up with just a name?
From a recent poll, even a stone will defeat him. Can't believe anyone is still defending Buhari with his WOEFUL performance so far. Wonders will truly never cease.

You are very right, ma'am. Apparently, our's is an anti-intellectual society where even the government forecloses meaningful discuss. I feel that the Nigerian Civil War is a rich source of material for cultural diffusion in this country if only the rulers of this nation understand how things work.

Indeed history is repeating itself before our eyes and no one seem to care enough. Whenever I am involved in discussion with Igbos, particularly older folks, I am amazed at how emotional and personal the topic is to them. It is the reverse when I am with old folks of my own family and notice how totally dismissive they are about the whole affair. The war wrought on everybody in different ways and folks in the East bore more of the brunt of it so their emotional attachment is understandable. I am Edo and my own family have totally different emotions about the war. We were invaded by Biafrans and as I am told by our elders, the invaders destroyed farms, looted property, raped women and killed people so there remains strong animosity towards the topic in that regard. It was a war therefore such gory acts will abound on both sides. A fair discussion of the topic is long overdue and we all need some healing and closure.

To the topic of the post, again the poster deliberately muddled a simple story into a bigoted write up to suit his dislike for biafra/IPOB and to stoke ethnic mudslinging. That is a bad thing to do and it is to @Seun's discredit and that of nairaland as a forum to allow such disinformation.
Very well said.

Enough of flimsy excuses from Presidency. Buhari's administration is failing woefully, second year running nothing to show Nigerians.

As a government, once you take over the governance, you automatically take over both assets and liabilities of previous administration.

Stop looking for escape route, having used Jonathan's administration as an excuse but now shifting ground.

Wise up and make things happen.

You need to CHANGE your CHANGE and be goal oriented, stop been vengeful.

No govt in man's history has ever provided jobs for all its citizens. Many of those unemployed today have been jobless before PMB came on board.

There is always a reason for the lazy ones not to engage themselves with productive activities. Continue with the excuses while your mates keep making cool cash.
Of course you will defend this government with your last breath, not a surprise. I wonder how people like you live with your consciences.

FYI, I do not even live in the country but I have heard enough negative news from family, friends and online to know this government has only made peoples' lives worse. But of course, as long as it pays your bills, you do not mind. Cool cash with no peace of mind. Continue. It is surely a matter of time. You all can open as many accounts as possible to continue defending this deaf government, it can only work in the short term, in the long run posterity will be the judge. Disgraceful sycophants

Good development. Obviously bad news for dem dem.

To all those of you who have made it a habit to rant and lament online about the state of the nation, I advise you do something worthwhile with your life. Wait for no government to come solve your problems for you. This is the time to think deep and come up with something of value to your immediate society.

Look around you and you'll see that plenty opportunities abound.

Many of you wailing online waiting for govt jobs that are not there can do something with your life:
1. Laundry business requires very small capital.
2. Waste management service doesn't need hundreds of thousand to start.
3. Private lessons for your hood children
4. House cleaning services
5. Game centre, etc, etc.

Don't be lazy, get something doing!
Yes they definitely should wait for no government because this government has very obviously failed so now citizens should stop expecting anything positive.

By the way, is it not when people are in jobs they will be able to afford laundry and lesson money? Rising unemployment level and cost of living. Game Center without electricity? Laundry as well, even if you manually wash will you use local method to iron? Very convenient giving these "suggestions" that can only work in a FUNCTIONAL economy.

It is true that N100m was given to my party to endorse and work for (former President Goodluck Jonathan’s candidature in the 2015 election.

Truly, there is money in politics, no wonder it is a do or die affair.
Imagine 100 MILLION NAIRA just to "endorse and work for Jonathan's candidature" --- Jonathan is a BIG TIME failure honestly. Money that could have been used to make citizens' lives better was spent on campaigning. I can bet Buhari spent a similar amount as well on campaign. African leaders have a really really big problem.
