VULCAN: @aaronson. It is you that is displaying ignorance for all to behold. Same Sex legislation ALWAYS carries penalties against straight people who refuse to provide services to gays.
Pastors are being arrested for refusing to wed gays. Bakers are being fined heavily for refusing to bake cake for gay wedding. That is manifestation of official intolerance.
Freedom of speech, association and religion is being destroyed by gay rights groups world over. In US if your an actor and you say you don't like Homosexuality, your career is over. That is not right.
If they have a right to exist, we that detest it have a right to air our own views. That is only fair.
After Islamic fundamentalists, gay rights campaigners are the most intolerant group in the world. If you don't agree with them you must be hounded out of your job or your business.
The silly guy who posted earlier about live and let live is sympathetic to them. Most likely he has a loved one who is gay but he doesn't wanna tell us. So very true. I remember the case of a Christian couple in the UK who refused to bake a cake for a gay couple; they were actually fined. US should please paddle their canoe abeg, it is NOT by force. We refuse to let our culture integrate this kind of anomaly biko. |

HungerBAD: The first time i saw two men kissing was in London, specifically at the St James's Park on a cool summer day many years ago. I still remember the shock and revulsion i felt.
I stood transfixed, staring at them for about 5 Minutes and was just turning my head around like AM I THE ONLY ONE SEEING this, and then it hit me, i was no longer in Africa and even if i had been living in the US, i was yet to see two men kiss. It was a cultural shock for me to see two men make out.
I hated gays.
Then one day in Church, at a bible study. Somebody asked the pastor that if the Church preaches a lot of things about repentance and acceptance, why then do they still find it hard to accept gays?the pastor's reply was an eye opener.
And then it hit me. Why do i exactly hate gays?they don't bother me, they sleep with each other, they marry each other, they pay their own bills,i don't even know them.
As i grow older, i have learned to be very tolerant of others. I have also learned to mind my business with how others handle their lives, that is why i do not judge married women/men when they cheat in their marriages, i am not in their marriage so don't know what lead to the infidelity.
While i do have my personal reservation about the gay thing, i have come to accept the fact that my feelings will not stop people from being gays, or stop them from loving each other. i have also come to accept the fact that no matter what, there will be others that will have sexual orientation that is different from mine.
In Nigeria, there have been instances where men have been caught making love to goats and chickens. Nairaland even carried some of those pictures.
So what am i saying?people should let other people live their lives the way they deem it fit. what you cannot correct, leave alone. The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing. |

Regardless of whether it is a billion naira or citizenship for all the countries of the world, none of those things will mean anything the moment a person is 6 ft under (which by the way no one has any control over). Chocolat Royal is back in business after NAFDAC (Nigerian Food and Drug Administration and Control) shut down the store in May for its expired goods (some over 11 years) and shoddy health practices. Cool FM is one of its sister companies and out of solidarity its OAPs – DJ Xclusive, Lolo 1, Freeze, Do2dtun all posted new campaign fliers or photos of them at the store. They have also used the official Cool FM Instagram account to post videos and photos of the store, and commenters, as expected, have mixed reactions, mostly negative. The ones ‘calling out’ Chocolat Royal are getting sarcastic responses from who appears to be one of the members of the Moussalli family – Saada Elias Moussalli – @saada_et, who owns Nigeria Info FM, Wazobia FM, Cool FM, Chocolat Royal, etc. Saada has written, “You are all ignorant Nigeria is not made on news papers” and “So expired food for 20 years and nobody get sick so this is fantastic we all should go for expired food haha”Source: http://www.bellanaija.com/2015/07/01/chocolat-royal-is-back-after-nafdac-raid-amidst-drama-the-owner-claps-back-at-fans-on-social-media-cool-fm-oaps-endorse-it/CC lalasticlala & INTROVERT (lol!)
