Neduzze5: It takes three months only.
And needs a lot of water. So you can plant February, harvest between April/May, then replant May and harvest July/August.
On the other hand, you can prepare three to four different plots of land, plant each plot per month starting from April. This is to ensure that the plants are directly watered by rain fall thereby saving you the stress of watering them daily. Okay, thank you for the response. Wish you the very best with it. |

tete7000: I don't think his birth was disputed, only announced through a traditional means. What I disagree with Oni's case is that his death is being denied. Do you believe he is still alive? To be honest, I don't know whether he is alive or not. My post was referring to those saying tradition is irrelevant in announcing the death formally (if indeed he is dead). |

Each country has its traditions and is free to continue if they wish too.
When Prince William's son, George, was born in 2013 - the customary formal bulletin announcing the royal birth was displayed on an easel outside Buckingham Palace even though obviously the news had broken on twitter and other social media. |

Do not preach to me, I am not interested in theories of heaven and hell. Morality is a personal goal. Sorry oh oga, so we should be groveling at your feet because you are "more traveled" what a joke. Nigerians and this "who I am" mentality. Big joke. |

Atlantian: Guy, even today. A girl is asking to come and work for me. It is just one of the many pecks that comes from being an employer of labour. We do not compel them. Girls prefer to be with a leader who can provide them comfort and financial security. Will they rather sleep with men that cant afford to buy them official car and driver and leave someone who does that as official responsibility and still pays salaries plus other 'incentives' ? It is obvious it is in Nigeria that people develop this kind of mentality. Try working in a professional environment in a sane country where no matter how senior you are e.g. the CEO you can not harass a cleaner and get away with it, then you would have a rethink on what you've been writing all day. Nigerian mentality, chai! No wonder the country is what it is --- when people can proudly brag about things they should be ashamed of. |

I can see from your previous threads that you have done a number of applications, so my encouragement to you would be to hang in there. Jobs/Vacancies › Re: A Painful Lesson I Learnt From An Access Bank Interview For A Marketing Job by ephi123(f): 12:46pm On Jul 28, 2015 |
TruthisOut: You should not have told the interviewer that you have no banking or marketing experience even if you don't, besides that I think your answers can pass. He was just giving you a hard time.
Just be hopeful and keep searching too. Agreed but the nervousness a lot of people experience during interviews can make one say what in hindsight one wouldn't have said. We've all been there, the number of times i have come out of meetings thinking "I shouldn't have said xyz".. It's all a part of learning and growth. The deed is done, and he should move on. Something better will come up. |

freecocoa: It's not just the grace of any God. Are you telling people to not prepare and hope on the so called grace or what?
OP, do not despair, keep looking, you'll get there. I think he is saying it's not by preparation ONLY, which I fully agree. You can prepare for all eventualities but it doesn't guarantee anything because afterall you are not a mind-reader and cannot tell exactly what questions the interviewer would ask. |

hary4luv: Isn't it funny how people try to justify their mischievous acts of sexual molestation by making it look like it's the norm in the society. My boss looks very responsible, infact when u interact with him u will never expect such 4rm his person. If I had known he was capable of doing such I doubt if I would have had the courage to open the door in the first place. One thing you should note is that my Boss doesn't own our company cos it's a MNC but he can recommend for my sack that's my only fear. You see them all acting self-righteous in other threads, however it is from comments on threads like these that people show their true colours and what they would do if they have the opportunity to do so - i.e. they would also sexually harass their secretaries. Meanwhile Sundays, they are the first to leave for church yet we wonder why the nation is not progressing. Bunch of hypocrites, that's what most Nigerians are sadly. |

The moral state of this country, I shake my head (vigorously)
I don't understand why everyone is trying to blame the OP here - he has clearly stated that the boss doesn't appear to be that sort of person, if it was a randy boss he would have put two and two together and not bothered, but that was not the case here. In my opinion, there was absolutely nothing wrong with him checking out the noise (for safety reasons).
Hary4luv, You did nothing wrong and have no reason to be fearful or afraid. You are not going to lose your job. Just do your normal work and put in your best, with time the awkwardness will ease out. If it was a Nigerian / one-man company then yes he may have fired you but I know MNCs have processes, but above all, do not fear, nothing will happen to you.
Lastly, I would advice you to remove your profile picture for now. It's a small world and you never can tell who knows you here. |
