The doctors, all British and Caucasian, are two males and one female, according to our highly placed source at the Presidency.

Very shameless leaders. What happened to Nigerian doctors? Mschew

PoliticsRe: Nigeria Should Be Shut Down Until Buhari Resigns – Adegboruwa by ephi123(f): 10:33am On May 05, 2017
madjam:
Legal practitioner, Ebun-olu Adegboruwa, has called for shut down of all sectors in Nigeria pending the time President Muhammadu Buhari resigns.

Adegboruwa said this in a statement on Friday titled ‘Let us paralyse the system’.

He warned that the country may go through another ‘Yar’Adua experience’ judging by happenings in recent months.

He said it was now clear that a cabal was holding Nigeria to ransom and treating Buhari like a personal property.

“I hereby call upon all the good people of Nigeria across the land to rise up to challenge the cabal that is holding Nigeria to ransom, in the face of the apparent incapacity of the President to direct the affairs of Nigeria, on account of his ill health,” Adegboruwa noted.

“Let the National Assembly be shut down. Let all the courts be closed down. Let all the banks be locked up. Let all offices be closed, especially public offices. Let all schools, markets, hospitals and all such institutions, be shut down completely. Let them be TOTAL PARALYSIS.

“Let all official activities be suspended, until such a time that the President agrees to resign, and until the President disengages himself and his cabal from governance, in order to allow our nation Nigeria, move forward.

“We have travelled this route before and we are not prepared to go through the Yar’adua experience again.

“This is an urgent patriotic call upon all Nigerians to ACT NOW”, he added.
I personally don't think any cabal is holding Buhari to ransom. He is not a toddler, he himself WANTS to hold on to power by all means possible.

However, Nigeria is bigger than any individual. An incapacitated person cannot lead a country of 170+ million. Eod.

When they do not buy made in Nigeria products, how can they use Nigeria hospitals or her doctors?
That's the hypocrisy of Nigerian leaders.

How can you be leading a country whose goods/services you don't believe in? Does that make sense? Their kids don't go to Nigerian schools. They themselves don't use Nigerian services. Yet they want to be appointed leaders and benefit from bogus allowances and salaries.

Nigerian politicians are a huge disgrace starting from Buhari whose kids all schooled in the UK, plus he flying to the UK for medical tourism (which during campaign he said will be banned for govt officials).

It takes about 4,000 different parts to produce a single car. These products are produced and sourced from various countries and delivered to the vehicle plants.

You probably have never run a business in Nigeria and you are ignorant of the enormous challenges in the areas of power, multiple taxation and corruption. All you want is for them to construct factories here so that you can carry headpan and see money to eat.

Let the government fix electricity alone and see how Nigerians would be able to power their businesses and employ more people. SMEs account for 70% of businesses in Nigeria. If they have stable electricity, the opportunities are limitless.
I totally agree with this.

BTW they have constant electricity and running water in their big cities in Zimbabwe. I visited a friend in Kewkwe recently (Kwekwe is to Zimbabwe what a city like Ado-Ekiti is to Nigeria), and for my 3 days there, the light did not blink. I also did not see a single generator.

Might want to chew on that before you laugh at Mugabe.

Nigeria is a lot worse than many of you realise.
Unfortunately, a lot of Nigerians have become so used to suffering, they see it as normal.

Lots of self-deceit going on with some people.

Actively in control? I never knew people could flat out lie like this. Hehehe.
Sabotaging the current president? The person who has sabotaged himself finish, what exactly is left to sabotage in this current govt?
Government is still running? Smh. I wouldn't even know where to start if I decide to address this last point. Self deceit, thank goodness, is applicable only to an individual and not the rest of the country.

Why do people like you seem overly eager to have him out even when he is actively in control? An unwise position to hold.

on the other hand they want to be president on another, they want to sabotage the current president.

The president is taking things easy and government is still running, so what exactly are you yapping about.

Asked why he has not consulted her family to intervene, he says Mercy has no regard for her parents, citing an example of last year when her dad collapsed while on the queue to get his pension and was rushed to the hosipital. When the actress was informed, Larry said she lied that she was in Calabar and till now, had not gone to see the old man. He claimed that he was the one that went there and spent about N180,000, adding that because she refused to take care of her mom, he put the old woman on a salary of N25, 000 per month.
And yet she is slaying on Instagram. Shame.
