SmartMugu: The Oba of Lagos must he's addressing his palace puppets for cooking up this type of lie. He could have just said he was high.
An Ibo king sitting next to same man was mature with how he greeted a Yoruba king, a weird tiny Yoruba king is now lieing that it's his culture to greet a higher Yoruba king that way because of his culture. What silly culture does he have that a bigger king from his tribe doesn't know? What nonsense culture will make you forget what courtesy means?
It doesn't even have to be a king, several Nigerian boys would have slapped him first for treating them that way before asking him what part of town he's the king of. Who send you? Everybody is the king of his own corner, boys no send all of una again o.
Just say you've been high all day and that's why you needed the dark shades like a welder. Immature liar. Him forehead like wetin we need catapult for.

He said Oba Akiolu’s response to Ooni is the culturally acclaimed way of greeting by a monarch in Lagos.
He added that the Lagos King is basically trying to revive the culture and tradition of ancient Lagos which is peculiar to the State. lmaooo, how can people tell such bare-faced lies like these? |

The North cannot seem to leave power alone. Despite the fact that history has shown again and again that they only specialize in milking the country dry.
They have no capability to move the country forward. The current state of their entire region wallowing in poverty, alms begging and illiteracy tells the whole story. People who can't move just one region forward cannot move a whole nation forward.

willibounce1: So these ones don't have any plans to do something useful with their lives other than begging. Begging is now a profession. They have flooded almost everywhere in Lagos and the Lagos State govt isn't concerned. They are exporting their begging profession from the north to other states. When we tell them to do family planning, they refuse. They give birth to children like dogs and don't have money to take care of them. Nonsense. I'm sure they begged for the ram they are using for sacrifice. |

I know something was cooking The west have always favoured the north in Nigeria because they know they can always take us back economically and otherwise..so that Nigeria will be perpetually dependent on the "developed' west....
There was a gang up alright But truth be told Jonathan was not a presidential material He had the opportunity to write his name in Gold and uplift Nigeria but we know how it all ended
Now we are stuck with an old vindictive Buhari who is not shy to call his citizens 5% and making it clear they should not expect the same treatment as those that voted him.. I mean what a president Worse is he now a vegetable and Nigerian have been taken over by a cabal better known as the presidency... Nigeria is doomed You have said it all. |

FunkyMetahuman: I have never seen any nigerian newspapers ( though they are very very awful) use convict for accused or suspect, if you have example please point it out. May be you meant blogs, i don't get news from blogs.
Same reason they didn't use interpol to bundle obanikoro I guess until his money were seized by american government. May be we should beg uk government to do the same (which I doubt they will)
Yeah, that's why I'm yet to fully believe in this fight against corruption. Jonathan must be jailed. There shouldn't be sacred cows. How can every corruption case has a link with jonathan and he is still walking around acting like he is something. On that, we are very much on the same page. So yes, let's see what EFCC's scorecard will be after 4 years, then we will know if they are truly fighting the corruption they claim they are fighting. Until then. |

FunkyMetahuman: one accused pleaded not guilty and the other pleaded guilty and got convicted. They don't use convict for someone who is yet to be convicted. Plus efcc has got so many conviction but you don't know about them cos nairaland frontpage is probably your only source of news. News like that won't make frontpage or get your attention because you are partisan.
Deziani won't dare come to nigeria. That's why she has been forming different sickness in uk. Let her come to nigeria now.
My only problem so far is why buhari yet to go after the biggest thief of them all (jonathan), if he is truly fighting corruption. Nigerian newspapers are not exactly the best in using the right terms. A "convict" should not still be coming to court to plead guilty or not guilty. Nairaland might be your only source of news, it's not mine, so keep your assumptions. Why do they have to wait for Diezani to come to nigeria? Shouldn't EFCC have and use its links to bodies like the Interpol? Yep, why is Mr Integrity yet to go after Jonathan who is right in the country? Why? |
