Hungry mofos. Wonder how much they collected, 10k tops.
You are standing with Buhari. Buhari is chilling in London, constant electricity, good healthcare (so te he is waiting for test result), cheap food. But what do these ones have? Unequipped health centers, generator noise provided they can afford to fill it with diesel, bad roads and so on.
Continue standing. |

Let see how the teacher go fail am. Stupid nationalist and leaders.... Not even one to be called a hero @ Omudia11, I agree with him. That's true! She sacrificed her life and took practical steps to protect so many others from dying. Our politicians do not qualify in any way to be called heroes. |

mrvitalis: Stop protesting for symptoms... Protest for the real real reason the symptoms show...
.. We need to understand what recession is and how we got here and and how we can get out....
My idea is simple until government revenue is above 30 trillion per day (and mostly through tax) we won't be able to develop....
I hear governors collecting billions as security votes u don't care because the money is not from ur pocket....
We need to tax more.. Its not fair 10% of people own 90% of our wealth... And the only way to redistribute this is through taxing Not true. Even if they collect 100 trillion per day. If there are no sound structures and systems in place, that money will be looted and go into private pockets as is currently the case. Money is not Nigeria's problem, its distribution is. |

jojotemitopaz: This only fruit this protest would bare is violence...it cant force anyone to do anything better...if we really want things better...the same enery used in gaining momentum for protest could be used to practically solve our internal problems...we always expect Government to provide jobs but we are too lazy to see thru how we can communually create one. If this movement is able to independently solve problems without much or no influence from the Government...then u can force them to make changes because by then we would have been well equiped. Now the best we can do is make more noise that can at best create bigger divisions and ultimately more violence This has nothing to do with being lazy. There are BASIC amenities that NEED to be provided by the government for a society to function well and make economic progress. People have loads of ideas, the environment is what frustrates them. The protest must go on. Eod. |

Myself2: I see Buhari's recession has greatly ravaged your brain and robbed you of the capacity to reason well. Do you realize that Buhari, being the president of Nigeria has ceased to be a private citizen In civilized societies where the leaders are not hypocritical like Buhari and where the aides of the president are honest, when the president is sick, they tell the whole nation and her citizens whatever is wrong with their president.I ask you @Hungerbad and other zombies like you "what exactly is the sickness plaguing our president Mohamadu Buhari ?? You see, even a zombie like you does not know. So stop dodging the real issue of what is plaguing Buhari, stop looking for imaginary persons you say are wishing him dead as if it was someone that wished him to become sick.He is not super human,he is a mere mortal like every other Nigerian,it's only zombies like you and deceptive hypocrites like the president and his handlers that fail to realize this hence they keep shrouding his health condition in unecessary secrecy Well said. Feraz: I find it distasteful that you will accuse the Igbos of wishing death on the president. Wasn't it said that the death rumours emanated from the camps of the same party you support?
Of course, peddling hate will get us nowhere but I hope you said the same pre-election? I hope you said the same when different armless IPOBs and Shiites were murdered by security operatives?
But whatever to make the "Igbos" the scapegoat for y'all is alright as it seems to bring joy to you.
Edit: a link that showed a pastor wishing death on Jonathan. . .https://www.nairaland.com/843171/bakare-prophesies-jonathan-die-power
So many hypocritical posts in this thread then even a well-known hater who never wished the former and his family well. I recall when some people were warning on NL about this politics of hate and the disrespect of the office of the president during Yar'Adua regime down to Jonathan's and how it will become uncontrollable in latter years but was rebuffed by many NLers. Hypocrites they are. . . He's just a typical hypocrite sharing his hypocritical views all over the place. |

HungerBAD: Irrelevant people.
It is only in Nigeria, uneducated celebrities think they are relevant in the Governance of a Country. The business of running a Country is not a Comedy Show,or singing you are my African Queen.
This is exactly one of the reasons Trump won in the US. Because Hollywood ganged up against him,and thought they could use their star power to influence the election.
You entertainers should stick to entertaining, and let serious minded people worry about Nigeria. Are they not Nigerians? Are they not living under the same conditions as other Nigerians? So they should "stick to entertaining" because "serious minded" people like you said so. Very sensible indeed. You claim they are uneducated celebrities but you who is supposedly educated is in full support of an uneducated president. The joke really is on you. |

Revolution and protesting are two different words. Protest usually starts a revolution, but don't get it twisted they are very two different things.
Now tell me, which history has protesting alone ever changed anything? Two different words indeed. In any case, I've made my point --> Protests can be and have been agents of social and political change. |

FunkyMetahuman: you are not getting it. Government will always win, and protesting has never changed anything than change people's support for the government.
Occupy Nigeria protest didn't stop GEJ from increasing the pump price did it? It only made people started hating GEJ. After all, your Gej had almost the support Buhari had 2011.
Things appeared to be worse under GEJ, though not as worse, if you consider the inflation rate. but some of you still clamouring for that GEJ to come back now.
I'm not anti protesting, I just don't think I'm ready to protest for pdp or get used by any power seeking political party again. This has taught me that in 2019, I will look well before I vote and not carry placards for pdp to come back and continue their looting spree. Big lie. Tell that to Emmeline Pankhurst and the suffragette movement that ensured women can now vote during elections. Tell that to MLK and Black Americans who can now hold the highest office in the US. Tell that to South Africans who now have their country back. If protesting never changed anything the govt and its cohorts would not be making threats left right and centre. |
