I have no problem meeting folks from NL. LiteratureRe: Did you Know and Great Inspirational Quotes by Epi(op): 2:22pm On Mar 03, 2009
Did you know. . .

. . .that today 1999 Former White House intern Monica Lewinsky appears on national television to explain her affair with President Bill Clinton

1954, 3 March
Colonial government in Kenya begins negotiations with Mau Mau leaders.

1995, 3 March
US Marines kill several gunmen in Mogadishu whilst supporting the pullout of UN peacekeepers from Somalia.

1966, 3 March
Guinean President Ahmed Sékou Touré offers asylum to Kwame Nkrumah, following Nkrumah's ousting as premier of Ghana on 24 February 1966. Nkrumah becomes co-president of Guinea. There is some debate whether this was purely an honorary title - Touré threatened to restore Nkrumah as president of Ghana by force.

Today's Inspirational Quote:

"I'd rather be a could-be if I cannot be an are; because a
could-be is a maybe who is reaching for a star. I'd rather be
a has-been than a might-have-been, by far; for a might-
have-been has never been, but a has was once an are."

tpia:
the "Jewish" Jesus doesnt look Jewish at all.

the third one could maybe pass for Jewish sometimes, but still a comma.
Tpia, thanks for the laugh.

I haven’t laughed so much in a long time.  Actually, this is the first time I have laughed for 5 minutes non stop.  Trust me, you should do Stand-Up comedy. A response like this will definitely give Cedric the Entertainer a run for his money. grin grin grin Ahe, Ahe, Ahe Wahahahahaha grin grin grin

Seriously, do we know what Jesus really looked like? The only thing we know is that He was Jewish. (Keep in mind all Jews are not blue-eyes, blond hair) I guess back then folks were interested in His messages rather than His looks – hence no paintings/sketches of Him undecided

It just seems that majority of them have problems with their marriages. Could be that they are chosing the wrong men. . . could also be that they have become too independent for the kind of commitment that is required to make for a long lasting marriage. . . could be any reason at all.

Just my observation
Hmm, I thought it was the other way around. more men (caribbean) complain about their wives who came straight from their parents home - “She can’t do anything to help herself, can’t cook, can’t keep the house clean, and dirty dishes in the sink.  Why?  Their moms were doing everything for them while they were living at home.  I guess every culture is different

In fact there is a Caribbean folklore song based on these girls.  It’s tells the story of an inept but pretty girl - She not good at cooking or as we say, she can't boil water

Pack She Back to She Ma

A Pretty Little girl like ,  . . (add her name)
She lazy from since she born
She hands full of rings
And she can’t do a thing
Pack she back to she ma

Pack she back to she mama
Pack she back to she pa
She hands full of rings
And she can’t do a thing
Pack she back to she ma

*Pic* fifth graders singing Pack she back to she ma.  The one behind the girl in the pink sounded the best. grin

Seriously, what's the difference between a boy's underwear and ladies panties?

Women wash men underpants with “tyre tracks” (shit stains) in the bottom (men not wiping their asses properly), so I see nothing wrong with a man washing a woman panty with his hands

From what I have seen in life, I'd advise a man to marry a girl who lives with her parents rather than a girl who has learnt to live alone.
there's just something that seems to happen to a woman who has lived alone for sometime. lipsrsealed
