Reading up to the point where the OP wrote "The first thing at this stage of your life is God", then, s/he wrecked what seems an excellent piece of advice. In sane climes, you don't need God to get by in life. This is why Nigeria and in deed Africa would remain a dark continent that it has been. Biologists unanimously maintain that modern man came out of Africa (South Africa, to be precise), migrated to Europe through North Africa, and after centuries of groping and wallowing in senseless religious thoughts and beliefs, finally, through the enlightenment made a breakthrough, ultimately becoming advanced civilisation. Others left behind in Africa continue to wallow and grope in darkness, revelling also in unverifiable religious truth-claims. SHAME!

I know this man, personally. Whilst the likes of Tinubu and Saraki, the frauds, are being celebrated, the brilliant contributions of Dr Tunji Braithwaite never gained currency. If Dr Braithwaite had exerted and expended his time, efforts and energy elsewhere in the world, he would have been more successful and celebrated - not in Nigeria.
