It's not against the law for a lecturer to fraternize with a student same way it's not illegal for a doctor to date his patient. It's called professional misconduct and runs against work ethics in almost all institutions. You run foul of the law whenever the other party calls it sexual harassment. It's worse because she's taking a course under him. The lecturer dint deny being involved...he said it was a set up.
Professional misconduct means the police won't come and arrest him but he's definitely going to lose his tenure and his job if there's any sign at all of a possible untoward relationship between them. Plus it's obvious you have a jaundiced view of the whole situation. Don't understand the fool you just called me though. It's totally uncalled for.

One thing I want people to know about this case is,he was indeed set up. But he committed the crime. I was there when he was being set up cos the girl in question have been to idiagbons house to beg him cos he asked the girl to come over. His colleague he is accusing now also told him to pass the girl. The set up is way above even ambali cos the set up was planned in one of his senior colleague who he always refer to as mentor's house. Though the suppose mentor is not aware. All I can say is I know the genesis of this set up. How did I know? I was there for a contract. Not until the bubble burst that it was idiagbon's set up they were planning. Thanks for telling me what I already know. The point I am making here is that the so called pastors of this generation prefer to be based in socio-economically buoyant and ethno-politically cosy environments (e.g. London, Birmingham, etc, where as a matter of fact, Christianity amongst the White-British is in monumental decline), rather than evangelising and ministering in harsh environments such as I mentioned earlier.

Not that I believe in any of those trash in the Bible. However, during the Great Commision when Jesus sent out his disciples he said "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." That includes places like Maiduguri and Afghanistan. More importantly, the Bible says "If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet." This Pastor should shake the dust of London off his feet and take the good news to the Afghans,the Somalis, Ethiopians, etc.

No she doesn't and I haven't said so. My claim is very straightforward. However, with the sort of enviable international profile she's got, one would expect her to walk away from anything that would soil her hard earned, good name in the league of nations - that's the point I'm making. In saner climes, government ministers lost their appointments and dealt fatal blows to their political careers not for falsely claiming qualifications but for plagiarising degree theses and dissertations they wrote some years earlier to their political appointments. With these sort of people at the helms of the country's affairs, Nigeria is irredeemably doomed.

That Nigerians still believe ancient Mesopotamian mythology incorporated into Jewish history and folklores never stops amazing me. Even progressive Christians now accept the Big Bang and Evolution theories as more rational explications of the Origins of the Universe and of humans, respectively.

If we factor in the Evolution Theory, then multiple coĨtus is as old as human history which in consonance with people's social mores continue to evolve.

24 months or YEARS? Nigeria is truly one of the most "FANTASTICALLY CORRUPT COUNTRIES" in the world. Shame! Like Cecelia Ibru who served her prison sentence in a Lagos private hospital under the pretext of ill health, this rogue would probably be hospitalised over the next 24 months. And, on being released, he would probably, like Bode George, head for the Cathedral Church Marina to hold a thanksgiving service. I truly wish a Tunde Idiagbon incarnate, in military uniform, topple this government and initiate a new regime of War Against Indiscipline and Corruption. What is worth doing at all is worth doing well. Shame!!
