But as a sharp broke guy, before you work few rooms your belle don full pass the so called unbroke guys..

Well, this is a simple matter. Judging from scriptures, according to the afore quote scriptures by Righteousness, King Solomon loved strange women.

It is not like our days that young men can just have a one-night stand or just have a short service to allow your lust again expression and move on, NO.. You will have to do it legally, most especially as the King of a Righteous Nation.

So, think it like this.. Any girl he like, he marries or lay claim of. That is if he sleeps with her, he marries her or claim her as a concubine. So, I believe the marriage and the claiming as the known concubine of the king is just to "do whatever he wants with them" that first time legally.. And after that, the man cannot have time to be with them again..

But I know Kings of those days have their favorites, the ones that ministers to them often.. They can change them as their soul desires.

So in summary, no same man would sleep with a thousand women consistently. Talk more of a king. He sleeps with some at the point of the "liking" and some he just wants for himself "selfishly"

I don't fully comprehend the motivation for this "Public Confession".

Firstly, there was no mention of force (or rape) during the encounter. Which means that this allegedly happened with full consent of both adults.

Secondly, if this is really a public Confession as a result of her new found faith and genuine repentance, was Apostle Suleman her first Sexual Partner? If no, why was there no mention of other partners (or at least make reference to them)? True Confession must be complete.

Lastly, are all these interviews being granted on the Internet and print media part of the repentance processes?

I wanted to travel to the city with my ND (National Diploma) result, so i can use it to look for work, I posted it here on nairaland, but 80% of the advice i got from this forum said it will be hard to see a paying job with ND result, while some said it is not even possible. Your environment is very decisive in the making of your character and personality, and when you still surround yourself with people who don't think like you soon you will become to behave like them.

If you can quit the relationship with them, get other friends that think "right" to balance the negative energy they bring..

If not, you are above 18 and you're entitled to your decisions. Whatever your friends tell you, it would still be your decision to know and choose what is good or evil.

You don't even have to wear an expensive wedding gown. A long white dress will do.

I think their problem is actually the reception which isn't even part of the white wedding.

But the issue ( Waste of time and money) is scarcely with the "White wedding" itself. The bulk of the craze is with the "couples", the trend and the Nigerian mentality.

The typical "White Wedding" is not cost.

After all the traditional rites have been carried out, the wedding is mainly for priestly blessing. Whatever comes before, and after is mainly the addition of "man" (the religious institution) and the couples to spice their day up.


Some church wedding takes less that 2hours, some even An Hour and 30mins maximum.

While others spend alot of time in dancing, preaching and other activities to make the event a memorable one..

Most churches don't carry out "Item seven" which means wasting your money for all those stuffs is strictly your CHOICE.

Mind you, the reception has nothing to do with the "White Wedding"

The reception is strictly controlled by the couple, and many invest heavily for their pride and also a means to "cash out" too. So, you won't hold that to "White Wedding" too.

I know it's a normal logic which I agree that you have a very good point looking at the way it has turned to..

If you decide to go along the craze of the wedding show, it's up to you and your bride to decide. You should care more about what your decisions are with the person you want to spend the "forever" with more than what the world thinks..

The WHITE WEDDING is not the problem, it is the CHEAPEST for anybody who wants to be reasonable and cut cost. Except your religious organization is strangely burdensome and hard on you. Of course you won't hold the world responsible for you(or your fiance) attending a church that wants to sift you as wheat..

White wedding is cheap, but many people want to do the talk of town wedding, hence the craze..

After the Traditional Wedding (which to an extend you can't control the spendings no matter how hard you try), you are strictly in control of all your spendings from there..

Yea, though it is not as if most godly parents got it wrong. Parenting itself is a great burden and challenge generally.

Firstly you should ask, how many children tend to follow their parents will generally. Very few. Whether godly, or ungodly.

Parenting is a ministry entirely, and the most important ministry. But it is a ministry we neglect because we don't get to see the profit at the end of the month like Salary. So we neglect it and focus on other matters, that would cater for the immediate needs and demands of the family.

So, it's not really easy to closely monitor your children and ensure they follow "willingly" not with compulsion the things you know that are good for them..

But some persons got it right though

Also, We should also know that, at some point in the Child's life he become solely responsible for their decisions, so their derail has little to do with their parents but their decisions not to continue in the path that was laid for them.

Finally.. We need to introduce them to a personal relationship with the Holy Spirit. That's only way they can run without getting weary.

It is very disheartening that NAIRALAND is Bias based on this matter, and I think it is not a big thing for you to do (since you've addressed it in the Muslim section)

Someone would bring up a burden, looking for solid help but "unknown gunmen" would just flood the topic to cause great distraction and the purpose of the topic is not achieved.

This is very UNFAIR to the Christian body here, and if you stand for equity you are supposed to do something about it.

Talking about what is right or not, many comedy skits promotes nudity and brings up immoral images too.

It is wisdom for us christians to guard our eyes, and if we cannot exercise discipline it is expedient we do TOTAL elimination of the hazard. Total abstinence is the extreme rule to totally keep the mind in its purity.

But if you think you can demonstrate discipline enough, please be watchful.

There are different reasons why people watch movies, reality shows and skits. And we can't force people not to engage in what interest them, but we can only advice, warn and help them see that behind every good intention the Devil lurks closely to SELL THEIR PRODUCT and promote their kingdom..

Nothing is bad in itself, but the Devil takes advantage of every open market to trade his products that enslaves the mind of man and also to set a trap for the INNOCENT believer.

So, if you don't go with a purpose in mind (a purpose in your mind sets bars of protection to quickly fight against any product from hell) you might just encounter demons and get entangled with a life long addiction or soul trap.
