It's amazing how you people rate FG.
How do you mean """ YOU PEOPLE"""

I know but at a point we must push for the right things... imagine if all Nigerians becomes corrupt, nobody works anymore, everyone focus on hoarding wnd trading dollars, dont you think it will lead to crises?

Didn't you see the protest when dollar was N1700/dollar, this dollar issue affects the security, and stability of the country, because imported goods will be out of reach of the common man due to high cost, this will lead to more criminality, protests and public disorders...or should we destroy our country and all become dollar hoarders?

The federal government has no choice, for it is better for federal government to use economic policies and monetary and fiscal measures to ensure the naira is strengthened than watch the nation go up in flames and chaos...the government job is to take care of the people...if government have to subsidize dollars so it comes down, so majority of Nigerians who are poor can afford things, I support it, that is the work of government, do everything possible to make the masses okay... otherwise government will see problems in their hands.

Let us try to change o, Nigerians.
GOod luck with that

Why are you against the nation?

The nation birthed you, fed you to this day.

Is it bad to patronize Nigerian made product...I know some of us benefits from imports, dollar increase etc, but it doesn't mean we should not embrace good things...
My brother it is had ohhh, cos the persons telling us to buy 9ja do not buy 9ja, their kids are abroad, the wear designers from abroad, go on holiday abroad, medical check up abroad, they wont even drive or be driven in made in Nigeria cars. They even prefer to spend in $$$ than naira. u want me to go on??

I worked in Woolwich for 5 years building that Elizabeth line infrastructure and enabling works. So I do not need to read any blogg from anywhere, yes its an area full of diff vice, what do you expect from an old sea man area? its like Takwa bay back in the days, but it has been developed within the past 5 years, been the market has been gotten rid of and a leisure centre is popping up there.

Mr. Allen's statement is a clear indication of how far removed from the reality of life in Nigeria the elites (Entrepreneurs enjoying government patronage, politicians and their ilks) are.

He isn't aware of the true state of things.
My friend I have since realized there isn't no Middle class in Nigeria, Its either you are poor or Rich end of.

With 80k balance, feeding of 3k per head(barest minimum) will amount to 90k per month. Balance can't even cover feeding.
Transport, entertainment, electricity, tax, medicals, clothes, personal development, religious and family obligation not even covered yet.

How many people earn that amount in Nigeria. The minimum wages in Nigeria is 35k and most states pay below that.
To be honest I struggle to comprehend how people survive in less than N100K jobs in Nigeria.

More like 800k nowadays. 200k can't afford you a maid and driver in today's Naija.
With 200k salary you are not suppose to even get married as a man unless your wife is bringing something almost equivalent or more to the table or else, you will definitely live like a pauper tossed about by life problems.
I let my 2 bed flat out for N120k a month which is N1,2m a year in PHC, so that means if you earn N200k you will not be able to afford it as you are now left with N80K to run things till month end.

If you have been earning N400k in Nigeria for the past 15 year you are now a poor man in 2024 as your standard of living will drop or you will be left struggling each month with less than 15K balance

Yes, hope you know what a scrub nurse is? as far back as 2019 I know someone earning £30/hour and as we speak prison officers on overtime earn £22/hour and basic salary of between 31 to 34k in London. and that's is band 3, now band 4 is 40k, band 5 is 45k plus and I am a band 8 in the civil service!.The chair person in most local council in London earns more than £120K.

Remit 2k pounds, you dnt pay rent, bills etc.. Yeye

Common shout that thin u called mouth yeye

I came with over 20,000 pounds.. Oya give me let me return back to Nigeria

Sense u no get.
I said I work 24/7 this Easter breaks did I mentioned dependant working 24/7.. I only said I came with dependant..

In Nigeria I don't pay 650 pounds for rent, plus 60 pounds every month on phone bill, 70 pounds for heat, 60 pounds for light or should I go on?
In fact in Nigeria I had my house, I stay free with free water before I sold it coming here

This another issue with you lot.u think everyone has to do silly jobs cos U are doing such and limiting your ability.cos we all dey Nairaland..U dnt k ow some of us earn 500 pounds a day.some even 700 plus a day. Some epeople on here earn 5k pounds take home after tax and overhead of less than 2k pounds in a month..Howmuch do you think a registered nurse earn in a month take home.look guy it all depend on your level
In Nigeria we spend 110k to fuel Gen at home.fuelling my two cars the mrs n mine cost almost 150k in a month cos min3 is diesel i took from here to 9ja..Internet is another level with MTN.now Im getting the musk dish for 900k and 38k monthly.twinskenny is going toninstal my solar i know 5hat will set me bck at least 8M.Middle class in 9ja is dead its either u r rich or u poor simple.
My 2 bed flat i just let out now 1.2m in ph so thats 120k/month dem never eat ohhh. Stay there nor hustle fast waste this chance God carve give u dey complain.as far back as 2012 I already bought a 75k car and me n u fit be same age u are here insulting your father jus cos man is pointing your flaws out.You are here crying of 20k pounds wen your mates do more legit. 20k pounds is less than 40m naira as today for your mind nah big money making ur head swell.I laugh in spanish

Lolz , ask those who have been there for 10 years ,how many of them have 18,000 pounds in their accounts as savings
Someone was even telling me I can save 20k dollars within 6months , that is the narrative they sell to people , when people get there and their eyes clear , then they will start working their asses off to gather the same money they used in travelling abroad in order to come back. Travelling is good no doubt but e get as e be
You do realise saving £18 means sqving £500 monthly for 36 months.U think this is not doable?Everyone has his or her own commitment.of yours is to save cool if yours is to invest great. If urs is to grove happy days.your P60 is there to remimd you howmuch u earned each year.

You also made mention of bills as if we dont pay bills in Nigeria..look if U think say suffer dey here go home.men dey here dey remit 2k pounds mo thly no issues.

Working 10 to 11 hours during day time and without rest enter another work in the night till day break.

Doing this to pay bills.

U know say oyibo working for them in an hour you got to stand running here and there else they won't pay u a dime.

The man better got a better preparation because soon he will begin to appreciate Nigeria where he comes from as there are so many privileges he enjoys but here u pay with ur swt
