Kobojunkie: You said science could solve 99% of the problem that is Nigeria, so I am looking forward to reading how you solve the problem that is baby factories(their ritualist clients as well) in Nigeria using science. Well that's hearsay, I don't know anyone who has that problem, or do you know anyone who has a problem of getting babies to do rituals? |
Family › Re: What Happens To The Babies Born In Baby Factories by erico2k2(m): 4:55pm On Nov 11, 2022 |
Kobojunkie: ▪︎ You can't conveniently ignore the core reasons for why people seek out baby factories in order that you can assert your solution as the one for all. Please go back through and carefully consider some of the reasons already noted for why baby factories continue to thrive and tailor your scientific solutions to those. .
For instance, a) how does science provide babies needed by the ritualists in their many rituals? b)How does science solve the issue that our "barren" wife who is about to be kicked out of her husband's house under false claims? c) how does science stop the kidnapping and raping of girls in those baby factories? .....and so on.
▪︎ Don't drag government into this as though by doing so all problem automagically dissolves away. You stated that science has solutions for all so I am looking forward to reading exactly how you have science solving this here issue. ▪︎ it's not my understanding that is the problem here but yours. You claimed science solves 99% so let's see science resolve 99% of this. How does ritualise amount to a personal problem if not lebbeled as greed? All them problems can be solved by benightment. If we have good technology ransom money will be traced, your cell phone used in demanding for ransom will be traced less than an hour# Society Ills are usually solved by enlightens; how do you expect to enlighten people when any form of science is not involved. Let me give U a simple example back in the old days a woman kept giving birth to kids who die b4 they get to 14, she labelled a witch and driven out of the community, banished. Out of 9 kids she got, only two survived.it was later in life and due to awareness both kids realized they are AA and Mum and Dad where AX, sickle cell carrier. This misery was solved by science, this story is very close to home for me. BAck to your question How does science provide babies used for ritualist? Who want to solve that kinda problem when its due to pure greed and evil? |

Kobojunkie: We have already been through how IVF is not what is referred to as baby factories in Nigeria, and already delved a bit into how IVF cannot be a replacement. So try again! you are degreasing read what I wrote again, I'm saying if Govt enlighten people more on IVF surrogacy, donor eggs, eggs freezing etc no one will go to baby factories as IVF and surrogacy gives a better and more legitimate outcome. How is this hard to understand? |

Improving IVF awareness and enlightening people as to what options there out there when it comes to having a baby. You spread this information through social media and mass campaign. Benightment is done through social engineering which in turn is social science. NEXT |

Kobojunkie: That's not of importance since what's more of the issues faced by the average Nigerian on a regular basis, as you see here on Nairaland daily, are not problems science can readily solve.
I simply stated that given your focus is primarily on the science resolvable issues, it means about 90% of the time you are not able to properly opine, beginning right here on Nairaland for instance. I have told you b4 and will maintain that science solves 99% of human problem, I have challenged you to name one problem on Nairaland you think science cannot solve you are being oblivious, Still waiting. All the problems in Nairaland can be solved by science prove me wrong by name on! |

Kobojunkie: No, a man doesn't need to see a doctor to know he is not shooting on all cylinders. Some folks know from even a child hood accident that things didn't turn out so well down there. I cannot speak on non-proven entity; I can only comment on what science can support! I will leave that for men on ground to debate, I am sticking to the science part as this is what I know and can debate on! |

Kobojunkie: You are not following is what.
The man as I stated is the impotent one, but in a country where women are mostly to blame when a couple is childless, what do you intend for the woman to do? Invite the husband who refuses to accept he is the fault to IVF clinic for tests and procedures? Well, you said if a man is Impotent. Then if it was established the man is impotent it means they already have gone to a family clinic cos only such places can declare on impotent!SO he is halfway there to knowing what options is available unless he is being mischievous. |
Family › Re: What Happens To The Babies Born In Baby Factories by erico2k2(m): 1:33pm On Nov 10, 2022 |
pocohantas: Surrogacy doesn’t make it 100% either and you are still missing out all the major characteristics of the women in question. Yes it doesn't but you can re try as much times as you want there is no limit, unlike IVF |

Kobojunkie: The man send you say na him be the problem? You are told the woman is accused of being barren and is about to be kicked out of her marriage under false accusation. Family › Re: What Happens To The Babies Born In Baby Factories by erico2k2(m): 1:29pm On Nov 10, 2022 |
Kobojunkie: I understand the people's fear since no one wants a baby factory in their neighborhood cause it could be their daughter next.
Boarding all surrogates together in a place can raise suspicions and yes, it is right that the police are made aware of what is going on too. Yes and I agree, these are the issues. People need more enlightened, so these mothers do not get stressed and humanified and subjected to ridiculed. I have seen where a doctor has a big clinic with at least 20 rooms to accommodate expectant women, now he is rich, but for some, the customer has to find accommodation for them or bound them in a flat or some sort of accommodation to reduce cost. |
Family › Re: What Happens To The Babies Born In Baby Factories by erico2k2(m): 1:26pm On Nov 10, 2022 |
pocohantas: Do not forget that IVF is not 100% success and the women in question are most times old, unlearned, desperate, brainwashed and religious zombies. I know it's not 100% but that's where surrogacy came in as back up, one can be 200 years old and still have a surrogate mother! |
Family › Re: What Happens To The Babies Born In Baby Factories by erico2k2(m): 1:24pm On Nov 10, 2022 |
Kobojunkie: And you assume everyone cares whether the baby is blood related or not?
A woman who is, for instance, married to an impotent man and is about to be kicked out of her marriage for being barren would go as far as to steal a stranger's baby in order to keep her Mrs. Status intact. Don't try to think too simply of the Nigerian mentality abeg! Well according to the narrative you gave up there dont you think since its the man who has the problem then they can have IVF?cos if I was a doctor and declare someone impotent, I will then have to tell them their options? NB: Guys these discussions and posting we all are having here might be key to some readers happiness, some people are actually in need of these info like yesterday, we might be joking about ir throwing banter etc, but trust me its a big deal in some people's life right about now. |

pocohantas: Do not use me as an illustration as I do not fit into that demographic. IVF is cheaper with a 50:50 success rate. These women are not usually below 35-40. Which further reduces their chances. You can’t compare IVF with a doctor/pastor that has promised them a 100% miracle baby. well I did not mean U as a person but still I will stop using you in narratives, That been said, do not forget IVF is part of surrogacy. Hey go together |

Kobojunkie: Baby factories
Baby factories are illegal and for good reason. I have seen this in documentary in Nigeria and loads of other parts of the world but that is at extreme You do know in NIgeria when a doctor is offering surrogacy he has to house the pregnant girls somewhere depending on the pocket of the customer right? sometimes in a four-bedroom flat in the city and people around had called the police and they get raided and labelled baby factories right? |
Family › Re: What Happens To The Babies Born In Baby Factories by erico2k2(m): 1:13pm On Nov 10, 2022 |
Kobojunkie: I don't know of any is why I ask. So what you meant was an IVF clinic? But people don't typically refer to IVF clinics as baby factories in Nigeria.
By the way, my understanding is that a baby factories are places we're actual babies are birthed and sold to individuals/couples. Why is a Surrogacy clinic listed as a Banu factory when there are no actual babies given to couples when they visit- I mean the surrogate and couple meet up at a hospital after all has been taken care of, right? Hmmm You know the notion of where there are no buyers there are no sellers right? U think of this, would you pay N1.5 to buy a child from baby factory when you can actually do IVF for N1.5 and be blood related to the child?your answer to this will give a clear understanding to what I am talking about |
Family › Re: What Happens To The Babies Born In Baby Factories by erico2k2(m): 1:09pm On Nov 10, 2022 |

Mynd44: You don't seem to have an understanding of unlearned people so please stay away from me.
In Nigeria, a woma who has gone 20 years without a child is most likely on her own in her quest.
But this has flown over your head same way "in the guise of has" Just cos u was made Mod does not mean you can speak to people in flip flop way and xpect a backdown who the hell do you think you are, you are xtreemly rude why don't you just seize responding if you cannot have an adult conversation, .No one is begging you to agree with anyone, if you do not like what Im posting you are more than welcome to stop responding do not get too big for your boots |

pocohantas: This is not about me. Like I said, a lot of these women are ignorant and sometimes brainwashed by pastors. Nothing to be honest with myself here. They don’t particularly go to baby factories, some of these BFs work in conjunction with maternal homes and these women are told not to go to proper hospitals as an evil hand is after the child or many other nonsense.
You are telling yourself that all the “rich” people in the country are BSc and PhD holders. I never said it was about you I was using you as an illustration, Anyway the narrative you gave up there is quite extreme do not believe this is the true reflection on ground as IVF is fairly cheap in Nigeria,N1.5 million can sort you out in a low budget location so why all them stress. |
Family › Re: What Happens To The Babies Born In Baby Factories by erico2k2(m): 1:02pm On Nov 10, 2022 |
Kobojunkie: Can you please indicate the contact information of some of these Surrogacy clinics were the services indicated in bold can be obtained abeg! Bro they are plenty in Nigeria, loads of couples I have seen have traveld back to Nigeria from the Uk to have it done cos its cheaper plus once you are above 35 you cannot do it in the Uk under NHS Im quite close to this as in my line of work I have to deal and maintain some of the equipment's for storing of eggs and sperm. Check you city and google there must be one of them Family clinic near you. just check for IVF clinics, the big names will come out. |

pocohantas: Your shalaye is unnecessary, Sir. The women in question are usually not learned enough to know this. So yes, “under the guise” would suffice. so you are telling me a couple who can cough up N2milion is not learned enough to understand what ectopic pregnancy is? Are you being serious?? |
Family › Re: What Happens To The Babies Born In Baby Factories by erico2k2(m): 12:55pm On Nov 10, 2022 |
pocohantas: There are men for that.
Some are victims of rape or unwanted pregnancy.
The managers of these baby factories are very strategic. When they spot a young pregnant girl around, if she looks homeless or abused, they propose accommodation or restaurant jobs. be honest with yourself and answer this question, if you are married and can't have kids but your husband can, bill is N2m would you go to so called baby factory to get a child or contact one of them Agents and have ur husband sperm fertilise frozen or extracted eggs to fertilize and put back to another woman AKA Surrogacy? NB.What most people do not realize is most of the baby factories we so call are actually low budget Surrogacy clinics. |
