stmezico:I can't agree less |
I remember the PDP making this joke in 2014 and today, the rest is history. I'd only support their merger with Obi as flagbearer. If atiku finds his way in, I won't |
linconab:Hello. Don't entertain any form of worry. Why were you refused? Work on that. Again, to those uploading all their towns master plans, lol. All you need do is , just follow the simple procedure. Their requirements are precise on their website. If they need more information, they'd contact you. You don't have to pay for any hotel in advance my broda. Hotel and flight booking aren't realistic nowadays too. I booked a hotel for Hungary last September and they were asking me to pay in 24 hours. I cancelled it. I now booked another one and kept it. On arrival early October, the rate wasn't the same anymore and i wasn't informed beforehand. I booked a flight for a North American trip last week on travelwings, they called me the following day to pay. travelstart does that too. If you don't pay within 24-48hrs, it will be cancelled so, flight or hotel booking in advance is old-fashioned. Visa Processing time is pretty long now and IRCC knows that. Unlike when we used to get a decision within 2 weeks back then. If you go to booking.com, book and keep your details, by the time you're ready to fly after approving your visa, rates won't be the same again because you may have held it for too long due to the ridiculously long processing time for Nigerian applicants. Next time, do the following: Just state you're spending 10 or 12 days and put like 4000CAD (I've always stated this figure right from my first visa approval) and upload an itinerary( places you'd like to visit as a tourist), book some fun parks and upload the bookings, watch before you book, so you don't book expensive ones and overshoot your 4000cad budget. As a tourist, an invite isn't necessary. Under that column on the IRCC website where you're asked to upload your invitation letter just upload the bookings made on those fun parks. Most of them don't ask for payment when booking. The below is an example of your itinerary... 16th January, arrival in BC 17th visit to XYZ Park and take a short ride 18th visit to XYZ and repeat the visit on 19th and 20th. 21st, travel to XYZ Town and have a feel of the Niagra falls. It takes an xyz hours to get there so I'd rest on arrival. I hope to spend 3 days there(22nd 23rd and 24th), etc. On Sunday, I'd go to church located at XYZ for service and if you're a Muslim, on Friday, state the nearest mosque where you'd like to visit and pray...though not compulsory, Just precise itinerary and locations wouid suffice. Your bank balance was good. Maybe because I've been traveling before, I don't bother myself with the above stories, I only did in my first time of applying. It may be necessary for first time applicants. Even during my first time applying, I didn't have a house or property document so, I didn't submit one. My visa was approved. The IRCC only wants to know that you'd come back to Nigeria after your visit and you've shown proofs that you had a company from what I read on what you stated that you submitted. If you're a member of any professional body or association, you may upload certificates under documents on the portal not your academic certificates except you're applying to study. Also, highlight your leave period in your introduction letter and upload . Your company can sponsor your vacation. It's allowed and don't forget to state that also There are people who have houses and have sold them. They uploaded proofs, got to Canada but never came back. The VOs are psychologists too, mind you. That 12k is much. Having 100m in your account isn't a criterion for a visa approval. They'd look at your inflows and outflows for the period requested, not just a lump sum deposit. Please take note of this next time. Even if you don't have travel history, it doesn't matter, just be precise, honest and plan well ahead, though travel history helps boost your application, especially to the US. They hardly reckon with visits to UK from experience. My cousin had been to UK 2 times and his visa was still refused until he got USA visa and reapplied with a fresh visa and same documents he uploaded in the previous application. He got 5 years on a 5-year validity passport. I still don't know why usa visa ( valid or expired) is a plus till now. Maybe because they're neighbours. Try next time, Tell them the 4000cad doesn't include your flight ticket but only for your stay. They'd do the maths with the credit balance and your account performance ( esp the in flows)with the bank statement you uploaded on a rough estimate of your flight ticket . I hope you got my points. Pls Pardon my long story. I felt you needed help and this would help. Still read widely on this thread. The information garnered would also help you. Good luck next time. |
Cocolatti:Are you saying religion will be a decider in thhs case? No wonder the country isn't at peace when people are being deprived of their rights openly. God doesn't live in such an environment. Then let's throw our constitution away and appoint secondary school graduates as judges, since those who are professionals will be biased against a supposed winner. We don't need them there since they can't do their jobs notably. I still have the nasarawa results on my computer till now. You can imagine the people of the state saying openly that the pdp guy was their endorsed candidate and Labour willingly stepped down and supported him. It will be interesting though. Sule even lost his ward and LG where he hails from, to show Nigerians it wasn't about religion |
Nasarawa election was so clear and I hope the past leaders in that state won't connive with the federal govt to upturn the judgement in favour of the APC . It would be a slap on the face of the pdp guy who was voted overwhelmingly, just the way kano election went. |
SoNature:Another emotional Nigerian. . Is he the only Nigerian with great ideas. We're over 200m guy. Where him own end, na there another pesin with better ideas start. She o ye ę? He needs to bow out honourably else, he'd set a bad precedent for the next generation of politicians and public office holders |
Opeyemi007:Congrats Ope. This has validated my earlier post. Your USA visa as an applicant will remain a plus, whenever the IRCC is working on your application cos your application processing will be expedited. I read about you obtaining a US visa last December, after seeing the good news you shared, great one! As you're still single, please enjoy yourself to the fullest, but carefully. Don't be coerced into whatever could get you entangled and please, pray for the right one always. The US VO must have seen how vibrant you are career wise , for her to have said you can't give birth in the US unless you're married, telling you to travel responsibly . She knew anything could happen as a single guy and a frequent traveller that you are.Good luck! |
Senegal is really entertaining us , displaying the real soccer skills. Politics has destroyed our sports in Nigeria. I'm not interested in watching any super chickens who would only cause me a needless HBP. I wish the NFF could be privatised. Anyone who visits surulere, agege or national stadium on a Saturday will select the best 11 that can compete with any team in the world. At NFF, Jersey is for the highest bidder. |
Bongadu:Hear yourself Wicked guy like you. I blame girls who are opening their legs for people like you who don't even appreciate what's called love. What if she agreed to abort and she died in the process? |
DMerciful:You have a point but what happens to the Ondo oil wells? There are oil companies there drilling as well. Obat Oil, Agip shell and Chevron used to be there. Dangote can still tap from there and lay pipes across the coastal lines directly to his refineries. Maybe he's afraid of the cost implications in the laying of the pipes, vandalism too. |
Which party is in government? Talk to them sir. These are the people they told us they'd crush, that we should vote for them in 2015. Instead of fighting them, they took to their usual propaganda which they rode on to power, that boko haram had been technically defeated. Sadly, gullible minds still voted them again. |
Teens too plenti for here shaa. @ justwise, kindly look into the tantrums being thrown at one another by the 3 monikers up there and do the needful. This thread is being derailed , ę joo. |
PheelzAlmighty:He said it all, nothing like comedy in his words. Many pretty, fresh-skinned ladies and guys you see out there carry hiv but you'd never know cos they take their drugs regularly to stay healthy. A word is enough for the wise |
Who watches super chickens nowadays Una get time |
Thanks, great man! |
It's been a blessing to me as a person. but watch what you see |
Chinjo2:Including himself |
orjohn24:I've been following this thread since it was created almost 10 years ago. We know ourselves. New entrants here may have obtained a visit visa and left for Canada after tapping from the rich ideas shared by members here but refused to come back. At least, I know of those who have been travelling to Canada long before this thread was created and are also members here. Most of us visit only cos we have strong ties to Nigeria. We work and live here. I've been visiting since 2005 when we used to apply for canada visa at their embassy at anifowoshe office, VI. Processing time back then was 2 weeks. That was before they sub-contracted visa processing to the VFS Global. My first US visa was obtained about same year. Be that as it may, if anyone chooses to visit Canada and ends up staying back, who am I to stop that person? It's their choice bro. The economic situation isn't smiling. Anyone who has the opportunity to japa should do so, but sensibly. Go to study there like most of us did, tap opportunities and come back home to utilize it. Our leaders and those who supported them will be met with God's reward. They're the cause of the current economic woes |
Curious345:Economy nko? Like play , like okay, bandits have entered Abuja. O ga oo |
Many people have failed to realise something. Gifts of God are for mankind. God gives without looking back to collect it. To some, vision, to others, power to heal, and some, He will give wisdom while some, dreams. However, how you use these gifts, you must give account when you meet Him after your sojourn on earth. If TB Joshua had used it well , he will face the creator. Only man will give you gifts and take it back. But when God gives, even if you begin to sell it to the poor when God Himself says salvation is free or you mess up with it by defiling God's trmple with it, you'd give account. |
orjohn24:Please brace yourselves. Most of us here on this forum are visitors/tourists who visit regularly on holidays or programmes and return to Nigeria afterwards. I think this piece of advice would be more relevant at the Canada students visa and Express entry sections, hoping they'd have a sense of reasoning. Thanks. |
IBB should leave these corrupt minds and allow them to be playing. One party system is dictatorial, a semi military style of government in which people who are opposed to their heinous plans are intimidated |
wrongnumber:Height isn't a determinant at all |
PinkNature:A lot of people are getting it all wrong with this belief. Being tall doesn't determine the size or length of your manhood. Any lady who harps on this will be disappointed, 90% of the time. A woman once complained to a Dr friend that her husband is Mr big and she's always uncomfortable each time they meet. She said she's had tears several times and it's always painful. By the time the man showed up, he's barely 5ft tall. My friend now counseled them on how to go about it with a longer pre-intimacy, the type of cream to buy and they'd be fine. In like-manner, a fulani young lady in Abuja once cried out too. She said her tall husband had a very small manhood. She said she decided to keep herself for that man of her choice, that she had always looked for a handsome and tall guy and finally, she got one. She said they both agreed they'd not meet each other until after their wedding day. She said she's not doing again. She's from a wealthy and educated home. My friend had to sit her down and cancelled her. He also told her what to do to manage it. |

This is good development. My concern is just the environmental pollution that will bedevel the residents of our great state. We used to deal with asthma attacks in the oil producing areas in Warri, PHC and Bayelsa and it's still there as we speak. Nobody would even tell you of the refinery road in warri by the time you start the journey to that location. The impact of the air pollution is worse than that of a cement factory pollution. |
BabaHenry:Nice to know. I learned something new today. That's amazing 👏 |
BabaHenry:Hmmmm. Have you been to Mowe/Ibafo lately? What of Sango/Ota? Most of internet users there work in lagos and retire home in the evening. They prepare and send their reports over the werkends and all. Can you pls tell me what's interesting about ijebu ode that would generate a convincing data in Internet usage? After the moribund Odutola Tyres, I can't place my mind on any viable existing company there. Maybe teachers and students of tasued are those consuming those data though. Don't abuse oo, just present your case in a civil manner if you want me to still respond to you. I'm waiting. |
