Shell is smarter. Unfortunately our government cares leas for the citizens. After destroying our land for decades, making trillions of dollars for themselves and their people back home and rendering several people jobless expecially fishers in host communities, you now want to leave them behind with nothing, knowing fully well that petrol would soon be outdated in the world, as the alternatives to energy are taking over soon.

Hello Guys,
Please when eligibility is stating completed on tracker for about 7 days now and PPR has not drop, does it mean Approval or otherwise?

How long does it take for PPR to drop after eligibility is stated completed on tracker.
Eligibility completion means, you're eligible to visit Canada. It's one of the stages in processing your application after all due background checks had been conducted about you, just like biometric request is one of the stages as highlighted on the portal. Wait for their decision, which is the final stage of your application processing and hope for the best.

Those guys are lazy, with zero discipline, running around like headless chickens.

Highest bidder my ass.

Let’s have your supposed squad if you say those ones paid to be in the team and aren’t worthy.

Don’t mention Ndidi and Boniface, we know they’re injured and would’ve been invited
I don't know where you live..but try and visit Teslim Balogun, Surulere, Agege or National Stadium on a Saturday, if you're a professional coach you'd select 2 National teams among them who can represent us well in any tournament. Those were the places where some of our retired stars of the 90s were selected from and they did us proud

My cousin was the best female.player in the whole of Ibadan early 2000s. She was always going to liberty Stadium to train. She was supposed to be enlisted into the National team. Each time she'd be coming to our house soliciting for help. She always mentioned 100k, which the football body was asking her to pay before they could accept her, despite her great talent and skills.

She looks so masculine in appearance. If not her breast, you'd think Taiwo was male. In the end, she was able to raise 50k with the help of her coach. She was dropped. Who knows,. Maybe she'd have been the best among them in her time. She's in her 40s now. When I said corruption, I knew what I was saying . It didn't even start today but it's worse now.

Have you watched Senegal play? What of Morocco, Equatorial Guinea and other so called less-important nations? Watch their replays on YouTube. Maybe, you'd reason differently Are you saying our boys are doing well in this tournament? Emotions don't win a game, team effort with preparation do. Both are lacking in this game. If they're doing well of course, they will earn my accolades. If not for the penalty awarded in our favour, we wouldn't have won the last match.

I'm a patriot but will never be emotional in my judgement. The golden rule abolished in my opinion is far better than own goal. The player who committed the own goal could be killed by fans or he commit suicide since it was against his wish. Every team goes to a tournament with the hope of winning. Its not a fair play at all. They should take it out.

I have already submitted application and did biometrics. Are you suggesting the 3k I stated for 10 days is enough, or will they factor hotel and flight into it?

Because from my understanding of how much Is available for your stay, I thought flight and accommodation is not part . I don't know how they interpret it.
I see. How much is available for your stay means how much are you bringing to Canada to spend during your 10-day stay...3k should be fine in that case, depending on your movement while in Canada though. If you have programmes in different cities or provinces far apart. They'd assume you'd want to fly and in this case, flight ticket would gulp a huge part of the 3k. Just hope for the best and have faith

Good morning everyone. I have been given visitor visa as tourist since September. When I did my research, I discovered that it's not really easy to convert your visitor visa to work permit and even if you seek for asylum, it's not easy as well and someone may be deported back if you don't have strong claim. My question is.. how do one go about converting your tourist visa to work permit? Or should I just go through school by applying for study permit...
Since you've been issued a TRV already, why not just go and come back and then, apply for a resident visa? Even your job permit/express entry application (hoping you've secured a job already cos job is hard now, somehow) would be given a boost cos you've visited and come back. The process would be expedited.
Everyone should take note of this, especially the young ones who wish to emigrate. Traveling is an investment so, Invest wisely for a quick and favorable ROI. If you go now with your TRV, it's risky if you don't come back. This is a hard fact. Even those who emigrated legitimately are facing job challenges right now though they have hope which a TRV holder doesn't have. You don't want to enter canada and be counting beautiful skyscrapers and bridges naw. Rather, you want to work and enjoy a good life. They can't be compared with those who carry TRVs.

How many people would the asylum favour? Does it even still work? I visited a friend in Chicago in 2018. Inside the building were 5 Nigerians who were in their late 40s and early 50s. They told me though they were in America, their final destination was Canada. Before I left the US, my friend said they had all left for Canada via the USA border. On getting there, one was lucky while the rem 4 were held by CABSA. They all had families back home. You don't want to go through all the risks naw.

Come back, prepare well for emigration through a legit means. Even if you apply as a student, your visa approval won't be an issue cos of the experience but you also need to meet the requirements which i believe you easily can, doing it on your own. Amazingly, you would still meet those who have chosen to stay back with their TRV, still running up and down for a solution by the time you go back. When I went to school in America, some of my friends who travelled same time as me on a B1/B2 visa who chose to stay back are still in America today, still no papers, nothing. Parents are old. Some aren't even alive anymore. They only cried and cried and accepted their fate cos they couldn't come home. What a life!

I know my advice still would pass through some desperate guys' deaf ears but trust me, if you can apply via a legit means, your journey would be faster and smoother into life's comfort. Don't bother taking time it would cost you into consideration. Those who got admitted into unis after covid will be graduating this year. So, its not as far as you may have thought. Good luck!

I'm telling you. It all started from the advent of the Internet. I remember in year 2001 when Internet cafe was in scanty places. I'd locate one and browse schools and scholarships during what we called night browsing then. In same cafe, you'd see boys surrounding a computer and be watching porrn all night. What about the 3k I stated as available funds for my stay?

Because UK will ask how much is available for your trip. This I understand covers everything from flight to accommodation etc. But in the case of canada they asked how much is available for your stay.

If this includes flight and accommodation, then I don't think the 3k will be enough . But if its money you have at hand to spend in canada, then it will be enough.

So do I have to let them know the flight and hotel is not included .
It all depends on duration of stay. If you're not staying beyond say, 12 days, 4k is fine. State clearly that its your travel allowance and doesn't include airfare and hotel accommodation. They'd do the maths for both, using the bank statement you're presenting. If statement credit balance carries some weight , you should be fine.

You can see a room of btw 60-100CAD in most of the major cities per night. Your max expenses on accommodation would be 1,200CAD. You'd still have enough in your pocket to spend on places you'd like to visit before returning home.

Hello Bosses in the house, please I need your advice concerning my application.

I visited UK on a 6 months visa, after which I applied for 5 years visa and it was successful.

I decided to apply for canadian visit visa. But here are the issues I am facing.

I booked a hotel on booking.com for 10 days from 31st January. I did my biometric in Abuja on the 13th of November.

However I got a mail from booking that the hotel reservation I made was cancelled. I called the hotel and they said there was a problem with booking, that most reservations done there were cancelled.

I was giving an option to book again directly with them or go back to booking.com and book again.

Now I made a deposit and I have not requested for refund. Since I don't really know how long the process will take I have not bothered to book again .

My fear is that the embassy might contact the hotel and be told I don't have a reservation.

Secondly on the form I was asked how much is available for my stay and I stated 3000 dollars. I am worried that they may assume my flight and hotel reservation is part of the 3k, which is not what I meant.

So please, what do I do about the hotel reservation. And how to I clarify that the 3k is just for my stay, hotel and flight not included.

I will appreciate your advice .

Thanks
Canada doesn't take both flight and hotel reservations into consideration when approving a TRV application. Otherwise, they'd not be approving visas after the event you planned to attend in their country is long expired. Their seemingly endless processing time, which they're quite aware of, is another reason they don't take cognisance of the aforementioned.

Apart of the mockery of tradition, these are also religious leaders so it might escalate.

It happens ooo. The reason is because sometimes, an airline may not have a flight going to your destination at that point in time, so they partner with partnership airline. For instance, Iberia is in partnership with British Airways. You may book Iberia but they may re connect you to BA, if need be. I have never had the experience personally with two schengen stops, too but I have seen a lot of people falling into this trap, ignorantly. Imagine the trauma you experience missing your flight and paying extra to re- book because of what you were ignorant of.

Air Morocco then partner with Turkish airline sometimes. Once you land in casablanca, they may connect you with Turkish airline to Frankfurt depending on the availability of their own airline to Frankfurt.

Yes, when emirates flight was still available in Nigeria, you need to get a transit visa to Dubai when having a stop in Dubai with another airline before boarding to your destination from Dubai, except you travel with emirates airline, then you don't need a transit visa to Dubai before you enroute to your final destination

I have never flown emirates because I use cheap Ethiopian airline anytime I go to Dubai 😍😂
I see. The dubai case was because Emirates, which I boarded from lagos in 2019 had almost a day layover in dubai and it was so cheap. I guessed it was because of the aircraft which was going to lift us from dubai to Los Angeles . It was their A380 Airbus, a double-decked aircraft which had the capacity to airlift about 700 passengers at a time. That was my first time of boarding the amazing Air beast. Maybe they delayed departure deliberately in order to allow passengers coming from different locations to be able to link up.

The visa we obtained to enter dubai city and enjoy in their hotel was the entry visa, not transit visa cos we passed through their immigration and our passport was stamped and we joined the bus waiting outside their new terminal to convey us inside town

Yes my life is better. U know why?

I was making let's say, 10 naira per month before. It was more than enough for me.
Now I make 12 naira. It's still more than enough.

Let me break it down for u.

Before, I cud have excess of 200k to flex about in a month.

Now I can have excess of 160k to flex around.

Now does that make things worse for me?

No.

Before u come out to defend Unilever, let me remind u that most of these companies that have been in Nigeria even before I was born started lowering their quality since.

Take Mr biggs for example: they went down when Nigeria wasn't even deteriorating.

Cadbury BOURNVITA isn't the same taste like it used to be in the early 90s.

And the taste changed like in the mid nineties.

I suspect greedy Nigerians in charge of some of the departments made caused this.

What about indomie?

Indomie isn't the Indomie it was the first year it came out.

Yet indomie is if not the most bought item in this country. Yet they compromised on their standards even though they have a large number of customers.

My own thinking is that greedy shareholders want to make maximum profits at all costs so they keep increasing prices
The harsh economic condition is the cause of compromise in quality among some industries. Mr Biggs is owned by Nigerians. Do not even compare. Unilever still maintains their quality. This i know. On whether you fare better now than you were in the past, I reserve my comment. Our conscience is the right judge

I say this cos av always felt that the top shots in companies are the main cause of these problems. As soon as shares start dropping they exit.

Its not like they are not making profits o. But they wud prefer to make very large profits
Before I respond to your question, you wey no be Unilever, as an individual, is your life better now than it was some years back? Are you spending less or you are spending more?

Unilever will never compromise the quality which they have known for donkey years due to poor economy. You cannot compare Omo with WAW. Omo forms lather much more than the highly publicized WAW. A handful of omo will wash clothes but other detergent brands can't. When your clothe washed with omo dries up, it glitters. In order to maintain their quality, they would rather go to a country with favourable economic condition.

Come to think of it, as poor as Nigeria is, we buy fuel almost same price as those who are developed and our law makers earn the highest in the world. They buy Toyota SUV instead of Peugeot and/or locally made cars. They keep borrowing. I am so sorry for this country.

According to FreeStuffsNG and his co-travellers, Nigeria will turn into Switzerland in a matter of days now. Food is cheap and the naira is stronger than ever at an all time low price of 1360/$

Dangote will sell us fuel at the price of #50/lt soon and a bag of rice will go back to the 8k it was selling for when Jonathan was intimidated out of office barely 9 years ago.

It's not even been up to a decade since nigerians decided to give the APC a chance, yet look at how much ruin our country is in. When some of us speak out, it will look as if we like it when bad things happen to our country, but that's very far from the truth! We only console ourselves with making mockery of APC supporters stupidity. We know all too well that whatever terrible consequence the APC government's incompetence brings to the table, we will all partake in it!

It just feels like yesterday, Buhari came in promising Eldorado. But upon seeing that it isn't as easy as Jonathan made it look, they decided to devise a means that will ensure that Nigerians don't give them the Ghadaffi treatment>>>> TRIBALISM. It worked so well, and ever since then, the APC has become invincible. No matter how low they sink this country, mark my words, they will always get away with it! At this point, someone has to step in or else...
Anyone waiting for a revolution is just wasting his time. All the APC has to do is pay Sam Larry and his thugs to infiltrate whatever protest or revolution and cause mayhem. Or if that doesn't work, give the revolution a tribal colouration and voila! people will throw their common sense out the window. God bless Nigeria.
LOL. I bought dollar at 1341 naira at allen avenue today. my mallam friend said it's because he had known me for long, that he sells higher than that rate to others. Imagine. One thing about those supporting this directionless administration is that, they are the main casualties but pretending everything is alright.
