As the election approaches, we need to think deeply. The north already had their candidate, except we're deceiving ourselves at this point. The antecedents should have taught everyone a lesson. I was very much aware of the treatment the so called core-north gave pa Awo in his days, despite clothing them and giving them a new lease of life with our cocoa proceeds, thinking they'd support him. Sadly, they displayed their born to rule mentally at the 11th hour. Tinubu isn't getting up to 30% of the kind of support which pa awo got in the north back then. Even obj as a yoruba-born president was given a tough time despite his military experience with the massive projects concentrated in the north by his administration. He was almost voted out in his 2nd term bid. Thank God he ran to the South to seek our support. Does tinubu have the same southern support today? I leave you to answe that. Obj's govt was threatened with all manner of impeachment. I remember Ghali Umar N'a Aba who was the speaker of the house of reps as of then. There had been sharia law enactment and practice long before independence. They suddenly remembered the existence of sharia law and wanted using it against his govt. Eventually, he prevailed. He called its a political sharia, which would die a natural death. The stance of yerima of a man who was governor of zamfara on sharia can't be forgotten in a hurry. I also remember that former governor who said they should stone a poor girl allegedly caught in the act of adultery to death which sparked global outrage. The same man, who was later senator was caught sleeping with 3 whores in a hotel in that viral video which he first denied but when he saw the video, he said...I'm entitled to my privacy, you see how hypocritical these people can be? Jonathan came and was frustrated with boko haram, starting from bombings in abuja. They sponsored all manner of attacks on his government. I remember same El-Rufai in that government, they way he was always attacking Jonathan. Jonathan's administration favoured the north the more yet, they were never satisfied cos power didn't get to their hands because they're born to rule. I remember the well thought out almanjiri education plan, which they jettisoned but now clamouring for. They later confessed that Jonathan administration favoured them more. Now that they had the power, they messed it up with corruption. We though diezani was the most corrup being ever lived, until we heard of an accountant-general who stole over 100bn and still walking the streets a free man. When Buhari came, boko haram mellowed down but the moment they realised he refused to do their bidding by granting their wish, they raged the more. They just used Buhari to steal our resources. He's not the one in charge. If north truly loved Tinubu, why present Ahmed lawan instead of him at the primaries, despite his contribution to Buhari's victory? Think about it. Was Tinubu supposed to be bribing delegates and striking a deal with contestants and Northern governors before he could have his way? It shouldn't have been that tough to win primaries naw, if they truly wanted him or a southerner to run under their ticket. It should have been unanimously decided. They don't even see southern Muslims as pure Muslims. Go and ask why our Muslims are not allowed to lead prayers in Northern mosques today. Yet they say we're one. Should obi even win this election, truth be told, Nigerians should expect mass protest in the core northern states. Maybe Nigerians would know who they truly are once again. God bless Nigeria. |

YinkaOlusesi16:Would they ever listen? They'd insult you instead until their eyes become clear and they cry out for help. Sadly, this madness doesn't have anything to do with religious beliefs and it could take different forms. Some men are animals in human skin. They're in both Islam and Christianity |
SKIBiNSKI:I believe in God. I also believe in the word of God you called fairytale Google or not, I've just told you I've never seen any human being dressed naked anywhere since I've been visiting Germany. You may join the league of unclad people if you like and that doesn't make decent people follow suit. It's your choice. |
Eg Tunde and Daura |
SKIBiNSKI:Hmmm. There's a town in Germany you said but since I've been travelling to same Germany, I've never seen people dress naked in the malls, pubs or at train stations. unclothedness is purely madness. Even Adam and eve who were the first man created still covered the revealing parts of their body |
Nobody in her right senses would leave her house this disgraceful way. Stay away from drugs, dem no go eva hear |
AmotekunSW:Obi simply kept quiet because he's not in the league of bullionaires. Bullion van-induced election is dead. Its an old tale |
Lobatan. Isn't same core north again? They'd teach tinubu election 101. Even El-Rufai is simply running with the hares and haunting with the hounds |
Great. Workaholic |
olatade:They can't be proactive over this matter simply cos it didn't favour them. You'd hear more wailing next week from more apc leaders as election approaches ![]() |
omooba969:Typos...been corrected |
They've started their usual lies again...what can't be done in 6 years, they'd desperately say is possible in 6 months ![]() |
Habaaaa. Urchins and propaganda. How many billions of new notes were printed in the first place . Ha! . |
This man has been running his mouth like tap water of late. Who forced his mouth open? ![]() |
Babachir and Adjia Ireti Kingibe are a few bold apc members apologising cos they have conscience..others are animals in human skin. They don't care. They're enemies of Nigeria |
stuffs2002:I be yorubaman, original. I can't deny that. What I said in yoruba simply means, you're a comedian. True, many non-yorubas also speak it, even more fluently than I do, same as other languages or dialets. But I'm not ibo. Change your mentality that only those supporting obi are ibos. That's a very wrong notion |
stuffs2002:Alawada kęrikęri nię ![]() We shall see |
Let's see naw. What a bad-mouthed man he is, so full of himself. No decent man talks this way. IBB had proved him wrong on this. Buhari wouid just be smiling at him. He knows how to pluck his teeth. The bullionaire of bourdillon won't take delivery of bullion vans this time around. Does he have money of his own? He used our money in lagos to sponsor Buhari, period. We will do justice to that in a couple of weeks. We will also pay back with our ballot for the military he ordered through that puppet to come disperse us at the lekki toll gate in 2020, thinking our protest was a threat to his utopian political ambition when we were busy fighting for justice for those Nigerians killed brutally by the police. Afterall, our own people are always at the receiving end. His callous character shows who he truly is. RIP Bola Raheem and co. |
Anechi:Good question. The bullionaire of bourdillon isn't happy. No bullion van will deliver cash this time for certain |
stuffs2002:Show proof. Is the court of the land that exonerated now a liar? If they don't want you, they'd do everything to remove you and that's exactly what happened to him. The company in question isn't linked to him, neither is he a director of it or a beneficiary of the grass-cutting money. I followed the case closely. Politics is truly a dirty game....in Babachir's words...who is the presidency ? That's a story for another day. For the umpteen time, you guys should stop making a mistake that Obi represents ipob or only those supporting him are ibos. The outcome of this month's election across the country would clear that negative opinion. |
ganisucks:I agree. Shock awaits those who think status quo must be maintained in every election. No more guess work and failed promises. We're wiser now . I watched him speak on channelstv tonight. |
lhordspy:I like how much you're trying to save your principal's face, despite the obvious . Its not easy |
YinkaOlusesi16:Are you for real? Na military regime cause am? . Kii she awon ęgbę oshelu pdp mo abi? Wonderful ![]() |
Ododo oro. They way I go take vex vote apc out this month eeeh! Endsars spirit lives on. This time it will he by the ballot. RIP Bola Raheem. They thought we were stupid when we were protesting in 2020. Tinubu thought it was against his utopian political ambition yet, we keep losing our own in the hands of trigger-happy police. He asked the clueless governor to call the military and the clueless errand boy of a governor did just that, not even showing respect for human lives. Fashola or ambode wouldn't have honoured such a deadly call. We shall.meet at the polls. |
Ogun again |
OlawaleBammie:OK, nice |
OlawaleBammie:An not playing at all. In that place you mentioned,.only Iyin-ado bypass is good. I learnt fayemi started it during his first term in office. The last time travelled to ekiti, I met the military at itawure who said there's no road cos the road was very bad ahead so,its been.closed.i actually saw a signboard with :no road" written on it at that junction after the place where i used to stop to eat pounded yam. I had to pass oke-imesi ekiti to ijero, then aramoko. Me I no dey lie oo. What I see is what I say. Maybe it's been long since you went home. You may call your people and ask. |
gentiles:I asked a simple question. |
Midehi3:Is Makinde CBN governor or buhari? They went to the wrong place to protest |
Which road did this bus pass through to ado ekiti Itawure-Ado Road is worst than the road leading to sambisa forest. Akire-Ikere-Ado road is a death trap. I wish we had a sensible leader someday, who would probe Fayemi and his predecessors in that state and do same across the country where their leaders had duped them. Afoyinbo bi ppęęrę la ri fayęmi si. Fayose even try small. Karma will visit all of them someday. |
Great! This is the same man they dared to go to the south east to campaign. He's in Ebonyi right now live |
