Damn!. It's high time the FG began massive retrenchment of workers in some unproductive sectors so that whatever they borrowed would be judiciously used and won't be for salary payments anymore but I doubt, because na dem people full there. Developing this country is a joke.. where just 2 civil servants are linked to over 300 houses when they're not dangote or otedola or elumelu( none of these people even own up to that despite their affluence ). I remember that fulani accountant at the ministry of power who was exposed by fashola, which made them remove the ministry from under him. He had over 50 houses in choice locations in abuja with Iver 50 exotic cars... l'ara owo epo wa naani. Free oyel money. The case is long forgotten. And we expect power to improve? What a joke! When everybody was shouting diversification and investment in agriculture which used to be our mainstay before the advent of oil, they turned deaf ears because of the free money they were getting from oil. If I were Nigerian youths, I'd form a virile political party and infuse the same united spirit of endsars to chase these old cargos away. Their policies are archaic. They claim Nigerian population was over 60% youths yet they they had the impudence to block twitter, their means of livelihood. What an insult. Only God knows how many billions Nigerian youths doing business on twitter must have lost so far. This season used to be their boom period. I wish the youths could pay them back in their coin, come 2023 since they have the number. |
Slay girls and Yahoo men. Disgusting! ![]() |
Keep observing construction works and keep permitting CCECC, Arab Contractors, Stabilini, etc keep holding sway in Nigeria. I've not seen a simple head bridge constructed by any indigenous company. Wake up! |
Kikiki. Slave! |
Kobojunkie:the 3rd and 4th line of my earlier comment are enough clues |
majamajic:That's the colour of delta tricycle |
Kobojunkie:I don't have to reply to your questions. It's purely a privacy thing, which I'd want to respect. When my mum narrated her travails over childbearing, I was like...really? Eventually thank God she had 5 of us. She'd have been called names which is common in our clime especially those in doubt of the women who had delayed births but thankfully, na our papa we resemble. Only one of us, a female carry her face. |
phemmyfour:Lool |
phemmyfour:No be only ivf dey produce multiple births oo. My mum had twins twice at the time when ivf never existed. Our neighbour had triplets too. One couldn't make it while 2 survived |
Grant loan to SMIEs to grow their business una go ask for their town's master plan and their town's first King's birth certificate as collateral. They'd be asking them to provide documents which they know they'd never get but once their friends and members of the same cult approaches them for billions of naira loan, they'd quickly approve it, some of the loans wouldn't even be secured. Seriously , our banks deserve no pity whenever a case as this comes to the fore. I think it serves them right. In the advanced world, SMIEs grow their economy and provide food at the table of the common man, not all these big companies which heavy debts on their necks as we have in Nigeria. I wish we had a good government who would break the wings of these greedy banks, compelling them to support SMIEs |
Is04970:Say it loud! You know what? I reserve my comment. What will be will be. God above everything |
Guyman02:Lol. Na you sabi their gimmick pass. . The next news will be, Army neutralized several bandits in North West while some bandits also surrendered their arms , all in the name of damage control. Until we breakaway from this people, in the next 20 years, the fight against political insurgency will never end and we'd keep pumping our hard earned resources into fighting it with little or nothing to show for it. But wait, how can those whom they claimed have repented still be this very active? . Only in Nigeria will a terrorist, who prefers dying for the cause he so much believes in, to laying down his arms will be repenting. |
Fare thee well Bishop, a formidable and loyal companion of Madiba. |
I saw this man's picture yesterday posted by someone as one of his memes and something said to me, look at him very well but I didn't understand why. Now I know the reason. Fare thee well Bishop To all reading this and those in our government...what would you be remembered for.. ? Ponder on this |
BrashMan:I had covid last year so I knew it's real. I used to doubt it even making a jest of a doctors who got scared when I told her I was traveling during the heat of it. Whether the NCDC report is factual or not is insignificant. In my opinion, if you don't want the vaccine, be careful and observe the normal protocol. The information is free of charge and you're not being coerced to do so. It's in your best interest. |
akdjr:But you believe what holy Qran says about same Jesus who ascended to heaving would come back again in same manner to judge the world? See, I'd advise you always read your Quran and avoid those who keep telling you what's outside of it. They're the Satan whom you should do away with. Same advice goes to Christians who believe so much in what their pastors say, rather than what the hold bible says. |
BlackfireX:Are you aware that Quran also affirms that Jesus Christ, as ascended to the heaven will come back again in like-manner to judge the world? Go and read your quran. Stop being brainwashed by the people who have nowhere to go. Jannat is far from them. They know this fact themselves . |
Sunday2021:I'm not doubting that. That saying isn't just correct, that's my point. Tell Nigerian government to be sincere in the fight against terror and fish out their known sponsors and our gallant soldiers would stop losing their lives needlessly. Those killed in the battle front between 2011 and now weren't recorded during peace keeping in other countries facing similar wars in the past...was it because their times were up? Nope! People have resigned from military after seeing what boko haram were quipped with and cited loss of interest due to fear for their life and are still living while some of their colleagues who remained had gone. Does it mean their time was up? No . Boko haram had powerful guns and rockets while our military are still using archaic weapons. If boko haram overpowered them in gun battle, would you say their times were up? There are a lot which you could avoid and you'd live. It's a matter of choice . They say abuja-kaduna highway is flooded by boko haram who kidnap on a daily basis but you said, oh well, it's those whose time was up that were killed and you reared head. If you got caught, would people say it was because your time was up by disobeying? Or they say don't drink sniper and you went ahead and drank it when you knew there's no chance of survival once it entered your intestine...You're the architect of your fortune and misfortune. There's nothing like time being up. You can avoid death if you want...it's a matter of choice. As a pilot you know there's a technical issue with the flight but ignored it and flew the plane and the plane crashed and took your life...it's a choice. I flew an aircraft last month from Abuja to lagos. we flew and got half-way only for the pilot to say please we'd have to go back to abuja cos there was a technical issue. Had he continued, saying shebi we done nearly approach lagos, the plane would have crashed. Its a matter of choice. Hezekiah was sick to the point of death and a prophesy came that he would die from that sickness, he prayed to God for healing and he got healed...what if he had just accepted the prophesy of death by saying oh well, I know I'm old enough and have lived well, if death comes its fine. He said no, he must still live and God added up to 15 years more to his years. They say don't join the Nigeria army of today but you refused and say, but there are people there as well who are still living, but the unfortunate happen, which you could have avoided by not joining and still live...would people say it's because your time was up? Those who are still there, do you know what they're doing? They move those who aren't conversant with the terrain to fight boko haram while they shielded and spared their own as some soldiers had confirmed. There are officers from a particular region who never fought any serious fight and are ogas in the military today, dem plenti. was it because their time wasn't up or because they attained those positions by favouritism, nepotism and inequality? There are some risks you don't take when you already know the inherent danger and you'd live. |
minks:This belief is as fake and anything. Does it mean that those killed in the north by bandits and boko haram, including the military and police already had a date with death? Does it mean their times were up?If you can give 5 peoples nipper including yourself and we can record a survivor a few minutes later, then I'd believe your theory. |
OP, how many flight attendants have died since you were born? How many planes had crashed also, compared to the number of military and police killed in Nigeria between 2015 and now alone? The 2 most dangerous jobs in Nigeria are: 1-Military 2-Police |
EddyNumerouno:Visit the ncdc website and you'd know there's nothing misleading in what the OP posted. |
seunlayi:that number is worrisome within 24 hours man. If not contained, it could become double. We've never recorded such since the pandemic started in a single day. That's an official declaration only. Many more must have occurred in hard to reach places but the ncdc couldn't ascertain or record them. Data collection in a country like Nigeria is bizarre. Its also possible that ncdc tried to reduce the figure to that too, in order not to scare people. In USA, the rate of spread is like whirlwind. Even those who have taken full dose are being infected by the new strain. The question is...what's our government doing ? |
Blame it on government for lack of adequate sensitization. If I were buhari, I'd stop all the needless foreign travels and focus on the myriads of issues at home. I'd also stop all political office holders from embarking on foreign trips. We have a lot to fix at home. Somebody else's home shouldn't be attractive to you when yours is in crisis. |
Great man. Wold peace. That's how it should be, if truly we believe in same God. He does this every year |
MorataFC:When last did you hear from him? I hope he still trusts this government he had always defended with passion. |
MsAllison:You've said it all and the whole world already knows this |
Nice one. Someone said shiites love Christianity and share some things in common with the latter, now I believe. That's one of the reasons Sunnis hate them with passion up to Saudi Arabia. They often refer to them as infidel and fake. They too don't believe in Saudi pilgrimage. Buhari and elrufai are sunnis. The attack on them years back led by Buhari and his team was a planned work, just to disrupt their usually peaceful precession, and incriminate them. |
dedons:You fall to rise again and never to fall again. Just check where you got it wrong and mend it. You'd come back stronger. It's very risky to employ these days because nobody wants to work. Rather they want quick money. Each time I collect a resume from any of my relations, trying to see how I could fix them, the first question they'd ask is...uncle, please like how much can they pay me? . When they don't even know the nature or their job description yet. It's getting to a state where prospective employers will be asking for a collateral from guarantors before one could think of employing anyone. So far, we've not had such experience. To an extent , my colleagues( I don't call them staff) are God-fearing and our relationship has been mutual. You can imagine investing in your employees up to sending them on training overseas...Western countries to be precise and now japa afterwards, e go be tinz oo. That's always the case nowadays. OP, whenever I see a story like this, I always back it up with a similar story which ended well, as a means of encouraging people in similar shoes. I have a cousin who travelled to America for the first time early 2000s. He was going to a computer institute. On getting to POE, he was asked the normal question of his mission and that was after he had been admitted. They contacted the training centre who said, due to low turnout of participants, the session was cancelled but they didn't mail my guy to inform him...strange. This was around November that year. They also said the applicant ( my cousin)registered with a fraudulent card and the owner had placed a charge for fraud on the card so, my cousin was taken in for secondary inspection. An agent in Nigeria registered him for the training at New Horizons US. He saw the advert inside a newspaper so he contacted them since he would soon commence his annual leave. He wanted to use the opportunity to do something before resuming. He was earning a good salary here as a mgt trainee in a multinational company. It was his first annual leave ever, so he didn't want to be idle. Long story cut short, this guy dragged it with CBP that he didn't know what they were saying because he paid the right amount in local currency to the agent who registered him for this computer training on Ms Windows Server, 2003 Enterprise Edition. He already had some certification like CompTIA locally. This guy was arrested and dropped inside a cold cell. Later he was deported to Nigeria. On arrival he went to the agent's office. The place had been closed. A couple of other candidates too got involved in the mess so the agent had to japa. My cousin went back to American embassy a year later but this time, he had arranged payment directly by himself . On approaching the VO, his offence was read out to him from the computer, to which he all denied and explained what happened. The VO now said he'd been banned permanently from entering US from the information he had on the system. He wanted to commit suicide. I called him and calmed him down. He listened to me , embraced God and moved on. I took him to one of my pastors who said he shouldn't worry that he should keep praying and the road would be clear again. But he would pray very hard . A few years later, my cousin was having a programme to attend in Washington DC so he applied. The man of God said the right time had come and his visa would be approved. He was in doubt he told him to have faith because that's what was revealed to him. He gave him 3 days to fast and pray all alone with some words of God to back it up. He appeared and the VO engaged him for over 25 minutes while my guy was sweating as he was explaining things. Those on queue behind him were already complaining...you know our people and impatience. The VO now said there was a mark of ineligibility on his profile which only the attorney-general of the United States could remove. He said but he would apply for a waiver on his behalf but he wouldn't know how soon the outcome would be but they'd send him an email once a decision was reached. Barely 4 weeks after the appearance he received a mail on a Friday morning titled Lagos NIV and his passport number. He called me and I told him to open it. Behold his waiver of ineligibility had been approved. He was now asked to send his passport through DHL and fill a form which came with the mail and send altogether. 4 days later, his visa was approved. Though he missed the Washington DC yearly event. He used the visa the following year and since then, it's been easy entry and exit for him. You too would bounce back OP. Wipe your tears. |
DubaiLandLord:Had north been the region where oil was first discovered in Nigeria, they'd have left a long time ago. I've got proofs to back this |
See Nigeria president talk recklessly, SMH. I'm not surprised. Buhari doesn't know how to talk. His media aides really tried by managing him this far. |
This tin dey town like no man's business oo. Please stay safe people. Our government no send anyone oo. You're the source of your own safety and wellness. As you can see, there's not much awareness and sensitization from them. If you're still scared of taking the vaccine, why not just observe the non-pharmaceutical protocol? It's for your own good |
