True. I remember an evening in 2019 as i was walking down the road leading to Miami Beach and i heard davido's song at a club. I was thinking the club was operated by a black or Nigerian. To satisfy my suspicion, I entered the place, only to see full whites there. They were dancing like no man's business. In PA, there is a group from a tribe called pensylvanian dutch, who tagged themselves TeamDavido |
US, oga of all countries for planet earth |
But buhari never thought of proscribing them terrorists like he quickly did ipob. Terrorists bring down planes which bandits had done, they kill which bandits had done. They're mainly an Islamic sect like bandits, they also behead and kidnap like bandits. Meanwhile we know they're the same boko haram but they still keep lying by calling them all manners of names. These inequality and injustice will break Nigeria faster than anticipated. May God rest the souls of the dead. |

You meant those imposed youths by godfathers? No sensible youth would behave like Yahaya bello does, the guy who was imposed on the good people of kogi nah. Is seyi makinde not a youth? What of Donald Duke who became governor at a youthful age? They weren't imposed on their people by you guys. No godfather to hamper them. Tambuwal wasn't imposed on anyone as apc governor. I wouldn't know if he's still wearing the same spirit he exhibited in his first tenure now that he's joined the pdp but as apc governor, I saw development in sokoto...these were governors who did well as youths. You can only perform as a leader when the masses put you there because you'd only be answerable to them. You need to see the way they're lashing out at ogun governor. I don't know why the people of ogun behave as if they didn't know the arrangement which brought dapo abiodun to power. Any youths who rose to power on the wings of godfatherism will always be answerable to them. Ogun don enter one chance from day one. Tinubu won't allow that guy to do anything, same way he's hampering sanwoolu, osun governor and kayode fayemi. All of them govern their respective states from lagos and take orders from Tinubu. They don't stay in their states of jurisdiction. Any youth voted into power by the people would do well. |
Nonexisting1:It's just like asking same question as...where did the Egyptians get the chemicals used in embalming their mummies over 5,000 years ago which still kept most of their pharaos' bodies intact today as seen in their museums after they were exhumed, including Pharaoh Ramses who reigned over 3000 years ago? |
Homeboiy:Even Benin and Oduduwa bronze heads which were made over 600 years before taken away in the 18th century, which they are planning to return to Nigeria too are elements of lies, yeye dey smell all over you. Those archeologists are not like some of you who can lie at the slightest opportunity. Una type plenti for Nigeria |
This too is possible in Lagos too, but that would be after those using our revenues to buy jets have left our political space. |

Hunting for Umahi enemies in action. take a leaf from south west leaders and the amotekun oga gomina |
kingsceedon:Leave our brown roofs alone and worry about the way your people are killing their leaders needlessly. Worry about your botched Ebube Agu. Also worry about your Ebonyi governor who speaks from both sides of his mouth. I'm watching him live on channelstv now spewing trash as usual. Thanks to our leaders. South west would have been worst than south east and other parts of Nigeria by now. |
ruggedtimi:Yes..Ijaw, Edo and other minority ethic groups in the south and some parts of the North like kaduna South aren't discriminating. |
TotoGame:5 years indeed. Maybe you probably were confined in one place as a teen. Next time you visit, go to the following popular ibadan men's family houses.. Late ajimobi( his family house is as old as man yet he didn't touch it despite his wealth). Its located at oke ado Late lam adesina , former gov of the state has their own in molete Gov Ladoja's family house too Current olubadan and the past ones family houses. Former governor olunloyo, dad of the popular female blogger had their own in molete, close to Late adedibu house. They dared not pull them down else , they'd be changed to court. Yes, homeless and lazy people living in those houses does not mean the descendants don't have money to replace the so called brown roofs. They cherish it a lot. Mufu lanihun...if you truly lived in ibadan, you know or may have heard about him. Despite his wealth he lived in his agbo ile, same brown roof. |
neyoohhh:I don't agree with you. Go to Oyo Alaafin and see those buildings and rich men and women who rose from there, including bode Thomas...yes same bode Thomas of sturulere. As someone who grew up in Ibadan I know a lot of them. The following bindings and agbo-iles are covered by brown roofs today and those who rose from those family houses are super rich and famous. Late gov Ajimobi's family brown roofed house at oke ado ibadan Chief omololu olunloyo, same dad of the popular female blogger at Molete Gov Ladoja's family house Late Gov Lam Adesina in molete, ibadan Late Chief Awolowo family house at oke Bola ibadan where he also built his upstairs along the road Adebisi Idi Ikan, the richest man in the whole of Nigeria in his time at Idi Ikan ibadan. The 99 room house is still there today despite the affluence the family was surrounded with. I can go on and on. They rather left them untouched for generations to come rather than pull it down. Those who tried to do that ended up in court. I haven't even mentioned the olubadan's Palace, the man who rides in limousine .We yorubas are synonymous with that. Go to Benin, you'd find a similar trend there. Whereas in places like South East, you hardly can find such. They'd been pulled down. We yorubas aren't like that. We protect our heritage. By the time the Europeans return those bronze heads stolen from us, Nigerians would be wowed. Benin even had a larger percentage of those artefacts. Whereas, other tribes don't have such. Those bronze heads are over 600 years old before stolen by Europeans in the 18th century. |
ThEGodFaThEr106:I grew up in Ibadan , also schooled there. No single politician, including late Ajomobi, whose family house ( agbo-ile) I don't know. Ajimobi's family house is at oke ado opposite liberty stadium junction. He even built a mosque there and an ICT Centre. Would you say someone like him couldn't have pulled down the buildings and erected modern ones? I'm not sure you're a yoruba person. Stop saying what you don't know. Where you lived or were born was a typical village in ogun and we have such typical building as found around there in virtually every region in Nigeria today. That's not what I'm saying or type of building I'm talking about. Omololu olunloyo, former oyo governor had their family houses at molete. They didn't pull them down despite their affluence. They're a heritage not a sign or display of poverty as you wrongly posited. Go to Mapo Hall, the oldest parliamentarian Hall in the whole of Nigeria. It's in ibadan. It was recently they renovated it with billions of naira. The hall had been there for centuries. Despite renovating it, the roof was left untouched. Is that too a display of poverty? There was a man called Adebisi Idi Ikan who was a wealthy man in his time( Google it) He built a house of 99 rooms, the biggest single house in Nigeria as at that time. The house is still there till date, standing. The roofs weren't touched, despite the wealthy status of the family...would you also call that a sign of poverty? Go to Alaafin of oyo's Palace or olubadan's Palace at oja oba in ibadan, the buildings are as old as man yet they ride in limousine...are their brown roofs a sign or display of poverty. In some tribes , those buildings would have been pulled down |
DOTian:Did they catch them using a real CCTV? Make dem leave innocent people alone jare |
ThEGodFaThEr106:They left and protected Those house on purpose. As brown and old as the roofs are, they're not leaking. Those who wanted to build new houses moved to places like bodija and ring road to do so. Anyone who pulls down the house or removes the roof would end up in court. They call it agbo-ile and are proud of them even though the rich amongst them don't live there . |
DoggoneDogg:You cam take that to the bank. Prove me wrong mah. Then state capital was like the Abuja of today, centuries ago where everyone was excited to visit....the erstwhile largest city in the whole of Africa |
When Yahaya bello had said all is fine with kogi people? Useless fool. The way God had been exposing his bad governance recently is amazing |
JAOS:The heritage of yoruba people. Those brown roofs had been in place for centuries, at a time when only one % of Nigerian houses were covered by bamboos. Look at those upstairs...those could only be found in ancient cities in Yorubaland. I've not found such elsewhere in Nigeria in such a large qty. Certainly, African civilisation started in Yorubaland especially, Oyo |
Kogi that's safe as anything according to Yahaya bello? Na fake news jare |
PotatoSalad:SMH! Small boy can't recognise a charm, he's now calling it ugwu leaf...that's my adage in response to your narrative. |
Where exactly will it come from? Lool. Not even after increasing their school fees would this happen. Have they resolved the ASUU agelong issues yet? |
PotatoSalad:You know nothing about life. Smh! |
The third fight, originally set for July 24, had to be rescheduled for October 9 after Tyson Fury contracted Covid Deontay Wilder has vowed to produce "a devastating knockout" on Saturday night and regain his WBC title belt from Tyson Fury as the two towering heavyweights meet for a third time. The pair fought to a split draw in December 2018, with Fury usurping the title from Wilder here in Las Vegas 20 months ago by seventh-round stoppage. Neither man has been in the ring since last February. "My trainer, Malik Scott, has brought things out of me that no one has seen before," Wilder said on Monday night. "This is a trilogy and boxing is winning in this fight. It's going to be a good one while it lasts. But I will win by devastating knockout. The fight will not go the distance. It’s been a long time coming, going through a lot of obstacles and it has been an emotional roller coaster, as it has been for a lot of people in the world during this time." Wilder added that he was always confident the fight would go ahead, despite talk of an undisputed world title fight between Fury and Anthony Joshua. That was until June this year when a judge ruled in the USA, through an arbitration case, that Wilder had the contractual right to a rematch. "It was all propaganda - and they both knew it. People went on the first thing they heard. These days people want to be first to say things, even if they aren’t correct. As long as I knew I had that contract the talk of them fighting did not bother me," explained the American. Wilder also gave his view on Joshua's defeat to Oleksandr Usyk 10 days ago in London. "Styles make fights and Usyk had his struggles with Chazz Witherspoon and Dereck Chisora before he fought Joshua. With Joshua, Usyk just had his number at this point in time and I think he'll have his number second time around - but who knows, this is heavyweight boxing." As for the third fight with Fury, Wilder added: "I’ve knocked him out once before, he knows I'm the most dangerous heavyweight in the world, I just have to be perfect for two seconds. When you have devastating power you are always going to be leader of the pack. When you have power you are never out of the fight. I have moved forward, I know what I am - and I’m glad it happened. "It wasn’t a knockout, it was a stoppage because someone threw in the towel in my team. I can't wait to put it right. Stay tuned, you watched then and you should watch again. It's not going to go the distance. I can't see it. I want it way more than him. He hasn’t trained as hard as I have trained. For that reason I can't see it going the distance. They come to watch knockouts in the heavyweight division and I’m going to deliver. I can't wait." What is it? The third fight between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury, who will battle for the WBC heavyweight title. Fury was on track to meet Anthony Joshua for the undisputed heavyweight crown late this summer in Saudi Arabia, but the biggest fight in British boxing history collapsed when a judge in the US ruled Wilder had the contractual right to a third contest with the 'Gypsy King'. When is it? The fight was set to take place on Saturday, July 24 but will now take place on October 9. Where is it? Fury-Wilder 3 will be held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. How to watch Fury-Wilder III on TV The trilogy fight between Fury and Wilder will be broadcast exclusively on BT Sport Box Office. If you don't want to pay, or if you want running text commentary of the fight, bookmark this page and return on the evening for our live blog. What happened in the first two fights? Fury and Wilder fought to a disputed draw in their first bout back in 2018, but Fury dominated the rematch from the outset and stopped the Bronze Bomber in the seventh round to inflict Wilder's first career loss. What are the fighters saying? Tyson Fury has delayed his second Covid-19 jab until after his fight against Deontay Wilder, claiming he is "not in the risk-taking game". The World Boxing Council heavyweight champion confirmed he had the first vaccine shot in the summer, but said he did not want to risk any side-effects ahead of the Las Vegas showdown on October 9. Their third fight was postponed in July after Fury contracted the virus, and he appears to have been unnerved by scare stories that the jab could affect his preparation for the bout. "You never can tell," Fury told BoxingScene.com. "There’s so much bull---- with all this, stories that go around. You never know what’s the truth and what’s not. So, I’m not in the risk-taking game. "I’m in a life-threatening job, where you can get your lights knocked out with one punch. If [a second shot] was to affect me in any way, then I’d never live with myself before a big fight." Fury went on to clarify that he would have a second jab "when the fight’s over" and "I’ll have time to recover from it all". Experts insist the jab is safe and Fury added that Covid had "killed a lot of people in the world and if the vaccine helps, then get it done, you know?". What are their records? Tyson Fury Total fights 31 Wins 30 Wins by KO 21 Losses 0 Draws 1 Deontay Wilder Total fights 44 Wins 42 Wins by KO 41 Losses 1 Draws 1 What are the latest odds? Fury win - 4/11 Wilder win - 5/2 Draw - 28/1 (All odds via Oddschecker) What fights are on the undercard? Fury vs Wilder undercard action is likely to kick off around 1am BST. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/boxing/2021/10/05/tyson-fury-vs-deontay-wilder-3-iii-fight-when-tv-channel-prediction/amp/ |
Government belongs to the youths who form the larger percentage of our population and not the politicians who are on the minority side. The earlier our politicians realise this and tackle the challenges they face headon, the better. |
