PeaceJoyLove:I kuku understand all you're saying. The crypto you mentioned isn't synonymous with flutterwaves please note and it was never mentioned in the newspost, that crypto was going to partner with them in anyway. The 3bn usd mentioned isn't for their Nigeria base alone. They render lots of services and one of it is online payments intermediaries for their clients , most of whom do not operate within the Nigerian space. Flutterwaves hq isn't in Nigeria too. Twitter, PayPal, Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, etc do not operate from Nigeria as well. I repeat, in the case of flutterwaves, all what the government or the CBN can control is spending limit on debit/credit cards on online transactions and this is not peculiar to flutterwaves . For instance, the cbn could say, every card holder must not spend beyond 300usd in a month on online-based transactions. Even if the government clamps down on flutterwaves activities in Nigeria which is unlikely except they violate our laws or dent govt image like twitter, it's only going to have an insignificant effect on global transactions done on flutterwaves platforms because the tech company's scope is global. Despite twitter ban, millions of Nigerias still access their twitter accounts everyday, except the VPNs isn't in operation again. If you have a serious business to do on twitter and its your source of living, there's no stopping you. If you had said flutterwaves can be sanctioned by the CBN, should they violate the set rules or law of the land, if and only if they operate like remita, Paystack, specta, etc , which flutterwaves has interest in habdling locally, I'd say yes! But on online transactions which is as global as Facebook and other techs, no! The CBN or Nigeria govt can only limit spend by customers on their cards for online transitions which isn't only peculiar to flutterwaves and if they shut their local office due to any reasons, while Nigerians would still bypass govt sanctions, the rest of the world, including our neighbouring Benin Republic will still patronise them. |
PeaceJoyLove:So, if you pay for Facebook subscription, twitter subscription, etc does the cbn stop you? When you pay for your hotel reservations abroad, does cbn stop you from making such payment on booking.com...and where did you hear of crypto as part of flutterwaves clients or partners in this news post? The only power the cbn has is limit your spend on your card. They can't stop you from paying with your card( either credit or debit ) online. The virtual visa and MS Cards to be introduced would even facilitate all these payments. Stop thinking upside down |
Haryour12:Dem no fit. Its a global tech company. They don't need CBN to operate rather, they operate like CBN because clients pay through their platforms to third parties. Each time payment is made to face book for instance, flutterwave collects and remits to Facebook just the way we have remita in naija. CBN doesn't have power on this. |
adefitim:You can say that again. |
udemzeus:Cos banditry isn't being discussed here and ransom to be paid. That place will be worse than sodom and gomorrah in near future, to describe its ruins. I pray we'd have split from them before this happens. |

Huum Lauds which development initiatives? |
Fake news. They've been technically defeated teey-teey. I appeal to our youths to not join the military at this time. No amount of money can equate life. Enough said |
Oodja:I was wondering cos all his children are well educated, comfortable and of good manners. I know some of them personally, though I'm not from ondo |

seguno2: Yes, you garrit. The son of Uwais, former AGF who identified with isil and got killed outside Nigeria comes to mind as well. |
Na Once chance be dis o, one chance |
Sad, this guys were always riding in limo when their dad was alive. Morals...no matter how esteemed your position is in life, always remember to train your children in the manner you were once trained which earned you the stepping stone, becoming great in life, so that once you depart this world, they'd be strong enough and resilient to weather the storm of life. Sadly, this isn't peculiar to a particular tribe. Once wealth had covered our face, we soon forget our beginnings and how we got there, now leaving our children lazy and vulnerable. Too bad. I also remember the Ojukwu Chukwumerije, Uwais and Abdmutallab families... Late Olateru Olagbegi was an influential and highly educated monarch who was surrounded by wealth. What a pity. I also remember one of the famous sons of MKO, Kola's younger brother from another mother who was charged for fraud a few years ago. He was allegedly involved in a scan of less than 40m naira, the money he could dash his gf when his dad was alive. |
A man identified as Steve Ronin has found an old abandoned millionaires mansion with luxury items in it According to the video creator, the property has 100s of cars, beautiful furniture as well as luxury furniture Said to have been abandoned in the 1900s, the mansion still looks strong despite its scattered state. A man has stunned the internet with a video capturing an old abandoned mansion that he recently found. Letty Cecilia Zamora-Serujo thought: "There were a few houses abandoned because of black mold and the owners couldn't take anything because everything was infected and it was deadly. Be careful, these places were abandoned for a reason. " Frii Holike wrote: "Vanity upon vanity all is vanity. No matter how much we acquire in this world we will all leave it and go. The only thing that can last is when we have Jesus. I was a good video to watch. Kept me thinking. Thanks. https://web.facebook.com/watch/?extid=CL-UNK-UNK-UNK-AN_GK0T-GK1C&v=371286064589871

NwaNimo1: I expected to see your usual meme of a guy beating his chest immediately after coming out of a vehicle. More defection looms because EFCC don dey compile list of looters ahead of their handover in March 2022. |

Nackzy:It's been their business from time immemorial otherwise, kidnappers wouldn't be operating in a few meters away from the police checkpoint and they not do anything about it. |
Oluolad86:send me a mail to imperialflavour@aol.com |
Make their government nor see this oo . Na serious sanction you go get . I remember the day I went to see a friend who works in nazareth correction centre in texas. See deers on both sides playing . At times, vehicles do hit them while crossing the road but you dare not stop to pick it. It's a great offence |
Oluolad86:It's never too late with God. All you need is have faith, without which anything can happen. Please what's your name...? I'd pray with you and give you feedback . |
Oluolad86:I just replied to your post on the other thread this morning. In as much as I know in some cases that, surgery can correct any heart-related issues, I know someone who would heal you without collecting a farthing. His name is Jesus. People with worse situation that I know had received divine healing. By the way, you mentioned OAUTHC in this post...the renowned cardio-thoracic surgeon who performs the open heart surgery in oauthc is my friend. His name is Dr Onakpoya. When next you visit, please ask after him. They have achieved huge success than any other health institutions in Nigeria and are probably the cheapest. Good luck to you. |
Oluolad86:Contact His Love Foundation or MTN Foundation. Google these NGOs for details. If you can bring your case to God, that surgery may not be eventually needed. I trust God that much. Good luck to you. |
And his son or daughter should be among |
