nairavsdollars:See consolation, hahaha. You're comparing a European University with ours abi? How many of our universities, both public and privately-owned made the best 500 in the world...just asking ni oo? I don't know the yardstick used in measuring your assessment though. |
He must be from ekiti, from the name. Where ekiti people they get dat kain brain from, still dey surprise pesin |
Sadly, they're now members of same party. All these politicians need to be taught a one-time lesson. |
friday2011:Yours is a myopic thinking. There are millions of Muslims in America who aren't threatened, marginalised or stigmatised for practising their religion rather, it's mostly the Muslim extremists who go to public places to wield knives on the people who accommodate and feed them. They cover heads, wear hijabs even built mosques and nobody complains. Such can only happen in Western countries. America is a western country who had managed and maintained peace in Afghanistan for nearly 20 years. What you see today is as a result of USA's withdrawal of their troops. Who born taliban when the troops were there ? Stop thinking upside down. |
AuthegaPRIMUS:Not the type of war perpetrated by Islamist terrorists. Theirs never end. |
Rubbish. We say let's go back to true federalism they're talking of FCT mayor. Una never serious but by faya by force, una go succumb. Set awon ole |
BigRocky:They don't repent till they die. Maybe they just arranged for these ones and paraded them to prove to gullible Nigerians that they've truly surrendered. This is what I call "cashing out" mission. Their members still killed an unspecified number of Nigerians on Saturday night in the north. Terrorists don't repent. Its like asking them to renounce Islam. |
Typicool8:How was she thief? Or your masters roped her in, just to have their way because they say their religion forbids a woman to be their head? If she was a thief as you hysterically posited, why was she absolved of all changes after they had successfully had their way? |
Yea. Not somebody with a cow brain who would only be preaching cattle cowlony to us
|
Awon eleyii ti japa. They'd never attempt to enter that country again until things normalise in future. I'd call them the unfortunate few. |
Mokason288:WORD OF THE DAY! |
JosephXavier:Simple. It's a family affair lool. Those guys are his brothers |
Baawaa:What are you talking about? Had America remained in Afghanistan, would taliban have won the war? Did they win while they( america) were still on ground? Your comment is meaningless. The narrative is simple...any nation which America withdraws her support from would be in a disarray. Let them pull out of Saudi Arabia let's see if people would be going to hajj ever again. The Islamist terrorists operate like a sect and do not represent the real islam . They're( Americans) the reason the world is still this peaceful |
Nigeria's scenario is totally different. It will be impossible for any Islamist to have their way here. What's the Population of muslim to Christians in Nigeria compared to what's obtainable in Afghanistan where Muslim population is over 90%? In lagos alone, Christian/Muslim population is like 70/30. A Muslim friend differed when debating this sometime ago. I now sat him down, called his attention to number of Muslims in state schools compared to that of Christians and number of Muslims in private schools and their Christian counterparts. I now took him on a walk to a few streets in lagos where we counted churches and the number of mosques relative to size. Eventually, he concurred though reluctantly. What am I driving at? Religious war can't prevail here in Nigeria. It will hit Brickwall down south. I'm not biased against any religion here. I'm Nigerian first, then my religion follows. You and I deserve some respect for whatever religion we practise. When we get to heaven, we will then know which is superior and which is not. Amazingly, nobody would be judged by the religion he or she practices but by our deeds while on earth, either good or bad. There's no religion in heaven. Nigeria isn't Afghanistan or any other place where Islamist terrorists can hold sway. |
Lastmankc:She'd have been beheaded right away...that's the only aspect I don't like about them. |
nokspos:Well. I've read about them times and again. They say they want their own government, the locals too clamoured for this because they felt opressed. They wanted an emirate like the UAE as an Islamic country. They wouldn't have succeeded without the backing of the citizens...can't you see them in their native attires? They wanted a style of govt which conforms to their religion and tradition and they got it... |
Good. Thanks to the democrat-led government of America for making this happen by initiating the withdrawal of troops by Obama which was later perfected by Biden-led govt. The voice of the majority must not be suppressed, it must be allowed to take its full course any day. Such a feat is imminent in Nigeria too but it will take a different turn, not by way of the barrel of a gun. The peaceful end sars protest of last October was a proof. The weakest beings on earth are the politicians. Once all the state actors backing them are weakened , they pick race as seen in the case of the afghan president. We will leave this union sooner than anticipated. Oduduwa must come to pass, whether they like it or not. We need to move forward too. Happy true independence, good people of Afghanistan. |
mecussey:Lol. It won't even happen. Those clamouring for his presidency are dreamers I'm a yoruba man. Taliban style won't even happen here. We're a distinctively multi ethnic formation of a country. Na split we go split las las regardless of who becomes next president, it will happen. We're tired of this fake one Nigeria spirit which had drawn us backwards for nearly a century. The agitations are already on. Oduduwa nation on my mind |
Authoreety:Which shege are you talking about? USA allowed this to happen deliberately by withdrawing their troops from the country and the moment they did, taliban swept into action. The Biden administration felt there was no point suppressing the will of the majority so, the voice of the people must prevail. Obama first made a move to withdraw the troops,Biden only perfected it. With US troops still on ground in Afghanistan, dem no born taliban well to gbemu. This is what's going to happen in Nigeria too but it would take a different turn. We are splitting here instead. It will happen sooner than anticipated. The last year's end sars protest made me believe so. With one voice, we can achieve our goals. Politicians are the weakest beings on earth. Once you capture the state actors defending them, they'd flee, same way Afghanistan president did. |

If you must eat , ask for disposable utensils or you wash the reusable utensils by yourself with soap and clean water, now clean it with saviet. |
I feel like vomiting |
Buckeyemedia1:So, since secession wasn't recognised under the nigerian constitution, why then have you been busy ignorantly spewing bunkum on this thread? Under which constitution is secession recognised as a treasonable office? You see where you shot yourself in the leg? Just keep kwayet in Patience Jonathan's voice. |
Buckeyemedia1:Yes talk is cheap but in our words , we value talk...reasonable ones and they're very expensive to us. Babangida also said talk was cheap when we we were clamouring for democracy, he even made a proverb that, if he woke up and discovered it was yoruba shouting, he would go back to sleep...we achieved the democracy in his very eyes against all odds. He even said he was going to step aside but now, we've kept him where he belongs. Abacha said the same thing that talk was cheap and he was going to transit to democracy and there was nothing anyone could do about it, we still taught him a lesson of his life..make I no talk much on him mata. We said presidency must be zoned to the south west ahead of 1999 military handover, we achieved it Now we are saying it's gonna be zoned to our region again, no Jupiter would change it, if only Nigeria still stands before 2023. Now, we said we wanted our own security outfit. Your masters in their usual manner , shouted, threatened , wailed but you and I know that amotekun is here to stay. You see on this secession matter, it's far beyond what you're seeing because it will happen and nobody can do anything to stop it. It's better we yorubas don't start a cause...once yoruba begins agitating for something, that thing is as good as done already, even though it may seem long. We won't back off in as much as its the voice of the majority, until we achieve it . It would have been better we didn't agitate to secede at the beginning. It's too late to cry boy. Lastly, yoruba is the only tribe in Nigeria upholding the unity of this country, even sacrificed our life for her...the last time I checked , the north said they wanted an Islamic nation which was why boko haram was formed. |
Their headache |
Buckeyemedia1:Stop embarrassing yourself. Grab a copy of the Nigerian consideration and read. Stop posting ignorantly. Secession isn't a reasonable offence. We're not meant to be married to each other for life. Be guided. |
Buckeyemedia1:Do you have a copy of the Nigerian Constitution? That's my response to the trash you just put up. We're learned people. We will teach your masters in the best language they understand, just the way we did on amotekun, which eventually silenced them in spite of their empty mouse, echoed to ban or outlaw it, should they try the nonsense. |
For committing which offence exactly...killing fulani herders or their cow? Yorubas aren't cowards. You ain't do nothing |
Almaigaa:Our people to including hausa dey do drugs. No tribe is spared in this game |
Jostoman:the best comment read today |
modsfucker:Yea. Politicians are the weakest people on earth. Once you overpower the so called state actors they're counting on, dem go flee in the exodus manner. |
