See clean environment even glittering at night....ordinary Benin Republic
I remember a day I visited Obama beach, close to the American embassy in Benin Republic. I felt like I was in Europe. From there I went to have fun at a beautiful restaurant called festival des glasses. All those who destroyed this country with nepotism, tribalism, religion, corruption won't go unpunished. Right here on earth will they nurse one terminal ailment or the other which will eventually take their lives and everything they've used the proceeds of the above to acquire or garner will vanish in their very eyes.
See our youths nowadays...they're victims of the ineptitude of the so-called leaders. Growing up, we saw education as competitions. We all aspired to graduate with a 2.1. What I read today on the chests of those young graduates which they called a sign out statement nearly made me weep. Obviously they're going through hell in their various universities, with seemingly unending strike and a harsh academic environment...the children of those who destroyed this country are schooling in Best universities and colleges abroad with the money meant for development of our education and health sectors back home, which they stole. These are the people some myopic youths still worship and call their godfathers. God will ask them before they enter their graves.
Anyone who still believes Nigeria is giants of Africa should visit cotonou where there's orderliness and rule of law as evident on people's faces. The moment you cross seme or idiroko border, even nature would tell you that you've just left something strange behind you |

It was orchestrated by the same evil man who ordered the military to go to lekki and start shooting peaceful protesters which was initially denied by sanwoolu when confronted, before the military told Nigerians the truth and sanwoolu said the call was made by the power that was beyond him. He was denied clearance recently because of the manner DSS invaded the house of Sunday Igboho who never killed a single cow. He's using the global economic summit as a means of entering UK this time. Monogamy:

Igboho and his lawyers are not smart.. If he is repatriated to Nigeria, Buhari can't do anything to him than to put him in prison while his court case go on, within 6 months he would be granted bail and life goes on.
Should he decides to remain in Benin, FG would only pressurize Benin republic to enact their law about the fake documents Igboho used to obtain Benin Republic passport.. No way he won't spend 5 years in Benin prison.
Common sense shouldn't only be common in this case, it should always be available.. Let him remain in Benin. Benin has clean human rights record unlike Nigeria. He would be released soon just like his wife. Benin is part of our ancestral land and he'salready being treated fine. Buhari is a wicked soul. Have you forgotten how any years sambo dasuki spent in prison? What happened at last to the case? Elzazaky nko? |

The lier governor has started what they know how to do best. They've failed to realise that they've reduced Nigeria to nothing among the comity of nations. How can a country who claims to be a leader in West Africa close a border for 2 good years, punishing a small country from surviving economically. Theirs would be a mission to failure. I wish them luck.

COMPAQ: Besides the guy selling the inverter thing would never have got to that stage if he had never traveled abroad in the first place. If he had stayed back, then that opportunity would likely never had come. He would never have had the contact with that American company and with poor salary in Nigeria he'd likely not have the capital to do that business. So going to America is what helped him. I'm not against going to America. Oyedepo never said he didn't go to America. He has church branches there. Go and learn opportunities, but come back and put it to use. That's my point. The speed of your progress would shock you, if you come back. Even the few multinationals we have around would consider those with a foreign degree more than home-baked graduates when employing. No place like naija. Forget all those hitches. They won't last forever. I only blame our youths for allowing those criminals who call themselves leaders to manipulate their brains in every election. Buhari shouldn't have been allowed to taste that position in the first place. He would be rated the most-failed leader after exit of power |

But wait, can't you see the level of poverty and suffering in this country? You can't look down upon or blame anyone looking for better opportunities. true but many would have been more successful back home. I'm on oyedepo's side on this. I took same bold step but never regretted it. I'm an embodiment of God's favour and grace. Shebi we go the America sef, but I chose to return home after my program. I don't know if the highest earning Nigerian living overseas can match me in revenues monthly. I give them money each time I go America. Ordinary 100 dollar is like giving them millions. I had shared stories of my life and that of my uncle who used to work at Walmart in the past as stores officer. He shunned the flashy lifestyles over there and came back home, to introduce a solar inverter manufactured by trace engineering, USA which later became Xantrex. His friends booed him, they said village people had come calling, that he's been bewitched. This man today is a billionaire. He had a major leap in his business when the atm revolution erupted in Nigeria, he became favourite of old generation banks including the CBN for installation of inverters to power all their atms nationwide. Na foreigners like Indians for chop the whole money clean mouth, come pay our graduates employed with peanut.
Nigeria is a land of honey and milk. Na those in government God go punish for discouraging foreign investors from coming in through their selfish ends. Where I've stepped my feet into, none of our leaders' children had had the opportunity to reach, in their entire life. I've been with Barak Obama, courtesy my profession in DAR Hall( Daughters of American Revolution Hall) near the white House in DC.
Do we have challenges? Yes, we do. Are they surmoutable? Yes they are. Buhari can't be in government forever. If pool comes to shove, we break up and we bear our fathers' names . We can still work together as neighbours in areas where each has a comparative advantage. I have a friend who had his masters and PhD in a university in NC, where he lives. Recently, I saw him posting tokunbo cars on his status for sale...an associate Prof selling used cars...what a life! Back home he'd be an oga in one of our universities where his service would be appreciated. |

Pls lagosians help me with answer on my thread. https://www.nairaland.com/6663885/how-much-cheapest-house-rent There's nothing like emeny of progress anywhere. Lagos would have been far better without Tinubu today. He's mortgaged lagos to himself and family. We will take all that back soonest. I wish our uncle pa jakande had the opportunity of governing our state for 8 years. You'd have seen development and screamed. Tinubu came and destroyed everything. No governor in the history of Nigeria till today had outperformed pa jakande in housing and urban development within such a short time. Had buhari not stopped him from constructing the lagos lite rail in the 80s, transport issues would have been long resolved by now. Tinubu has a stake in all the BRT you see today. He's in health ( BT Diagnostic Centre inside ayinke house/LASUTH belongs to him.) He's in state's revenues/finances( Alphabeta) , constriction ( Hitech) , even used our money to float first nation Airways which later folded up. He owns 3 private jets from lagos proceeds and if you challenge him, he sends his thugs to silence you. His hands are also entrenched in lagos politics, collecting a cut from our senators and reps. No wonder they haven't been able to deliver in their various constituents and nobody dares challenge them. It's a matter of time, he'd soon become irrelevant. Tinubu came from osun and silenced the core lagos indigenes, using all manners of charms and evil powers to have his way. Just last week, his family took over a property in surulere and nobody dares say pim. Google is your friend if in doubt. His wife is a senator for more than the agreed terms but you can't challenge him. His daughter is the iyaloja General. He won't win ordinary primary , let alone win elections. We have great , honest and mannered yorubas, should our tribe be asked to produce the next president, not someone like Tinubu. He lacks the decorum. |
