with all the juicy positions, they're still abjectly poor and no thanks to their selfish and lavish leaders. When you give a northerner 1m naira, and give a southerner same amount, the southern guy would invest that 1m naira while his northern counterpart would lavish all the money in one week max and say, allah knows tomorrow and allah would provide even though they finish all they're given today which is always their mentality. They've forgotten same allah is an organised God. The difference is what we see as development between the 2 regions.

Again, there are many of their women who would have been breadwinners and blessings to many homes but because they don't allow them to work, their men end up killing their destiny forever. Many of their women would have been successful in trades, education and ideas as we have down south. The level of poverty wouldn't have been so much as seen in the north today because if the husband doesn't have, the wife would have supported but in their own case, if the husband has nothing to put at the table, the wife looks on. Some women would have been the ones helping their poor husbands pay school fees of children, including house rent and nobody would have noticed cos of their hard work and innovative ideas. What a pity

Waw! I remember Tetrazzini in those days. Their chicken was superb, just like that of sweet sensation. Suddenly , this man closed down some of his outlets just like munchies and chiquitta did, leaving only the one at ajao Estate junction operational . Maybe he has also closed down that one, who knows? That reminds me, where are those foolish boko haram terrorists saying western education is a sin? Someone should remind them that the Arabic numerals of 1, 2, 3, 4,...in use today didn't originate from the west but adopted by them to form what Bokonharam ignorantly term, Western education. What a wrong teaching and belief they've got.

Western education is a fusion of African, Asian, Arabic and western ideas. The formalin used in embalming today originated from Egypt, same with architecture, sculpture, marble works and what have you. In fact, the oldest form of education originated from egypt( not by the present occupants of Egypt who migrated from the Arab world after ottoman turks empire subdued them). Can we also say Egypt is also a western country? Awon oniranu with diluted teachings.
