It's not an exerggeration that northern Nigeria remains a backward region in Nigeria when compared to other regions of nigeria.This is shameful but it's the plain truth and it must be told to their face wether they like it or north because it's for their own developments.
northern Nigeria states must abolish the following customs if they are to make any meaniful progress because if these things are removed from the north,they can never make meaniful progress even in the next century.
Illiteracy and refusal of northern children attained Western education
Alhmajiri system(child begging)
Religious fanatism
Abetting of fellow corrupt northeners in power
Early child marriage
Criminality and terrorism
Laziness(always ready to shift blames instead of taking responsibility)
Drug abuse
General distrust of Southerners and non Muslims


Currently northern Nigeria have the highest number of school aged children dropout in the world today and it's the poverty capital in Nigeria and Africa this is attributed to the vices listed above.we must help our northern brothers to make changes even UAE Saudi Arabia had all make changes.

I remember the zabamari slaughter which involved over 100 farmers. They came and said it was 43 people who were slaughtered by boko haram. Whereas, in Saudi Arabia known to be the pillar of Islam, their women now do taxi business.

I only bother about the effects of all the vices going on in the north over other regions because they're not bearing the consequences of their actions alone. All those ransome and ammunition monies are our collective rights which always end up in the hands of the north and those terrorists. That money would have been used to develop all the regions, create employment for our youths. Until we break away from them or God Himself defines our coexistence, don't expect any miracle

Well, I'm very close to the north. In Farming government provided inputs, including fertiliser and irrigation .On nomadic herding, government provides cover and invests in it secretly. The govt gives their people incentives which are not known to other parts of the country. They depend on government allocation to pay salary, finance infrastructure, etc with less than 2% of revenues of most states coming from IGR. Arewa would say overtime of course. I know him and I always tackle him here. He lies alot.

They said the fed govt wasn't ready to increase energy tariff but when they did so a couple of months ago, despite the protest, they didn't even tell anyone. Na after people load the energy they bought on their meter when they discovered the increase because the amount which used to give them 180kw earlier only gave them like 110kw as seen on display on their meters and, that's over 90% increase. My neighbour rushed to my house to protest and asked if I experienced same, I just laughed. That's the kind of govt we have. They're bunch of liars.

Yesterday I watched channels tv and was disappointed in buhari on his appointment for the first time. Prior to that time, I never even showed interest in what people were saying on his lopsided political appointments. There was a topic of debate on aviation during which Mr Sirika the Aviation minister spoke. Shortly after that, another fulani who was the DG of NCAA( Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority) also spoke. As if that wasn't enough, one man came out to speak on NIN, a DG and another northerner. He said his office would work with NIMC to make the NIN exercise a smooth one by providing some of their facilities for this purpose. I asked myself, are we running a northern government?
