It's no more news that Owolewa has been declared winner as a congressman to represent Washington DC under Democratic Party, the first time a Nigerian would achieve that feat in the most powerful country on earth, USA . In my view, this is a good reason we must jointly end godfatherism ahead of 2023. Nigeria ought to have been a replica of America in development, political freedom and exposure ,etc, given the human, material and natural resources God has blessed us with. A country where a son or daughter of nobody could have become somebody without knowing anybody. The earlier we send all these thieves in our political space packing....those who have refused to leave government since 1960...the better. To those supporting godfatherism, the practise which has caused the youths of today to become perpetually hopeful in mirage of being a leader of tomorrow, use your head. They're using your head to remain relevant. The greedy politicians would use you as thugs to snatch ballot boxes , just to have their way on top of peanuts. Many of you have even died in the process, but they don't care. When they're giving their children's hands out in marriage, celebrating birthdays or sharing their stolen money, they won't remember inviting you. You'd not even see them again until the next election approaches. They win election with your votes but when they want to decamp, they don't consult same you, back home. The arrangement ends there in Abuja and you only hear the news on the radio or watch it on the telly. Think about it. In a country like Nigeria, Owolewa wouldn't have won an ordinary wards election. The less said, the better...Albert Heinstein |
ThatFairGuy:yes oo. Under a godfatherism regime, this guy won't win an ordinary councillorship election. Let's join hands and end this monster in our country. 2023 is closer than we think |

Set yourselves free from perpetual bandage. Congrats Mr Owolewa. Under the regime of godfatherism, somebody like you wouldn't win a county poll. |
Waa sheeree. Waa gbayiii ![]() |
TroubleMaker47:sorry for pulling your legs I asked that question deliberately. Hope you're are aware that walk-in or personal ballots cast had been concluded in all the remaining swing states remainingthe mail-in ballots. Only the Democrats advised their supporters to cast their ballots by what's called mail-in ballots cos of covid-19 pandemic. As you can see, it's a very tight race and the remaining millions of mail-in ballots haven't even been counted up to 1% and Democrats are 99% favoured in the remaining ballots Trump as you could see had threatened to go to supreme court meaning, his chances of winning is slim. In Nevada where trump was initially leading had now favoured biden and would soon be called. Let's all see goe it plays put while we wait. Good luck to both candidates |
TroubleMaker47:I see ![]() |
Available247:So, biden wouldn't share any out of it you meant? And does winning a state by any candidate translate into winning all the electoral votes therein too? |
Available247:Analysis pls? |
the Brazilian loan if secured, would enter individual pockets as usual. Contracts would be inflated and awarded to their cronies with mobilisation paid up to 75% and jobs would only be executed up to 50% completion with delay tactics, during which exchange rate would soar as always the case and that would give them excuses to borrow more to complete the project. We know how they roll in this government with their systematic looting. |
YouAreFinished:Don't start ethic war this morning abeg. By now, we ought to have been more learned the way we post comments without bias. If you visit South East and see property destroyed during protest, you'd simply pray for forgiveness. Those thugs loaded in 3 brt buses to the protest ground where peaceful protesters were gathered...were they also ipobs? This isn't shout tribe. The damage is across board. Do you think same ipob would suddenly locate oba Akiolu's palace and BRT terminals to destroy things? If you visit enugu alone, you'd be shocked seeing the level of damage done. |
Time to sleep as eyes are already dim, lol. I no dey see well again. work plenti for me today also ![]() I wish all Americans the best on the choice of their leader. Personally, I predict a win for Joe. |
Dansuqi:Sorry, count ongoing but Biden is leading, not yet concluded as I earlier said. Id retract it...following |
Dansuqi:CNN kee . Naaah! |
Dansuqi:tune to fox news |
Dansuqi:Biden is leading |
Dansuqi:Trump has no option than to lose florida, going by what I'm seeing here on fox. Except miracle happens |
busky007:George and Florida too. |
gaetano:That's if he wins again |
What do you expect from a county whose capital city is "BANG" "KOCK" ![]() |
ReluctantAdult:not on all occasions. If a girl would shoot you in the next hour and she sees you with another woman, she'd still feel jealous and be uncomfortable. That doesn't mean she loves you . It's their nature. |
Americans are agog right now. They seem to know Biden would win so they're already advising Trump as they did Clinton on 2016 on Fox. I'm watching fox news right now
|
Royalfurnitures:can we bet..? I'm Damn serious. |
YoonSung54:See consolidation ![]() |
Haaaaaa. When army had already admitted the lagos state government sent them? You people should just forget heaven. Its not your place. APC has succeeded in professionalising and institutionalising lying in Nigeria, starting from lai Muhammed. They rise to power via same means so I'm not surprised. Only fools would believe this. Nigerians, shey una dey see... |
Go to bayelsa, una go see taya |
Dansuqi:haha |
kayusely70:who told you tinubu supported amotekun? Stop saying what you aren't sure of. He didn't support cos of his 2023 presidential ambition which is a mirage |
slimfit1:Get this right...amotekun can also arrest like the police do, just the way Hisbah does in the north. Hope that's clear. |
tammie24:I'm telling you. Only God can and will judge them. I remember tertorist wadume released by these heartless people after killing the police that went to arrest him despite detailed identification by the latter taking him to their barracks and cutting off his cuffs. Thank God one of the officers survived the gunshot wounds who later exposed the military's heinous act. The case would have since been buried as they earlier denied killing the policeman who went to carry out the arrest. |
Iamthoney:I'm quite aware of American politics and the electoral colleges. I only mentioned the early votes cast In most states where trump won in the past, the polls this time showed the odds were against him. In as much as I'd have wanted trump to win, the realities on ground suggest otherwise. I hope he won't do something funny to subvert the will of the people. This morning, i watched on sky news where lots of american voters were protesting against their missing mail-in ballot mainly in the swing states. They said the incident was the highest in the USA election history and 10 times more as recorded in 2016. We are all watching the trend together |
Focusmind:What you said is nothing but a mirage. Only if they want to cause chaos or anarchy would the government act according to your thoughts. They're simply afraid but its too late for them to start crying. They were warned not to shoot but they did and the aftermath cost Nigerians lives, properties and reputation globally. The peaceful protesters have back up from another faction of youths who would avenge them...those who don't fear death as they willingly can commit suicide on a normal day. The desperate politicians shouldn't do anything funny because they might not be alive to see the end of the second wave of what we saw in October. No matter how bitter the truth is, it has to be told |
