QuotaSystem: ...and once again SE politicians exhibit their political infancy.
Instead of grabbing the opportunity to be politically relevant in the PDP under the legally recognized chairman, they have allowed sentiments to becloud their reasoning and have naively blown their golden chance.
By the time the Jonathan/Wike faction rebellion is finally sunk, they will start screaming political marginalization and resume sponsoring their touts to waste their lives through civil disobedience in the name of Biafra agitation.
...and the circle continues. Spoken like a true political student. |

comos: No division in PDP
it only shows that sheriff has been rejected by PDP Please think strategically... in politics it's never what is seems. Ali Sherrif is simply finding out who's the friend and who's the foe. The last PDP meeting where he walked out of the former President should have told you that he has publicly declared he is the boss and is ready for whatever .. you only declare war when you have have already won in politics or know what to do to win.But easterner's are politically inept. If I were Peter Obi, I would go to the meeting. Makarfi's camp (more like ragtag group) will not survive this. They are politically weak, could not manage wadata plaza until Ali Sherrif came (salaries were not paid, the building was dilapidated and deserted). Now, that things are moving they want him out, but when that happens the party will die again. and because all the governors are heavily watched by the EFCC, you need someone out of the system that can provide billions if not trillions for 2019. And only Ali Sherrif and Atiku Abubakar can provide money and genius both of which no one in PDP currently has. Cairo Ojigbo will give Lai Mohammed a run for his money... that's for sure. Fayose was on channelstv a few days ago, he was almost in tears. Wike is paranoid, thinks 'they' want to kill him. Other PDP governors have been silent, last I heard Ali Sherrif had 9 PDP governors in his pocket. Allegiance's have been re-aligned a long time ago, how do you think Ali Sherrif remains in control. If PDP would survive another decade let Ali Sherrif rule for now. APC has to many technocrats, and accomplished politicians. When the war drums are beaten, I bet my bottom dollar APC will re-group and thrust ahead once more rythmically like they did before. This time, they will take everything ! I also support Ali Sherrif because he will not tolerate... wike the thug and fayose the class clown |

Nwodosis: Virginity till marriage is good but that does not make one a good wife. Actually it does Premarital Sex and the Risk of Divorce
This article examines the relationship between premarital sexual activity and the long-term risk of divorce among U.S. women married between 1965 and 1985. Simple cross-tabulations from the 1988 National Survey of Family Growth indicate that women who were sexually active prior to marriage faced a considerably higher risk of marital disruption than women were were virgin brides.
http://www.jstor.org/stable/352992 The influence of the family on premarital sexual attitudes and behavior.
Children whose mothers have less restrictive attitudes have, on average, less restrictive attitudes themselves. Further, the attitudes of mothers are also reflected in the behavior of their children, so on average, mothers with more permissive attitudes have children who are more sexually active.
http://www.springerlink.com/index/G8W42260607T3858.pdf Premarital Sexual Behavior and Attitudes toward Marriage and Divorce among Young Women as a Function of Their Mothers' Marital Status
Women from intact families reported the most positive attitudes toward marriage, while those in the reconstituted-family group reported the most accepting attitudes toward divorce. Women from divorced and reconstituted families reported significantly more sexual experience than did those from intact families. Family conflict, disruption, and the presence or absence of one's father emerged as significant predictors of dating behavior and attitudes.

dotcomnamename: Don't mind the poster you quoted . I and my wife have been dating since when she was in primary school. Its almost 9 years now that i brought her over from Nigeria too. Infarct after her visa was approved i got UK visa for her because i want her to visit some of my family members in London, she spent almost a month with them until i told her that ''time is up because almost a month is ok there'', she came over to join me here, we're happily married with brilliant children now. As a matter of fact i went to Nigeria to bring her myself and i was even busy then in Nigeria so i told her to head straight to the UK and she will come and meet me in Ireland after few weeks with my family in UK, and i did not even step my foot at the airport as i was working and she took the cab home, that was her first time in the country. So i don't think its right to blame that guy just like that. It is not a crime to bring your girlfriend to come and join you in abroad. It is not crime. After all we don't know exactly what has happened between them. Some Nigerian Girls/ladies/women are still good.
In another way, some women are very dangerous seriously, but at the same time it could be a blessings to the guy because living with such a lady is deadly. I understand. The issue is that alot of people believe once your in a western country all your life problems will dissolve. So, once they come to yankee they behave anyhow. Who is going to start looking for the girl and where. US-CIS has thousands of similar cases and nobody is going to take your's more seriously than cases that came before you ! It's even worse if cases like these are marked "low priority". Nigerian men have abandened our culture of doing due diligence on a woman before taking her seriously. In cases like these the said guy must have been warned by family member's but instead of investigating them , he will do otherwise. A girl like this cannot fool everyone. Lesson is that no man should take any girl seriously until he has done due diligence. I expect women to do the same. |

Romance › Re: Is It OK Breastfeeding In Public??? #debate #photo by escapefromusa(f): 4:42am On Mar 28, 2017 |
gentlegenius: Every nursing mother should always go out with a hand towel in case she has to breast feed her baby in public, then she can use it to cover her breast leaving only her nipple in the baby's mouth. I remember the day I was inside keke in Owerri, sitting with the driver in the front seat. A woman at the back seat just opposite my back had a baby who was seriously crying. She pulled up her bra unleashing a big, well shaped tit for the baby to suck. The baby's head did cover some part of the tit as sucking continues. We got stuck in traffic and the tired woman fell asleep leaving the baby to struggle alone with her huge tit. As I viewed the whole drama from the side mirror of the keke, the baby also slept off, resting her head on the mother's laps, and leaving the big breast to hang freely and completely exposed. Passers by were enjoying the show. I couldn't take my eyes off the mirror as the huge stuff keeps dangling as the keke was moving and entering small pot holes. The show reached climax when the keke finally reached a junction where everyone had to alight. Cyclist men were all over the keke, looking for who to carry. Everyone came down but the woman was still sleeping with one breast completely naked. Bike men sorrounded the keke looking at her and you can imagine the show of shame when the keke driver finally woke her up. No matter what a woman does, she should remember that her breast is still a Private part. Their is nothing sexual about a woman breast feeding her child. I can't see how this is sexually provocative. ! Nurturing a child is the glorious activity a woman can carry out besides cooking hypnotizing meals for the family ... Why would anyone look at a woman breastfeeding a child. We all have been breastfed, and should respect this natural calling.. for the child and mother.. these rights should be protected. I always turn a blind eye when this happens..... Women respect men more when they do this, why would you look at a breast feeding mother sexually.... she is nourishing the earth. |
