We have a culture that looks down on a single mother from on set. D arguments of all those in support of single mother hood is that some men r not worth d trouble. I can reason with that. But what's d reason for being called a bastard, cos last I checked, we still have d word in d dictionary, and d context it is used around here is like BSC n hnd. I don't think our culture is in support of these. Culture is d problem. If we don't want to be insulted, I think it's better to be in a place where single motherhood is an acceptable way of life. Or just keep quiet .

As much as I don't like what c.republic did, I would have taken it back to them n complain get my money's worth, especially, when I saw n did not taste d bread. I agree, most stations, not all, allow these sharp practices. Another question there is... if most stations are doing these, are d regulating agencies not aware? This means they have failed you all. Its my first time working officially after Nysc, so I don't no if it's a crime to fall sick?

I fell sick(Malaria) on Wednesday around 9am@work,was able to manage myself till 1:30pm when my colleagues told me to go home when I couldn't cope. Got permission from the school's HM and left;was admitted at the hospital so I couldn't go to work yesterday but went today aganist the doctor 's advice that I still need to rest. Got to work today and was told that I was fired because I fell sick and was absent for a day & half.

My Question is, Is it a crime to fall sick when employed?

It is possible they have a procedure for reporting falling sick while at work eg. sending in doctors report or excuse duty immediately you get to the hospital, which you didn't follow. However, for the school or organization to be so hasty in firing you is very wrong. You can take legal action against them. I will suggest against this. I will suggest you find another job. I strongly blive it is not your path. God has a better plan for you. Leave them, that action indicates that it's not a good place to work even for starters.

Hmmmm..... the State is buying the ships and building a shipyard (with taxpayers money).... but it is a delicate public private partnership. How much is the private partner investing?...and what percentage of the profits .if any.... would they be reaping?
