progress69:You know nothing at all. Who empowered INEC to to 're-order' election? Wow!!! I didn't know that INEC can now change the constitution of the country o. Haven't they told you that only the Parliament/Congress/Legislature (as the case may be depending on which a country calls it. Nigeria calls her own the Legislature) of any country has the power to remove/add any item in the constitution of any country? Only the NASS can decide they want to change Nigeria's currency from Naira to Dollar and it would become a law so far the President signs to it. And if he doesn't signs it, they only need the 2/3 majority votes among themselves to override him and it would become a law. They are the only entity empowered by the constitution to make and change laws, that is why they are called Lawmakers. When you don't know anything, you ask. |
SirBunky85:Mr politician, that remains to be seen. |
buhariguy:How is it impossible to conduct election in 3day? Which ever one comes first, let your nepotic and cluesless man abide by it |
Okoroawusa:Either they cry foul or not, he should have done the right thing by signing it. Now they are going to override him and disgrace people like you. |
tesppidd:Gullible people like you, suffering and smilling! How does the new election order favour the senators I don't understand these people at all. Does it have any guarantee that any one would win the election if the order comes in any form?? How do some people think sef? |
SillyMods:They 'change' and ammend the constitution every time because the law is made for the man and not the other way round, and it's not a new thing anywhere in the world. No one is 'arm-twisting' anyone, the law is good for democracy, it would be every politician on its own based on what he/she has achieved. Your work will speak for you during the election. Ask yourself, how does the re-ordering favours Saraki and National Assembly as a whole? If the presidential election comes first and the moment a party wins, then people would want to vote for the same party in the state and governorship elections. This is not good for democracy. |
lailo:I think you've gone nuts and mad |
uba1991:Young man, be sensible. Buhari wants the constitution obeyed? Who are the people empowered to make the constitution? If he is sure he would win if elections were conducted in the night, why didn't he sign since the National Assembly has the power to make laws and also ammend the laws?? |
buhariguy:The nonentity elements of Buhari's loyalists are afraid. If Buhari is not afraid, then he should have signed the re-ordering |
SirBunky85:To answer your question, the National Assembly can change the order of election because they have the constitutional right to do so. Then may I tell you that most of the senators you claim will thread with coution came from the same party as Saraki to join the APC. They would overide him because he has lost the respect of the entire country. |
progress69:I do not know any other god apart from the Almighty God. Your nonsense question should best be answered by you and false messiah's as$ lickers. You Buhari worshippers are more afraid than the man himself. If the election was re-ordered during Jonathan's time and it was allowed, Why is this man and his asS lickers scared? Why is it a problem for you lots? |
I just don't know why Buhari is scared of having the presidential election coming last. If he's sure he has performed well like his loyalists claim daily, then it shouldn't matter the order which the election comes. Anyway, I knew this write-up is trash the moment it said 10 PDP have agreed to support Buhari's veto |
Mr vice president, you've ''increased capital funding in power, works and housing, transportation, agriculture'' etc but there's nothing to show for it |
Escaped from the sh1t hole nah |
Jonathan's government was bad? I would say Buhari's government is the worst in the history of Nigeria. Buhari is the worst president to have ever ruled the country. Nepotism, favouritism, cluelessness, reccession, wickedness, sadistic, corruption, ineffectiveness, cabal, subsidy, fuel scarcity, insecurity (boko haram + fulani herdsmen). Jonathan didn't thick all these boxes but Buhari does. It's time to send him to daura to tend to his cows. |
sarrki:It's now confirmed you are suffering from chronic manic depressive psychosis coupled with second degree schizophrenia. Quickly check-in at a pyschiatric ward if your mania could still be remedied. You are the biggest bigot here. |
sarrki:I didn't see where he mentioned any party in his comments. Why are you so aggrieved and bitter, calling him miscreant, for sharing his own personal opinion? Perhaps you are a muslim, right? That's why they say you people have wicked and evil minds. |
Sharia court is allowed in the north but the Benue anti-open grazing law is a headache for the government and security agencies because it is against their people. Isn't it better the north go their own way to form a country of their own where they can have their sharia constitution and soldiers... |
Himmler:Let him be! He just exposed his ignorance. I think he belongs to the group of myopic people who know nothing other than shout 'sai Buhari' while they are suffering. |
gawu1:I never mentioned I want to contest any election but anyone would win against Buhari today! I mean ANYONE, irrespective of which party! If you are Ok and happy with where Nigeria is today, then I suggest your own version and vision of Nigeria be quickly changed by the upcoming election. |
alen4smith:Yes he was, in 2015, the only time he ever won an election after many attempts. Only Ekiti state didn't vote for him in the South. Are you ok now? |
gawu1:If all that didn't satisfy your conviction and you think he has the crowd, goodluck to you. That's why Nigeria is where it is today |
alen4smith:In the north. Thank you for that. |
So politicians still make this kind of empty promises in this era?? That campaign strategy would work 10-15years ago but not this age. Say something else biko |
The worst governor in Nigeria who never contested or won any election. All he does is lick the as$ of his demi god in Aso villa & act as his errand boy. I was amazed when he was bowing down more than once for a mere party chairman Oyegun at a rally in Kogi. When Buhari farts you see Yaya Bello there, when Buhari is brushing his teeth (though I don't know if Buhari actually brushes) you see Bello there, when Yusuf Buhari returned from medical trip, suprisingly Bello was the only governor there in Aso villa to 'receive' him! Ah kilode?? Yaya Bello has no job to attend to Kogi government house?? I only understand this; he's doing ''the boy is good'' to show gratitude to Buhari and Oyegun for choosing him to grab the mandate of the man who defeated him in primaries. But Kogi people should quickly do the needful by voting out this Buhari as$licker. |
9jaArea:And how did you come to the conclusion that the commoners love him? What has he done to better the lives of those you call commoners on the street? Or they just love him because his name is Buhari? with gross incompetent governance? |
Saraki? Even his whole party ganged up against his ambition of becoming the Senate President, yet he soared and still soaring high. They will fail. He's very smart, knows how to press the correct buttons to get the majority on his side, he's one of the best and most ambitious politicians in recent times in Nigeria. Respect |
Ridiculously fake news. What a funnily fake thread. I wonder what the op wanted to pass across by cooking up this... |
TheFreeOne:They just wanted to see that man they've only seen on the tv. That's Nigerians for you with the people in power, you just want to see how he really looks like, it doesn't mean they love him or they would vote for him. Crowd also trooped out to see Goodluck before they voted him out. |
NOC1:Your permutations are very wrong and I dont blame you at all. You made your conclusion just because of those people you see in that picture? What you don't know is that no matter who the president is, whether hated or loved, people would troop out to get glimpse of him and that doesn't in any way suggest they will all vote for him. Since forever, Nigerians have always liked sight-seeing the people in power, not because they like them, they just want to see that man they've only been seeing on the tv for many years! Go and see again the crowd that followed Goodluck before he lost the last election. |
For Naija, our lawmakers are thinking about changing the NYSC uniform for females, to skirts. That's what is important to them in this age when other countries are far gone in changing the world to make it a better place. Who did Nigeria offend ![]() |
