I just don't know how to explain it. They are both moral issues, so I think it is easier to express that which will not debauch one's mind...I don't know if you are catching my drift...

Sex descriptions might make us more aroused as it gets more descriptive

In order words
we enjoy the thoughts of doing one, and not the other

In a xtian movie it would easier to say:
I "cut off the man's head" than to say "i screwed her from the back"

In real life too, it would be more publicly acceptable for a pastor to say:
"the man cut of her head and eyes"
than to say "the man shagged her for 10mins from the rear"

Both are quite descriptive
Why one, and not the other?

How come it is easy for christian movies to have scenes of murder like secular movies do? -*a grevious sin
however it is almost impossible to have scenes of sex like is prominent in secular movies? -*a lesser sin

I'd like some thoughtful opinions

I) -Be aware that you might possess this weakness if you are an extremely analytic and reflective person.

The moral of the Adam and Eve story is that the fewer the choices, the easier it is for you to act
You tend to have more choices when your thinking ability expands, and you are also more exposed
In analysing these choices, you might soon begin to find gaps/issues with them
The tendency to take a step might soon be extremely difficult as there are too much choices,
plus you see analystical flaws in most or all the choises
....This is what we refer to as action/analysis paralysis

So if you have 'reflector' type xteristics, you might notice that you feel more comfortable just spending time thinking but not acting

113) Introducing Analysis and Action Paralysis

In post #106, I introduced a concept known as action/analysis paralysis. lets talk about it a little bit.

Imagine Adam and Eve in the garden all alone. There was no need for marriage ceremonies.
There was even no description of beauty or masculinity
It was taken for granted that they will have to 'marry' or nack themselves.
Nothing about "she does not have big ikebe", or "he is not generous"


You see it clearly right?
There was simply no choice shikena!!!

I reached into my wallet to give a dash
I was looking for a 500 note but didnt find any. I ended up giving a 1000 Naira note

I have noticed with increasing alarm that change is getting scarce. This can be traced to the ATM machines which dole out only 1000naira notes.
The consequence of this is that purchases are quickly rounded up to 1000 naira, or some folks have to leave some of their change behind after the futility of waiting for change

Such situations will no doubt contribute to inflation

For me, it reads like this:
