QuentinDay:We -those names you mentioned - are all different you know we are all saying different things every man is carrying his cross here, agreeing in some things and disagreeing in others I on my part have no issues with Anita's own blog -for now, i really don't care whether it's hers or a clone Maybe if I am interested enough later on, I'll do some investigations on it But to be honest, I really don't care much about its authenticity for now. ..Whatever she does, may God grant her good speed, and may He also grant you the speed to pursue and attain his plan for your life AMEN |

Here are some points - Being the wife or husband of a scientist doesn't make you one ...agreed - One or two things Oyaks said in that video can be busted if in a 2 way communication. ...This is the danger of listening only to oneself, you soon become an island unto yourself - Anita helped create all of this. Its like designing a nuclear bomb and complaining if its thrown in your backyard ..although I cant hear her complaining - We all have our loyalists many of who would close their eyes to our faults. Oyaks has is in the many, and so does Anita ..she'll be strengthened by them and by God - From revelations so far, the real accusation was not really adultery, but more of abandonment - Oyaks was built with a p.enis, and An.ita with a va.gina. So in a case of 'abandonment' its only natural that there would be some sexual driven frustration and suspicions. ..maybe na swhy Oyaks encourage us to dey masturbate sef ...just joking-As women get more 'modern' demanding more and men remain in the past, not wanting to give more, so will the tendencies for divorce increase. You only need to listen to Oyaks to realise that despite him being a fine rich boy ehmm em,, he is like the "ancient of days" - I hate media sensationalism and discussions chaperoned by simple minded folks. This kind of sensationalism puts me off the current pro APC publicity machinery. It tends to wrap too much fiction around little truths in order to gain pecuniary and psychological advantages. ..I am a christian and so will definitely have some bias towards my faith (not the touch-not-my-prophet type). I don't feel comfortable dragging 'visible christians' into the mud based on road side stories which may have only 5% truths in them. |
OLAADEGBU:you're yet to ask a question |
OLAADEGBU:You missed the point let me explain If I ask a question "what does the bible say about goats?" or I ask you "why are you a goat?" Well, the bible has little to say about goats, and you would immediately take a defensive stance and call me a cow or something. So once more, I suggest you look for some other neutral phrase to use in starting off your inquiry. No worries, you can then throw in the "PC", "hypocrite" etc kind of stuff somewhere towards the middle of the thread ..just my suggestion |
OLAADEGBU:I've never seen my bible mention "political correctness" in the first place, neither did it mention the planet jupiter nor global warming Does your bible have such a thing as this? ![]() Kindly approach your question from a new vista and lets see if it would ignite folks with sound reasoning instead of those with zealous tendencies |
Guys let go,...this is getting too dirty let the young man criticize all he wants and let those who are being criticized come to their own defense ..if they've got the time there is no spiritual or psychological profit in attacking one another even if we consider it defense ...night |
OLAADEGBU: ![]() I was referring to the OP blog, not Anita's blog I.e. you framed your post around a blog that was so obviously a patch of various stories designed for sensational effects in order to make money You are strong in aptitude. I would have preferred your created and published your own narrative instead of pushing forward the OP's blog as a point of reference (I am not talking about Anita's blog) . |
kingsolex:Are Lagos and Abuja No MANS lands despite the fact that the cities were developed by the might of the entire nigeria, fueled by oyel economy? Is your mother you wife despite the cultural fact that she is is considered the wife of your dads house? Before you talk about how the oil is yours because groundnuts and cocoa were used for its exploration, since when did oil multinationals foreign investments become cocoa driven? Or, even if it was, does your N100 cab fare mean that the taxi automatically becomes yours forever? dude, do unto others as you would have them do unto you and don't let long throat get the better of you ...(N.B I am not saying that if someone steals money it should not be returned and the person prosecuted. However ethnic Tinubu jingoists should not make mockery of all of this) |
habaa Olaadegbu this is too below he belt naw hope you know that you have more intellectual authority than the blogger you are able to put together something more coherent than the blogger managed to achieve so, why stoop down to his or her level? Quite a number of us have a grudge against Oyaks throw-out-your-vision-and-take-mine style of leadership probably because we've seen loved ones sucked-in, parroting like robots, and cut off from us, with nothing substantive to show for it (at least based on our measurement) I guess Anita just woke up to the fact that God's love and and his blessings towards us is not precedent on pastors I also feel her pain, that as a fine chick you marry someone that you have to struggle to differentiate between when to call him pastor vs when to call him darling... what happens in the passion of the bedroom ? .......narcissism She's made her choice, and this should be respected ..Olaa we are all filled up with mistakes, its part of what makes life colourful Chris will make mistakes, Anita will, Kumuyi will, I will, and so will you as you just did All of this does not stop our fellowship with Christ, and that is why for more than 2OOO years (even starting from the apostles) we've had lots of churches pointing fingers at one another while thinking that they are they chosen ones |
hahn:PERFECT!! Me thinks there is still some missing bits When David asked to fight Goliath, Saul would have been extremely silly to entrust his entire army and probably kingdom in the hands of a little boy. I suspect that David first had to explain to him that he was extremely skilled with the sling (which was equivalent to a gun) His brothers would have confirmed to Saul And Saul would have tested David by giving him some targets to hit which he did successfully Saul offered David his armour for defence in case Goliath threw his Javeline at him |
rangeblog:For fun, let's do a little mental exercise to weigh the pastor's morality....... if someone had come to her church completely naked -whether man or woman would pastor have boldly posted the pictures of the person's dangling bits on facebook? If "NO", then why? if pastor can post this clothed bum picture on facebook without a sense that she is playing with sin, but would feel sinful if she pastes a na.ked attempted-church-attendee's picture on facebook. .....then we can infer that this clothed bum is not as bad as she thinks it is In the words of Daniel: "....TEKEL. Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting." |
OLAADEGBU:If you say so however, I now spend more time on the 'things of God' and feel more bonded to Him in this 'social club' than when I was a chairman in the 'christian assembly of critics' and interestingly, God has not complained about this to me You sound like the Pharisees who feel superior to others who they deem inferior and dirty.actual with regards to homosexuality i think you sound more like the pharisee quoted ..my opinion sha anyways, it comes back to the same point.. let those of us sinful 'pharisees' that want to worship God in aircondition go join to those with like minds not minding others while the 'saints' who prefer 'self infliction', go ahead to worship with their kind and throw jabs at us the 'pharisees' ..and let God be the one to separate wheat from chaff |
issylarry:If you intend to break up its only fair that you let a member of the family know the reason why, since you're close to them If you tell her mum, the mum will put pressure on you to forgive her, and you wont be able to resist (that is if you have made up your mind to quit the relationship) The brother is the best person to confide in. He'll understand and perhaps, it would make him more lenient with his own girlfriends if something like this happens to him in future But should you forgive her in the first place?....uhmmmmm I don't know she obviously had some other fellow that she loved as equally as she loves you hence she continued with him to this stage she is probably better off with him but felt some loyalty to you because of the bonds you developed with her family. |
philips70:mehn I concur a lot of these forumnites that commented are like what was written in the bible "“‘Keep on hearing, but do not understand; keep on seeing, but do not perceive.’ Make the heart of this people dull, and their ears heavy, and blind their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed.”" |
iamrealdeji:Thanks for sharing this information |
tpiander:Thanks. It's quite helpful |
@olaadegbu ....And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life ; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. 13And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds . 14Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire 15And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fireI have no opinion but I'm curious to what all of this means |
OLAADEGBU:Now, this is where TD Jakes and I differ from you and that is why you would find Jakes suggestion strange we are thinking of different things although we used the same words For us, a church of Christ is where people (no matter how in-sin or out-of-sin they ) come together to listen to the Word of God, and get refreshed the emphasis is on Christ, but in an environment that is suitable for us -I would find it difficult attending a church where everyone is tying their hair and have probably not washed for days even if miracles pour down like rain there.. it doesnt stop it from being a church of Christ |
OPCNAIRALAND:you sure got the point neither is Nigeria a yorubaland... thats what i was getting at Nigeria is made up up many lands and culture, so we shouldnt always assume that the rest of Nigeria must act the way we do in our tribal enclaves |
makzeze:Dude although you simply used the title provided by a newspaper publication for this thread but we really need to be careful about re-echoing certain things Now I don't know if you're one of the down down Jonathan &PDP, up up APC & Tinubu crew or just a Neutral guy but the framing of this news is so pedestrian and pandering to external national interests a bloody diplomat from another country who is only after his personal and national interest possibly to the detriment of ours should not be setting the agenda for how we engage with our natural resources the journalist ( and I hope you do not share his or her sentiments) is acting naively for the sake of providing news ...its a case of selling birthrights for plates of porridges |
OPCNAIRALAND:I'm sure that not all part of Nigeria is Yorubaland the reason is say this is because there are more yorubas in UK than any other Nigerian tribe and guess what, I call all of them by their first names except those outside my circle of official engagement i've never heard them retort that in yorubaland, its disrespectful Hope u know say Bola and Olusola they roll together well well for UK |
kandiikane:In Nigeria, when you see the cops, you lock your door that's the way its done here |
eme40rald:yep you should if you dont do this, you will feel hurt for a very, very long time to come while himself and her continue their jolly but when you report, your own hurt will lessen while they also help you carry some, after all, its no fault of yours its your choice,...but I've seen this scenario happen a lot of times and the dire consequences when the woman in your place chooses to carry the hurt alone, how they jump from one ministry to another trying to heal their wounds and further being taken advantage of. ..just do it and then move on |
naa..... Buhari needs not prove he is a saint we don accept am like that what he needs prove is that he has more to offer Nigeria's economic growth than just turning to school prefect and punishing those who are not his guys for corruption |
lol Oshio baba will soon leave governorship he needs to be visible and vocal in order to attract the attention of PMB for a top federal job His adrenaline is pumping at the moment and his new found toughness would help his testosterone level keep up with his obviously young and agile bride ...there is a saying that when you grow big teeth, you need to also grow large lips to cover them ![]() |
uhmm the guy is as trendy as our pastors i hope he gets a jet soon |
OLAADEGBU:umhhh Olaadegbu there are too many points here I really don't know how to tackle them in one place What is a church? then, what is a church of God? Probably, this is were our thinking might fork into different paths My understanding is that we tend to differentiate between these 2. A church is a group of people (christians) that come together in a location with the main aim of calling on the name of Jesus they could be extremely 'saintly' or extremely dirty or a mix. Their beliefs can be extremely different A "church of God" is when we try to insist or connote only the churches that are made up of 'saintly' folks and follow some doctrines which we believe are the right ones. The emphasis in such description is that the congregation must be 'holy' because God is 'holy' and hates 'sin'. The goal here is to denounce and regularly flog sin while seeking to be as holy as possible. I would have said yes, it is a church of God, however, the challenge I have with using the term 'Church of God' in such arguments is because it would immediately raise up a mental block in someone who's idea of the association of God and holiness is different from mine It's much like when men are discussing sex and then if for any reason the discussion shifts to their daughters or wife immediately the story ends or quarrel starts |
Lasgidy1:uhmmmm, ![]() well, na so women be. If she wan carry belle, there is nothing you can do about it no matter the contraceptives you use except you called it quits with her but now that you're going to be a daddy, my advice to you is that you go on your knees to her parents and yours with a well laid out plan that they should help support the baby while you quickly do your university degree. Tell them that you will pay them back later. Congrats again ![]() |
OLAADEGBU:I think the point was missed the explanation is quite lengthy,... but let me try something short but a little bit haphazard Churches are different just as one man is different from another, and one culture is different from another Example of differences is: There are some Nigerian families that allow their daughters the liberty to go outing even in the night an onlooker that is pro lock-girls-in-the-house might hastily summaries that the parents are affirming that they should turn to prost.titutes However, the parents might have something different in mind and might be coming from a different emotional place. Now, this ^^^ is not a perfect example however it should help in explaining that the word "affirm" that you used does not quite fit into what Jakes was saying Let's move on Christianity or Christiandom as I know it encourages people to first hear the gospel, then after this, come into repentance this spreading of the gospel for repentance can come in two ways 1) Going out to evangelize 2) People coming into church to hear the gospel Because the Church (as a congregation) is made up of people who are mostly closely knit and family units there is always a tendency to protect some core shared values, unlike what you would get in outdoor evangelism However, like I said earlier, the shared cored values differ from church to church -one congregation would not mind if its prophet slaps everyone while spreading the gospel of repentance -another would not mind if its prophets occasionally err and sleep with the most beautiful of its girls -yet another would not mind if its prophets murder English regularly and teaches his flock to do same Jakes is suggesting that is congregation would be uncomfortable with open gays, but that they can try some other church OK, you might say shouldn't he just condemn homosexuality outrightly and leave them to their fate I'd say that well we are all different. One condemns, another heals Besides, when a church spends every passing minute condemning no one will come to hear the gospel in the first place, and there will be no repentance But then, you might go on to say what manner of preaching will be served in a homosexual 'affirming' church? I'd say as long as there is a living seed in the soil, no matter the amount of debris that covers it, it will one day force its way out As 'protestants' we are taught that the Roman authorities absorbed Christianity and then snuffed it However, it is self evident that this absorption ended up doing us a great deal of good as it spread Christianity to Europe and Africa and stopped us from getting regularly roasted by a baying mob but no 'dead' christianity was spread to China, and so there has been no gospel rising out of any Christian orthodox carcass in China In summary, even if for the sake of our beliefs we cast these people away from us into the desert, let us at least let them go with some of our water no matter how small |
NgeneUkwenu:some times, I wonder what kind of machine works folks like you what good to you is it if PDP dies and is buried? Don't you understand that PDP is not a living being but only a vehicle Folks are porting from PDP to APC in droves, and you are gloating in order words the same people are moving unto a new platform I really don't understand the simplistic way of thinking that drives a number of our 'literate' youths how can one be laughing at a Benz because of its abandonment by a bad driver, and at the same time sounding the trumpets that the same bad driver is now driving a BMW ....this is sooo ridiculous Except such foolery actually pays your bills, you guys would do better trying to ensure that PDP stays alive with all its bad eggs not porting to APC .......at least we can then have the ability to compare goats and cows |
OLAADEGBU:why is that? should he have said that they be driven from church or told that if they don't change, they can't attend church? God forbid that they are turned back from Church let them go form their own church and express themselves as they wish there. If Christs chooses to visit them or abandon them there...so be it |
OLAADEGBU:Perfectly yes He spoke with wisdom,...absolute wisdom Do you realise that John the Baptist was killed because he was quite blunt?? |
...just joking

? .......narcissism
