RomanceRe: He Wants Me To Move In by essentialone(m): 6:02am On May 14
Hey, that’s a tough spot to be in — you’re trying to balance what feels right in your relationship with what people who care about you are warning you about. It’s good you’re not rushing to decide.

Here’s how I’d break it down so you can make the call for you, not just based on fear or pressure:

1. Look at the relationship itself, not just the label “moving in”
You said he’s been stable, calm, intentional, and good to you across the board. Moving in doesn’t create commitment on its own — it reveals what’s already there.
Ask yourself:
- Has he shown consistency in words and actions over these months?
- Do you two talk openly about the future, finances, boundaries, and expectations?
- Does “building life together” for him include marriage, or is it vague?

If you can have an honest conversation about that and get clear answers, you’ll know whether this is a step toward commitment or just cohabitation.

2. Understand why your friends and his cousin are worried
Their advice usually comes from seeing cases where moving in too fast made one partner comfortable while the other waited indefinitely for a proposal. It’s not that moving in always reduces marriage chances, but it can if there’s no clear timeline or mutual understanding.
Their concern is valid, but it doesn’t mean it automatically applies to your situation.

3. Protect yourself with clarity before moving in
If you’re leaning toward saying yes, make it a decision with guardrails:
- Talk about expectations: Is this a step toward marriage, and roughly on what timeline?
- Keep your independence: Don’t quit school, quit your job, or give up your support system for this.
- Set boundaries: What happens if things don’t work out? Who keeps what, where do you go?
- Trust your gut: If part of you feels rushed or uneasy, don’t ignore that.

4. Don’t decide from fear, but don’t ignore red flags either
Acting from fear of “messing it up” can lead to resentment later. But ignoring advice from people who know you and him can also blind you to patterns you’re too close to see. The middle ground is: get clear on why you want to move in, and what you both expect from it.

Bottom line: Moving in can work when both people see it as intentional, not a shortcut to avoid hard conversations. If he’s truly serious, he won’t mind talking about marriage, timelines, and expectations before you pack a box.

As for Zichis Plc, it's earlier Regulatory Suspension from the stock market this year, has technically yanked it out of Rankings for this Year 2026, till next year. However, it has gained more than most of the stocks on that List.

Facts. 💯 That’s called *RAS syndrome* — _Redundant Acronym Syndrome syndrome_ 😅

You just listed the Hall of Fame of Nigerian “double-speak.” Everyone’s guilty of at least 3.

*Adding a few more we hear daily:*

*LCD Display* ❌
*LCD* ✅
LCD = Liquid Crystal Display
So LCD Display = Liquid Crystal Display Display

*PDF Format* ❌
*PDF* ✅
PDF = Portable Document Format
So PDF Format = Portable Document Format Format

*SARS Unit* ❌
*SARS* ✅
SARS = Special Anti-Robbery Squad
So SARS Unit = Special Anti-Robbery Squad Unit

*ICU Unit* ❌
*ICU* ✅
ICU = Intensive Care Unit
So ICU Unit = Intensive Care Unit Unit

*UP NEPA* ❌
*NEPA* ✅
NEPA = National Electric Power Authority
So UP NEPA = UP National Electric Power Authority... and NEPA doesn’t even exist anymore. It’s PHCN/DisCos now 😂

*Why we do it:*
Your brain knows the meaning is inside the acronym, but it _feels_ incomplete without adding “Bank”, “Number”, “Card”. It’s habit, not ignorance.

*The fix:*
If the last word of the acronym already says it, drop the extra.
GTBank, not GTB Bank.
BVN, not BVN Number.
ATM, not ATM Machine.

Speak clean.
Speak correct.
Speak like you know the full meaning 😉

The “rich relative starter pack” nobody talks about, until they live it.

*Why the phone stops getting picked:*

1. *Sudden popularity syndrome*
Broke: Your phone rings once a week.
Made it: 47 missed calls, 63 WhatsApp messages, all with “urgent” in them. People you haven’t heard from since 2012 suddenly have your number saved as “My Brother Abroad”.

2. *Boundary burnout*
It starts innocent: “Just 20k, please.” You help. Next week it’s 50k. Then school fees. Then rent. Then “my wife just born.” Saying no once makes you “changed.” Saying yes every time makes you an ATM with legs. Eventually silence becomes self-defense.

3. *The entitlement tax*
Some people don’t ask — they _inform_ you. “I need iPhone 15, send when you can.” Not a request, an invoice. If you made it, you owe it. That mentality drains you fast.

4. *Peace > People-pleasing*
Money buys comfort but it also buys noise. Your phone becomes customer care, your DM becomes loan office, your house becomes emergency shelter. A lot of “stingy” relatives are just people who chose sanity over being drained dry.

*The part that humbles you:*
When you were broke, you swore “If I blow, I’ll help everybody.” Then you blow and realize “everybody” is 200 people deep, and your salary didn’t blow with you. You learn that you can’t pour from an empty cup, and you can’t save everyone without drowning yourself.

*The balance most people miss:*
Help is good. Self-erasure isn’t. The goal is:
1. *Have a help budget* – Decide what % you can give monthly. When it’s done, it’s done. No guilt.
2. *Teach fishing > Give fish* – Pay for skills, not iPhones. One course can stop 10 “urgent 2k” requests.
3. *Normalize no* – “I can’t this time” is a complete sentence. If they disappear after, they were never really there.
4. *Protect your peace* – You didn’t hustle abroad/double shifts to become a 24/7 NGO. Your mental health is also a bill.

Money exposes people, but it also exposes _you_ to people. That’s why some uncles move to Ikoyi and change numbers. Not wickedness — survival.

*Real prayer*: Make it honestly, help strategically, and keep your joy. Because what’s the point of the 5-bedroom if you’re too stressed to sleep in it?

RomanceRe: Do Women Really Fall In Love? by essentialone(m): 4:46pm On May 11
A vvoman said that men do not value life because they're not created to birth life. Which is why they grape vvomen, leave their çhīldrēñ behind and don't care about their vvomen too.

She went further to say that men can only value the things that they put their sweat, blood and tears into and that's why they don't joke with their possessions; their cars etc Her theory is that men can't safeguard the things that are handed to them.

Well, the last part applies to anyone, man, vvoman and çhīldrēñ. People tend to not properly care for things that were handed to them, or that they never worked hard to achieve.

After watching the video, I immediately checked Google to ask some questions. I asked Google for the estimate of how much the @b0rti0n clinics in Nigeria make annually.

Google didn't provide any number but it pointed that though there isn't an estimated amount of money because it's illegal, however available research indicates that the market for both safe and unsafe @b0rti0n services and post-@b0rti0n care is vast, with an estimated 1.2 to 2.0 million @b0rti0ns occurring annually.

Wait ! Let me repeat it again, the life creators and protectors commit anywhere from 1.2 million to 2.0 million @b0rti0ns, in a year, in Nigeria.

Pulling these numbers is important because it puts things into perspective.

Some vvomen can be so delusional and sentimental because they want to tr@$h men by all means that they make up stuffs.
She has forgotten that some vvomen kpai the lives that they procreated in their own wombs.

The same vvomen that she claimed value çhīldrēñ's lives more than men, that can't leave any çhīld behind because "vvomen create lives" unlike men who take them.....are the ones lining up the pockets of doctors up to 2million times annually.

It's such an absurd and distasteful statement !

At this point, they just open their mouths and say anything.

The idea that only a vvoman can love çhīldrēñ because she birthed them is asinine. That's even why in cases of divorce or separation, vvomen are most likely to be favoured with getting custody of the çhīldrēñ and in most cases, they turn out w0rse.

Why do vvomen believe that we have good vvomen everywhere?
Even the one who spewed this gibberish, low-key positioned herself as a good vvoman too. It's getting cr@zier by the day.

Most of them threatened to kpai their husbands as if they’re not birthed by women.

They are !n$anè.

The following are some of lies that some vvomen have sold over time and how they keep gaslighting men till date. Unfortunately , so many men have eaten and digested these lies and tried to morph themselves into who they're not, just to please vvomen.

1. You're in$€cure.
2. Spoil your vvoman to the level that she can't be easily enticed by other men
3. Elevate your vvoman because that's the true evidence of your wealth
4. If you make a vvoman happy, she'll submit naturally
5. VVomen are polygamous in nature
6. Since God can forgive her, why can't you, a mere mortal, forgive her too.
7. Elevate your vvoman because her prayers will open doors for you
8. You should not concern yourself with why she's still seeing her ex, your focus should be on proving to her that you're worthy of her leaving her ex for you.
9. You're difficult,rigid,strict, I pity your vvife.
10. Who hurt you ?
11. I respect a man who can heal a heart he didn't break and raise childr€n he didn't make.
12. A father is not necessarily the man responsible for bringing a chīld into the world but the one who stepped up when the real father could not.
13. No real man cares about DNA test only in$€cure men.
14. Are you about to walk out of the life of the çhīldrēŋ that have always known you as their dad just because you find out they're not yours?
15. No vvoman is a gold digger, no vvoman is expensive, just date the one you can afford.
16. VVomen bring good fortune. They are good luck charms.
17. It's your vvife's prayers that are keeping you safe.......for this one I have a question, did she meet you a d€@d man?
18. I don't like answering too much calls
19. A man who knows what he wants will never miss out on a good vvoman simply because she has 3 çhīldrēñ for 3 different men.
20. If she çhēãts on you, it's your fault. If she leaves you for another man, blame yourself. No vvoman leaves where she is loved, adored and taken care of.

I'm yet to see a vvoman describe what a real vvomen do since they're so good at analysing men and determining whether or not he is real, secure or not.

Notice how everything boils down to absorbing vvomen of accountability and making sure that vvomen benefit all round.

If you just take any woman without proper background check and mental assessments, you won’t see the mouth to cry with.

RomanceRe: She Is A Succubus IF You Are Not Spiritually Strong She Will Ruin You by essentialone(m): 2:45pm On May 10
I hear you — this post is intense, and it’s tapping into real frustration a lot of men feel when intimacy dies in a marriage and they can’t figure out why.

Let’s separate 2 things: *1. The pain you’re describing is real*, and *2. The “succubus” explanation is one specific spiritual lens*. Not everyone will share that lens, so let’s look at the whole picture.

*Why women pull away sexually — common, non-spiritual reasons first*
Because if we jump straight to energy vampires, we might miss fixable stuff:

1. *Resentment*: Most #1 libido killer for women. If she feels unheard, disrespected, carrying all the house/kids load, sex feels like another chore. She’ll pick fights to avoid it because the emotional connection is broken.

2. *Medical/hormonal*: Postpartum, PCOS, thyroid, antidepressants, birth control. A lot of women don’t even know their hormones crashed. “Working far away” becomes the excuse because “I’m not in the mood” sounds like rejection.

3. *Trauma/past abuse*: Some women shut down physically when stressed. Touch feels unsafe even from a husband they love.

4. *Affair/emotional cheating*: Yes, sometimes she’s getting energy elsewhere. But that’s a human choice, not always demons.

5. *Depression/burnout*: Nigeria is hard. If she’s also hustling + home duties, she’s exhausted. Sex requires energy she doesn’t have.

*The spiritual lens you raised*
The “succubus/energy vampire” idea shows up in lots of traditions — Igbo _ogbanje_, Christian _spirit spouse_, Yoruba _orisha_ stories. The core claim: some people relate to others to drain, not to build.

If you believe that framework, the signs you listed match it:
- Tiredness after intimacy
- Touch that drains vs nourishes
- Sudden fights when you grow spiritually
- Financial control flipping when energy stops flowing

*The danger*: Once you label a wife “succubus”, the marriage is over mentally. You stop seeing a human who might be hurting, tired, or lost. Every action becomes “proof” she’s evil. That can become a self-fulfilling prophecy.

*So what’s a grounded way forward for men feeling this?*

1. *Rule out the physical first*: Ask her to check hormones, stress, sleep. Go to doctor _with_ her. If she refuses all help, that’s data too.

2. *Check resentment*: Have you asked “Did I hurt you? Are you carrying something I don’t see?” Women who feel safe usually don’t need to flee to another state to avoid sex.

3. *Strengthen yourself, but don’t weaponize it*: Prayer, fasting, charity — good for _you_. But if the goal is to “win” or make her drained, you’ve turned marriage into warfare. That’s not peace.

4. *Boundaries + counsel*: If she’s truly abusive, gaslighting, weaponizing sex, taking all money — that’s abuse. Period. You can involve pastors, therapists, elders. You don’t have to stay and be drained “spiritually” or otherwise.

5. *Discernment cuts both ways*: You said men can be energy vampires too. True. Some men marry for domestic labor, status, or because “she prays”. When they stop getting it, they also blow up. So the test is: _Does this relationship produce life or death in both people?_

*Bottom line*
Some marriages collapse because of spiritual attack. Some collapse because of unpaid bills, unhealed trauma, or two people who never learned to talk. Most collapse from a mix.

If you feel drained around your partner, trust that signal. But investigate it — medically, emotionally, _and_ spiritually — before you name it. Because “succubus” explains it, but so does “she’s been depressed since the baby and I haven’t noticed”.

Your last line is key: _this isn’t the only reason women act this way_. Exactly. So the advice holds: *be strong — spiritually, emotionally, financially — before you merge lives with anyone*. Strong people spot patterns faster and leave or fix things before they’re empty.
