After reading comments here I begin to wonder why some people hate Tinubu so much, not like he has held any public office since he ended his term as governor of Lagos State.

Those refineries have not been working long before 2015, and the government of President Buhari has decided not to invest in trying to make them work cos it will amount to throwing good money after bad. The government rather decided to support Dangote by facilitating the loans needed for the construction of the 650,000 BPD Dangote refinery located at the Lekki Free Trade Zone. The government has also encouraged other investors to build modular refineries, licences have been issued and some of them are already under construction in other parts of the country.
