Xisnin: These aides should thank their stars. They are likely to be reinstated due to the negative media that follow their dismissal. Reinstated? If you read the story well, they said they also read it on the media but that its fake as no body has been asked to stop work or given a sack letter. One of them even asked the reporter not to believe such stories. |
Agriculture › Re: Rice Farming: My Sweet-bitter Experience. Looking forward & Re-strategizing!! by Eteka1(m): 9:37pm On Nov 07, 2019 |
saliubello: 4. Birds.
They finished the rice. I was targeting to prevent theor invasion after the grains have formed. Unknown to me that they actually had started the damage long before I thought.
I later realized that the bird suck the juice / fluid that later solidify to make the rice grain. This became evident when I noticed that after processing, the quantity of chaff was enormous.
Once I did the floatation test, large volume of the chaff were floating. Then I realized the hard way that I had been "taken on a long ride".
How do you keep birds away from your fields ?
I tried the old cassette method. .
I tried the scarecrow.. The birds have to be scared off early. Cos the feed on the fluids in the rice stem and that will not allow the rice to do well. |

The story is talking about which country is more dangerous than the order, and that is what I am commenting on. I don't even understand which angle you are taking it to now. |
Politics › Re: New Crime Index Is Out, Check Nigeria's Position by Eteka1(m): 5:11pm On Nov 06, 2019 |
yomi96: with boko haram and killer fulani herdsmen? You must be one delusional apc supporter. Really? Mexico has a lot of drug/narco mafias that engage in a lot of brutal killings. They also have so many organized criminal gangs that engage in kidnapping, people trafficking, smuggling, money laundering etc. These gangs are well armed and extremely brutal in their operations. Fulani herdsmen issues is a child's play compared to these guys. That's why I think Mexico is more dangerous. Leave politics out of it and learn to comment without throwing insults around. |

Lisaint: You will always have one or two things to say Mr Online Judge Why don't you channel your engery and critics to the government? Before you start looking for evidence here and there You are part of the reason why we are stagnant This is a private company If you felt they are not doing enough why don't you just join as an investor and let your money do the talking. Enough of your blabbering online Start your own manufacturing company if you ain't convinced! IVM is not forcing you to belive them Start your own company today
Most of you are shouting It's not automated Forgetting the number of unemployed graduate we have out there If it's automated How will he employ those that can do one or two things at the company?
I don't care about the location of IVM I don't care if it's own by a fulani
Anything to move us up as a nation is a welcome development
Let government come up with healthy policies that will help companies like this grow!
Let government at all levels start patronizing these companies
I'm a Nigerian student Writing from Ondo state You are talking rubbish. When does stating a fact amount to criticism or being judgemental? Its like your annoyance is due to the fact that you don't see me attacking Buhari or Government as you put it. Did you ever see me say Innoson is not automated or that I don't like their car etc? I have never had issues with where the company is located or which tribe owns it cos i am not a tribalist. I only opined that the company is into assembly and not actually manufacturing the different components of the cars. What is the crime in that? Mr man everyone is entitled to his or her opinion so don't tell me that rubbish you just said again. |

PerfectlyPerfect: Their plant is open to visitors. You can go there and ask to see, they'll let you. Also, the manufacture. I really dont understand why you guys are hating on him. Seriously I don't hate Innoson and why should I? Innoson is creating jobs and importing some form of technology which is a good thing. I was only stating that what they currently do is auto assembly..Its a good start, which could gradually lead to actual manufacturing of component parts in future. |
