Great job Nordmotion!

To the very little minded bigots talking down on their supposed brothers and sisters from other parts of the country, well you lack understanding of how these things work. No ethnic group is an Island! People that succeed in breaking away from bigotry have more than 80% chance of being very successful.

Religion / Re: Have You Ever Experienced Or Witnessed A Notable Miracle? by Etfash(m): 10:53am On Jun 21, 2020
I have seen a number of them.

In 1998, I joined one Pentecostal church that had come to our town 2 years earlier. Then there was this brother who was always falling sick, he was a sickle cell patient. The guy was prayed for and the tests returned AA. The brother was still alive as at 2018 when I saw him. You can go to Living Faith Church at Ajase Ipo Road, Ilorin, he is one of the ministers there.

The second one was the healing of a boy from the school of the dumb in Oyo. His teacher brought him to a crusade held at the old airport in Ibadan by Pst. W. F Kumuyi.

After the ministration which was on Blind Bartimaeus, I can NEVER forget, he wanted to pray and asked that nobody should say amen until the end, and that afterwards people should begin to check themselves.

People who had experienced a miracle were urged to shout hallelujah wherever they were while everywhere was silent.
He prayed and after the last "in Jesus' name", the large crowd shouted, AMEN! This was followed by a great silence..

Suddenly, all over the place, there were shouts of Hallelujah. Among those who had been healed was this boy who was brought there by his teacher.. I wept like a baby when this boy began to hear and was talking like a child who just started learning to speak. He had never heard or spoken in his life.

The last one was a sick woman who I prayed for as a student evangelist in the Akufo area of Oyo state. The lady was bedridden, she was a Muslim, perhaps she still is. Even though they were all Muslims, they never rejected this 20 year old boy from telling them about his God and praying for them. I requested that the sick woman came out to join us in the passage, then they told me she couldn't stand. Then I told them to listen to the message first and that I would pray for her afterwards. That was what I did and I left. I was back to the place after some weeks. I had even forgotten, but some people came around me including this woman, it was as if a G. O had come into town. The woman had been healed by the Almighty God.

God had respect for their patience, tolerance, my faith and obedience to go and witness.

In conclusion, miracles are God's acts in the lives of men, but they are provoked by our actions as human beings. I want to urge anyone who is yet to experience this or even witness any not to criticise it. Even if you are not a Christian, like the Syrophenician woman, you can partake of the crumbs from the table.

And today, I want to declare a comprehensive freedom from the spirit of infirmity upon that daughter of zion on the sick bed, from this moment forward, you are made whole by the power of the resurrected Christ!

Education / Re: Best of Drone Shots UNILAG (Day & Night Photos) by Etfash(m): 11:22am On May 30, 2020
I attended both schools and can categorically say that U.I is more beautiful, more spacious and less crowded when compared with Unilag.

In terms of educational standard, I feel they at par. U. I is ahead research-wise because that's what most of their lecturers do. Although some of them are venturing into consultancy now.

With respect to street sense and application of acquired knowledge in the outside world, I'll give it to Unilag.

So, I will employ a U. I graduate if I need loyalty but a Unilag graduate if I need somebody to go bring jobs for me.

Which of the 2 schools would I prefer for my child? Unilag.

Family / Re: Don’t Kill Your Husband. This Is How To Deal With Him If He Is Cheating On You by Etfash(m): 7:58am On May 21, 2020
Eulalia:

Shalom.

Thank you for your post and the testimony. I agree that the Lord makes a way of escape for us.

Before you were about to succumb to the pressure of lack, why did you always refuse to go upstairs with the man? Was it because anybody will beat you? Or was it because of your parents? I believe it was none of these. You didn't do it because you feared God.

Meanwhile, you could still have called that man to come pick you even if it was raining. You concluded that the rain started because God didn't want you to go there. But in the real sense, once again, you decided to yield to God, because you feared him (reverential fear).

Having said the above, a real man isn't really attracted to a woman because of possession. He strives to acquire wealth and masters the art of creating wealth. But once the wealth starts coming, the vultures begin to gather. It takes again, the fear of God to refuse these things. One reason he said, work out your salvation with fear and trembling.

My advice to every Christian is to make up their minds not to destroy their relationship with God on the altar of adultery or fornication as the case may be. I have not had the experience before, but I'm certain it will limit one's liberty in the place of prayer and open one up to avoidable attacks.

Please the above is for Christians. If you are reading this but do not believe in the existence of God, it is not for you. If I am to engage you, it would be from another level.

Family / Re: Don’t Kill Your Husband. This Is How To Deal With Him If He Is Cheating On You by Etfash(m): 6:15am On May 21, 2020
Most married men don't start out to be cheats.

Just pray a born again man will retain the fear of God in him when things become all rosy and the usual challenges of marriage come.

That fear of God is what keeps a Christian man and woman from cheating. He or she walks around with the consciousness of:

1. God can see me
2. How would I feel if the other party does the same?
3. Would I be able to continue relating with her and my children, where applicable, freely, knowing I have violated my oath of marriage?

The above also apply to intending couples. The fear of God makes you know that even if you are far from him or her, God can see you wherever you are.

Travel / Re: Guideline Request For Canada Relocation by Etfash(m): 1:14am On May 10, 2020
engeen:
Good morning peeps.

Please i need your candid advice on the best route to Canada. I'm 43yrs and wifey is 40yrs with two kids. we have a goal of relocating to Canada, however we learnt our age is a barrier, due to low point. so my questions are:

1. Should we apply for PNP (we don't have family in Canada) or
2. Should we apply for Student Visa (we don't plan coming back) so how will this work too?
3. If its PNP, which of the provinces is better
4. If its Student Visa, which school is better and is it compulsory to have IELTS
5. If IELTS is not a must which schools gives admission without IELTS
3. How do we go about any of the suggested options.

I will appreciate your responses.

God bless you all.

@Op, if the picture you have painted is the truth, kindly walk away. You don't owe her any explanation whatsoever.

Having said the above, please ALL GIRLS DESERVE A GOOD THING! Let them be the ones to prove otherwise by their actions. One reason I agreed with the poster who advised guys not to lay all their cards before a lady.
But please, don't always be about your interest, no matter your sex, If you are a guy, you may have a sister, your mother may be widowed and may intend to marry, you may have daughters... It is not always the best to think of yourself as just a man or woman. We are all interconnected to and interdependent on one another.

Natural resources that they can't properly utilize, now become its own bane. Imagine what presence of oil has done to Nigeria even at that it's grossly mismanaged.
The natural resources have become a curse to Africa, not because of it's presence but because of the African mentality.

Some countries with minimal or no natural resources are even doing better than African countries.
Take a look at Singapore with few natural resources and in relative comparison with Nigeria, what's your inference?

Your point's well understood.

But, do you think the natural resources can be enough a reason for "them" to want Africa?

So much has been said, perhaps you may not even see this. But I need to lend my voice.

First, I don't believe in you guys sleeping together since you are not married. This may be old fashioned, but it's my school of taught.

Having said the above, if all you have said about the guy is correct, you should have nothing to worry about. The guy told you he' s planning to move out of that apartment in May. You asked how much he has, he said about N30k, that's a start. May is still more than 30 days away.
I think you just need to ask for his budget for his prospective accommodation and evaluate his ability to meet up with the set target based on current realities.

While it is not wrong to rent the house for him, I won't advise that. I will suggest you support him by getting some basic household items for the house when it is rented.

Assumptions
My submission above is based on what you have said about him; and the assumption that he is not coming after you because of other interests like your money, class or connections etc.

Although this is quite stale, Op made a lot of valid points. However, you also need to know that the VP is from a different school of taught.. "whatsoever your hand findeth to do, do it with all your might..". If he has been faithful to his own ideology, I am sure posterity will be kind to him.

Finally, no offence intended, guys we need to be more civil please. It appears to me as though some of us didn't go through the write-up before taking sides and issuing some not-so-great comments.

Food don done for haters of anything God or Christ!

You guys think you are being honest, but you are not! There's a personality within you that makes you always want to condemn whatever represents God.

Think about it, when these same people give scholarships, you find a way to trivialise it and condemn them; if they had just decided to shutdown without meeting anywhere, you will scream "charlatans, Corona Virus has prevented them from serving their God"; when they are poor and some how they get known, you scream "publicity stunt to raise funds." ; when they are rich, you condemn them "Pastorpreneurs" etc.

Ask yourself why you always hate on things that have to do with God, it's simply because there is another fellow inside you who resist anything God.

Finally, have you noticed who you call "celebrities", those whose fan(s) you are? That is the real person that fellow always want you to aspire to be...

Reject that demon today and embrace the Holy Spirit of God.

In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth, and the earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the earth...

And God said... Let there be...... (a new beginning).

What happend to the initial earth?

The heaven never needed to be recreated because it was never in darkness or void. Why is that?

And there was war in heaven, Michael and his angels fought with the dragon, and there was no more place for it in heaven..... Woe onto the inhabitants of the earth for the devil is come down into it... Jesus said, I saw Satan fall like lightning upon the earth (big bang?).

So, where is the contradiction?

For short term play PZ is okay at the current price, but the chartists can tell us what the chart is saying.

Dangote Sugar should give you a dividend yield of 10% in the next 40 months.

The third quarter financials of Unilever is not encouraging.

Why don't you look at the direction of the banks, building materials, food and beverages, agricultural sectors

Thank you so much sir.

Which of the companies that specialize in the bolded would you recommend?

Also, is it a good time to buy Nestlé shares?

It depends on growth of the business and if the business is selling at the its intrinsic value or below it.

The most important thing is to buy right,. most of the stocks bought during the banking and insurance consolidation exercise in 2006 werd sold at overvalued prices hence investors lost money.

The bolded is so true.
Meanwhile, for some of us who seem to be late to this party, do you consider the current value of Nestlé's shares as being overpriced?
Will you advise an investor who specializes in long-term investment to buy it as is?
Which of the following stocks would you advise one to buy now: PZ, Unilever, Nestlé and DANGSUGAR? Kindly arrange in order of your preference, starting with your most preferred.

Thank you.

For somebody in need of a fuel efficient vehicle, preferably an SUV that is very reliable; one that will be used for running errands, but one good enough for a middle income earner, which of the following vehicles would you recommend:

Toyota Highlander
Toyota Rav4
Honda CRV?

Please be free to make further recommendations apart from the above list, should there be any need for it.

Religion / Re: Adeboye: I Will Build A Church As Big As Ibadan Before I Die by Etfash(m): 2:54pm On Dec 15, 2019
Maximus69:

The flaws in Baba's statement is simple and easy to point out, but Churchgoers have been blinded by credulity so it can't be that easy for people without the knowledge of God to figure out that the man is FAKE!

Note the word "I will"

Take note of the person who said something similar in ancient times! Well his name is David (second Israelite's King). This man wanted to build a house for God but the idea was rejected because David has "too much blood in his hands"

So David passed on the task to his son Solomon who later built a marvelous temple for God in Jerusalem.

Now let's look critically into the issue. David and Solomon were Kings having authority over the resources of their nation that's why they could divert such huge material resources to such a gigantic project.

If we're to look at this Baba talking, he claims to be a Christian and according to the Bible no single individual amongst Christians ever embarked on such a project (to build a house for God).

Christians in the first century come together and materials were gathered from the purses of each member (as they're able to spare) and they spend each dime on what's necessary. Because whatever they do is to the glory of God, so none of them could say "I will do this" since the money belongs to the church and NOT any individual!

With this statement Baba has exposed himself as the alpha and omega of all the contributions those Churchgoers under him brings in!

Even Jesus Christ has no such say on what was given to his group, rather he allowed the cash to be in the hand of one of his followers. And when they were in dare need pay for something really serious Jesus asked them to go and use the money they find IN A FISH, why?

Because he is not in charge of whatever is in the treasury, it belongs to the group to decide what to do or how to spend it! undecided

Your response would have been apt, only if Adeboye said "I will...".

You should have taken time to verify the real thing the man said. I watched it and that was not what he said.

Lastly, as christians, we must not be too quick to rebuke an elder, especially in a public space like this. Apostle Paul urged Timothy not to do this. I believe the same admonition is equally important today.

Op, I don't know the reason you placed this here and especially in the way you have done it, but what Adebaye said was what you quoted at the latter part of your write up, which was not what you emphasized. Also, Adeboye only said that as a follow-up to several statements he made earlier.

Nothing, Nestle is one of the defensive stocks that can be used as an hedge against devaluation and inflation. This is a company that has continously maintained a double digit profit growth.

We have infrastructural and housing deficits in Nigeria, if you are a resident of Lagos you will find out that cements are now used for road constructions in the state because of their durability.

The market leader in that sector is Dangote cement followed by Lafarge, the future is very bright for players in that sector. We now enjoy self sufficiency in cement production to the extent that we now export to other countries in Africa.

Thank you so much for this important information.
