The Christian Social Responsibility arm of the RCCG executed the project. They have been involved in several projects across the country, from water supply to environmental sanitation and construction activities.

The leadership of the CSR group may have executed the project to honour the G.O, NOT because he asked for it.

Politics is in most places, from our homes to the larger society. The establishment of the University of Transportation management in Katsina state supervised by the Hon. Minister for transportation is a case in point. Sometimes, its not because the leader asked for it but because subordinates do it to honour or gain favour from the leader.

As for those asking what some other church leaders are doing, you can visit their locality and ask. It's not everyone that is comfortable with bringing their charitable works to the media. I don't condemn those who do. But Christ spoke more in favour of the former group of people than he did about the latter group.

Finally, I hope the exclusive list thing is done away with soonest, then we will see more of this.

It doesn't work that way sir. There is no one who can say in a full year, he or she doesn't get anything else apart from his or her salary. In the workplace, people who earn least are often tipped by few generous bosses. The tips usually mean nothing to those giving it, but to those receiving it, the money means a lot to them, so they put it into something else. Such people are very, very frugal. They make the most of opportunities. You and I may always feel, we have so and so qualifications and look down on what we currently earn, just imagine what people are saying about N50k now. They don't think like that. Many of us cannot imagine buying houses or lands in certain locations because they are far below our status, at least that's what some of us think, these category of people go farther away. They buy the land at almost a give away. You go to Superstores to buy your food and allied products, they wait for the next oja or eke market, Mile 12, Ile Epo etc. They are not as distracted as we are.. when they see N1k free money, they immediately keep somewhere for about 5 blocks on that land. In 20 years, while you and I are still waiting to get a kind of property in a choice location, development already located where they bought such properties, and we start wishing we acted when they did.

In my place of work, virtually all our drivers have their houses, but very, very few senior offices do.

Life is in stages, if you earn N50k, draw up a plan and focus on actualising, avoid distractions and see those dreams coming through.

If you love someone, in this case a lady, the first thing that will come to your mind should not be sex! No man starts fatherhood by expecting something from his children. He cares and nurtures the child until the child naturally returns the favour.

If you truly love a lady for marriage, I believe you will be too busy trying to contribute positively to her life and yours that you won't even think of sex.

I got married about 5 years ago, I don't think that is too far away. So, I'm very much in the same generation as many here. I never even contemplated having sex!

So, What can the leadership of Nigeria do now to salvage the current situation of the country?


If I may, the first few steps would be to:

1. Arrest anyone connected to the current insecurity situation in Nigeria and give them a public trial similar to the Oputa panel

2. Freeze all the accounts of the suspects in 1 until their cases are determined.

3. Engage all traditional rulers across the country. Convince them to keep the peace within their jurisdiction or risk being deposed.

4. Set up a reconciliatory committee composed of respected people (religious, political and traditional leaders) across major ethnic groups to visit various regions to commence a healing process.

5. Cut down on cost of governance and deemphasize monetary entitlements to political office holders.

Those concerned about whether or not religious centres are being built and not centres for memtal development. Well, the church is the greatest centre of mental and spiritual development. But let's say other centres are needed: what about Covenant University, a school that produced the Architect himself and many other outstanding graduates today; Landmark University is doing outstanding work in Agriculture; the Faith Academy group of schools and Kingdom Heritage are they not development centres?

Some will come and say, they should build imdustries that will employ people. Are the schools, housing, power projects even the ongoing project not major employers of labour? All Living faith churches have at least 1 full time pastor. During the lockdown, more than 10k churches were planted, mainly in the villages (this doesn't look like the best places to gather money to me). People will pastor these churches. How many banks have 10k staff?

Some will then come and say merit is jettisoned for nepotism. A more qualified architect should have been selected.. will such people choose a stranger to inherit their properties rather that their children?

Another said, how much was he paid? What is that to you? Somebody has been working on carious projects, a well qualified adult. If he wasn't satisfied with his pay, i believe he would have left.

I may not be a fan of building church edifices as against feeding the hungry and making life better for the poor, especially in the church, but I make exemption with Winners, because NO MAN TRULY FOLLOWS the teaching of the Word of Faith as preached by Bishop Oyedepo CAN be or remain poor! I will can consider buying a property with tenants if it a a distress sale, selling at 20% discount and I have gotten correct legal advice from a property lawyer and I have obtained a legally binding tripartite agreement between the seller, current tenants and myself
