emmanuelewumi:I apologize for this digression please. What happens to share price of a multinational organization like NESTLE should the Naira be devalued? |
isangjohnson:First he will pay about #60,896.64 monthly for 20 years, almost #731,000.00 annually. If he pays 4m upfront, he will pay about #32,239.40 monthly for 20 years, about #387,000.00 annually. If he invested the 4m in Tbills at 11% annually, he gets 440k annually which can be compounded and so on. At the current rate 11.296%, the FGN Savings bond (3 years) will put about #113,000.00 on your table quarterly from the 4m and that will happen for 3 years.... the options are much. I will advise that the 4m be invested and reinvested for 20 years. It should be worth over 25m by then. Tell him to enjoy his accommodation and invest his 4m for 20 years. |
@ahiboilandgas, I enjoy your comments and sincerely, some mysteries you have unravelled on this platform over time have made me know you desire that others would grow. @Namz, the intent of the initial posts was borne out of disappointment and not jelousy or envy. He had probably looked at some of these people as mentors, but now he found that many of them actually don't fulfill his own perception of "humanness"; honesty and fair play which should be the foundation for wealth creation in the first place. Personally, I am happy things are going this way in Nigeria because: 1. Many honest earners have been considered lazy by unsuspecting people. 2. Some homes are no longer together because certain folks have come with unwholesome wealth to fuel otherwise resolvable crisis. 3. It will serve as deterrent to many who are intending to go the same way 4. We need to emphasize on honest wealth and not just wealth from anywhere. |
Hephzibahdrycle:Know how to redeem your funds. |
eniorisha:Your intention is to legitimately break loose from financial insufficiency, which is noble. However, your plan needs to be more informed in order to enable you achieve your goals. Having said the above, i have a few questions to ask you: 1. How were you able to gather 1.1m? 2. Has that source ceased? 3. Can you reawaken that stream or adapt your current reality so as to get it back? If your answers to the last 2 is Yes and No respectively, then: 4. Would you survive if you didn't have the 1.1m? If yes, how? Weigh the options, identify the pros and cons and get back to the house. You will need to do a serious assessment here. It may take you days; put pen to paper and get results that are close to reality. Whatever you do, ensure you don't lose that money. All the best. |
tintingz:Since I am not all-knowing, I can't claim to have all answers, one reason I still need God. The above notwithstanding, let me attempt to respond to your question as follows: God is the Almighty - YES. However, He doesn't impose His will; one reason you and I have a free will. Unfortunately, the Omniscient nature of the Almighty God makes him come across as one who determined the destiny of all flesh. His Omnipotence also makes it further difficult for many to see him as good. But, come to think of it, God sees the end from the beginning and puts plans in place to address issues to come. God knew what choices Adam and Eve, King Saul, King David, Judas Iscariot, Peter etc. would make before they made them and He made his decision based on what he saw upfront. The question many of us begin to ask is "why didn't he stop men from making the wrong choices?". I believe He has the power to do so, but coercion isn't an act of love. So, the embodiment of love himself cannot be seen as such. But then, He gives second chances out of his benevolence. |
Why do we pray when God already knows what we need? 1. Because he commanded us to pray 2. When we pray, we demonstrate our dependence on Him and our trust in His ability to help us. 3. Burdens are naturally lifted in the place of prayers 4. Light (solution) comes in the place of prayer 5. Our confidence and strength is renewed in the place of prayer and so much more. Although God knows what our needs are par time, circumstances of life make it difficult to acknowledge this fact often. This is what brings in unbelief, weariness and distrust. However, when we pray, these burdens are lifted, we become light and our faith builds; God becomes pleased and solution comes. Does God answer all prayers? Depending on your definition of ANSWERS, a yes or no to the question will be correct. I believe a NO to some prayer points may mean not yet or not my will; those for me are still answers. We must understand that effective prayers are those made according to God's will on the foundation of holiness (your obedience walk with God after you have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus) and strengthened by Faith. |
billtommy:You can open the domiciliary account under your Naira account and request that charges on the dom. account be taken from the Naira account. Regarding the Tbills and Eurobond, the rate for the latter is definitely lower, the difference in rate could be as high as 6%. If you consider that the Naira may shed more than 6% of its current value, then, the Eurobond may be beneficial in the short term; in the long term, this is not guaranteed ( personally, I feel the Naira will eventually get stronger after this year, because of the reduction in Food importation and potential 70%+ cut in petroleum products import which I envisage will cut the demand on the dollar significantly). |
senit:I don't have a Stanbic Mutual Fund account but I think you just login and click on redeem. Then enter your secret codes and get credited within 24 hours - my wife has it. Going forward, it's good practice to know how to cash out from an investment before going into it in the first place. |
Daddybomboy:You are talking about 500% profit in 12 months! What legal business is that? |
Bluezy13:May God continually watch over you there man. Please watch and pray. |
Atigba:The fulani people make up less than 10% of Nigeria' population, yet, many part of the country seems to be under their siege. This is not because they are more in number, but because of their nature. The statistics of Kwara state is not as clear cut as you have painted. Lastly, how many Jews believe in Christ Jesus today? Does it mean Jesus didn't preach to His own people? Somethings aren't as logical as some others. |
JeromeBlack:Good one. I didn't like the "see olodos" part though. From the question, there are only 2 possibilities.. if you are a man, you are an inlaw to Theresa whether legal or not [right] but if you are a female, then you must be Theresa's daughter. Note The above submission is because we have limited the possibilities. If your daughter is adopted for instance then so many options would become right. |
chigo4u:Opening balance used to be N250k. If the bolded is true, then they're coming to reality gradually. |
First, if your "into each other" means premarital affairs, please stop it and ask God for mercy. Concerning those traits you are now seeing, have you discussed it with her? Are those traits you saw in her that made you prepare to go all the way before still there? 2 things may be responsible for this sudden change in your disposition: 1. FEAR - What ifs? 2. Forces non-physical. My advice a) Ask yourself what you really want and see if she still fits in b) Call her and discuss with her c) Give yourselves some more time; it's not always advisable to rush into marriage or out of a relationship. d) Deal with your mind - YOU WILL NEVER CHEAT ON YOUR WIFE; IT'S NOT IN YOUR NATURE TO BETRAY TRUST. Remember: As a man thinks in his heart (mind, brain) so he is; guard your heart(mind, brain) with all diligence because out of it are the issues of life. Lastly, don't forget to embrace Jesus the Christ if you haven't; he is capable of introducing sweetness in any heart and marriage where he is invited and allowed to reign truly. |
raybestman:You have quoted that scripture wrongly, read Luke 7: 22 again for clarity. Note that prior to Christ' coming, no man ever did any of those miracles mentioned there in that scripture! It was easy to decipher then, not like today. However, since Christ knew what would happen in the last days, hear what My Lord and Saviour said "... such that if it were possible, they will deceive even the very ELECT". There are so many magicians and many non-Christ followers who do all you mentioned in your quotation there so, it means nothing. Meanwhile, your zeal was misdirected as you already started calling me names. Did I say the man is a devil? NO! Read again. |
A demon possessed girl was making serious money for her mistress - to the mistress, she was "God sent" The same demon possessed girl began to preach the gospel, telling men and women to believe the true servants of God who had preached to them - "God rejected her and her service" A man who got money through ritualistic means may also become charitable - he may become acceptable to men, but not God. Do not base your faith on any action or word of anyone but on Christ' as clearly written in the scriptures so that you will not become disappointed, offended and lose your soul eventually. The devil also shows himself as angel of light from time to time... base your faith on Christ. |
blackslayer:If you did the maths of what has happened, you will see it doesn't add up. Why do you think your maths now will add up. "I don't agree with your analogy" or "Your example is different from the issue at hand" would have indicated propriety on your part. All the best. |
gypsey:Their case is not going to be as "realistic" because having a child at that age isn't. In view of this, the one who gave them the child at this time of their lives is able to keep, provide and sustain the child. Have you not seen some orphans who live better than those with both parents? It is not always wise to view life only through the mirror of our limited imaginations. |
blackslayer:Life is not that simple. If it was, no child would die before his/her parent. They are not being selfish; why don't people who need jobs stop looking for them after even 10 years? You don't become selfish because you desire something noble and pursue it. You should rejoice with them and wish them well. Age is just a number... |
You can do both, but if the location of the Ministry job isn't safe from the Freight business, I will advise you to ignore the Ministry job and embrace the private business. However, please, be sure your uncle isnt going to change his mind. |
Is there anyone still bidding with Standard Chartered Bank? Their rates were almost always below 0.01 of the CBN closing rates those days. |
ahiboilandgas:Thank you again. What about these FMCGs, do they require as many as 10 trucks? Do you have any knowledge of trucking in that industry: payments etc? |
Thank you so much Ahiboilandgas for opening many eyes, including mine, to these money making options. I noticed that many of us have been asking questions about the BDC, perhaps because there was no picture of any losses on the business posted . I am a culprit too.But then, how can one start trucking business; if you don't mind, could you please share your experience here? I'm sure you may still write a book on all these in the future "Building Millions in a sick economy; My experience" and you can always refer to this webpage in the book.Apologies to those who may see all these as derailing the thread. We are only sourcing for more funds to put in Treasury Bills. Thank you. |
ahiboilandgas:Edited. Information is indeed power; I used to think BDC is an exclusive preserve of the abokis. @ the bolded. So, the 35m gets returned with 7% interest after the license is secured. Please just how long would the 35m stay with CBN; I mean how long does it takes to get the license after making the deposit? Six months! I guess all internship can be done during this period too. Also, are there other things involved: any inspections from CBN or their designate etc.? I believe the last 2 pages, the current and perhaps a few more to come will go down in history as some of the greatest revelations here on Nairaland. |
ahiboilandgas:Great! I see focus and courage. I have been motivated a lot by the wealth of information from this platform. It's actually yielding fruits. But sometimes, it's good to hear possibilities from people who have gone through the hurdles leading to them. |
Gforce2019:It's not impossible. If his investment is about N80m in Tbills he'll make 800k/monthly even if the 364 days rate isn't more than 12.6%. Now, I believe he has investment in othwr sources. Having said the above, my question is how were you ahiboilandgas and many others on this platform able to achieve this feat in such a shortwhile: at under 40? Please this is not a querry but an inquest into some aspects of wealth creation others have explored that some of us have not. |
Good day house. Please can I get introduced to a stockbroker? The last one I worked with was in Ibadan 12 - 13 years ago as a student investor. I don't have his contact number again. Thank you. |
Jubilancy:Are you married please? I asked because if you are, you will know and agree with me that you can never completely know and understand your partner before marriage, and sometimes even in marriage. However, marriage, when done as it should can be the best thing ever to happen to a man or woman. For those considering baby mama etc. well, know this for sure, what a man sows he shall also reap: if you impregnate somebody's daughter - If you have a child, you will know how difficult it is to father or nurture one - be sure, one day, that your treasured daughter will become some random guy's, who is so afraid of taking up responsibility, baby mama. Finally, I am surprised at the way people come out to condemn actions like the one reported by the Op; this is who the present day society is! A morally deficient one with confused sexuality. Who are the people we strive and desire so much to be like? Are they not the so called celebrities; many of whom cannot even take up responsibility to husband a woman, father a child full-time and/or endure the initial pressures of marriage? Well, this is who the society has become. |
Most of these people coming out as friends of the poor today do not give a kobo to the poor. The truth is many of you guys are simply siblings to Judas Iscariot the thief and robber who claimed that an expensive gift given to Christ should have been given to the poor. But, I must not end this comment without stating in clear terms, NO MAN WILL FOLLOW THE TEACHINGS OF BISHOP DAVID OYEDEPO I KNOW THAT WILL BE POOR. Unfortunately, some people only appear to follow the teachings but are not actually doing so. Lastly, it is indeed true that the poor shall not cease from the land. |
I hope it starts soon enough. |
Denizsmart:Great news there. 1. Do you want to stay in Nigeria? 2. Which career path do you intend to tow? 3. Do you have sponsors willing to take you until you are able to take yourself? 4. Would you like to compete with the best and the finest in the world? A sincere response to all the above will enable you make effectual decision(s). |
. I am a culprit too.
and you can always refer to this webpage in the book.
