Business / Have A Business Idea? Get In Here For Partnership. by Etfash(m): 4:29pm On Sep 29, 2018
Good day all.
I am opening this thread to encourage young people who have functional businesses but with poor funding or who have ideas but are limited by capital.

Here are my intentions:
People with business ideas or functional businesses will come in and give a brief on the business: you don't have to be too detailed. State the basics and details will be given only to people who are interested in the idea (s).

If anyone is interested in partnering with anybody, don't just send your money, do your due diligence to ensure that the risks associated with the business or business ideas have been well identified and controlled.

Meanwhile, please don't just come here and drop your contact numbers or any sensitive information about yourself or anyone. If you need to contact anybody send a Personal Message, if you don't know how, say so and you will be rightly guided.

Also, I will advise once again that each person be open minded, that idea may need polishing to become achievable; the business may also need just one more touch to get it to the next level, don't refrain from partnership.

Lastly, it is not compulsory to comment, if you don't feel up to it or concerned, kindly pass. We should avoid ethnic, political, amoral and religious discussions here. I believe appropriate quarters are available for all of those.

Admin should kindly help take this thread to FP to allow for more viewing and followership.

Thank you.

I have been learning alot from this thread. Thanks to you all. However, I have a clarification. I invested an amount in Tbills using FBN. I wanted the primary market rate. The whole amount was deducted on Monday, Sept 24th with the explanation "TBills:NTB, 91days" and the interest hasn't been credited to my account till now.

Is this right? I thought I was supposed to get my interest upfront? Please help. Thank you.

FirstBank debits you as soon as you complete and submit the NTB form. They will bid next week Wednesday and your upfront interest should drop by Thursday.

it appears FBN is part of this ongoing strike action.i went to their branch here in PH to renew my TB but customers were restricted entrance to their premises.

So is Stanbic. I went to one of their branches here yesterday to add flesh to the online account I opened but was given cold shoulder: "the bank is closed".

Please the file which contained the schedule of NTB that was posted on this thread earlier didnt open on my phone. So, for anyone that may take offence at my question, please don’t be.

My question: Was there an auction yesterday?

FBN is doing well, but the customer service in my new location isn't encouraging.

Did you take time to add up the numbers?
If the information is correct and there are no other results elsewhere, from the 82 Polling units above, PDP will pull 6, 753 votes, APC 5,823 and SDP 3,225 votes even after one of the wards where there was a record of more votes than number of registered voters has been expunged.

FBN bid for 364 days actually failed.
My fund was returned to my account earlier today.

By the way, this is my first experience with this.
I will proceed to one of their branches to check available secondary rates tomorrow morning.

For my mind, that money was already gone.

How much was realized from crude oil receipts in the last three years, compared to the time of pdp, if you cannot put figures to that, you are just a typical hypocrite

What is the value of the dollar to Naira then?
Which currency do we spend here in Nigeria?
Don't you think the current administration spends less to execute projects than the previous government?
How much has the current government borrowed?
Add all the above and you will see that both administrations are the same.

As a Senate President, how well has Saraki faired? I feel we should be more concerned about his performance in that office than debating partisan politics.

For me, the issue of whether or not to impeach Saraki is predicated on personal and not national interest. To this end, I will advise that we ignore this group of self-centered deceitful and highly unpatriotic fellows. Let's work hard to ignore and replace them in due course.
Nigeria must be great again!

Until we recognise that people are people all over the world: good and evil people; rich and poor; smart and underprivileged ones can be found anywhere in this world, true development and unity is not in view.

Sometimes i feel it is those with little minds that are tribalistic.

We should open up to the endless possibilities and greatness inherent in unity, rather than clinging to the emptiness, poverty, strife and eventual death that come with tribalism.

Imagine senator of FRN , with senator like this Nigeria have no future, very childish and not responsible.

We should be careful what we say. If he was your father, would you say the above?
Tunde Idiagbon was killed and many like him, heaven didn't fall. His refusal to go to the stronghold of his enemy (Lokoja) for me is wisdom. You don't give your enemy an edge over you when you can avoid it.
We have seen lawmakers fight and toss chairs at one another in Nigeria, there is nothing new under the sun.
He must do all that needs to be done to stay alive and prevail against his enemy.

Unfortunately, no body must talk again in Nigeria. Even the retired General that spoke lost people from his village as a warning sign. He is yet to say anything again after all.

In my view, Nigeria is at the verge of extinction. If the current crop of leaders should force themselves in again, I doubt if things will ever be the same again.

I notice how some people still clamour for the current leadership, trust me, if any of this people has lost a loved one to the killing spree currently embarked upon by the so called Fulani Herdsmen or you see what their victims go through before they die, these people will never want anything that looks like this current leadership.

When the president was away for months, on health ground, did you guys notice that the killing reduced? The presence of the current Head seems to embolden these guys and some dudes are clamouring for the same leadership.

Why Germany off?

Language ish: you will enroll for German language at one point or the other.
When you finish, you will have 2 years to work too but then, Language issues.
Educational standard is great but still trails that of the other 2.

Lastly, payment of fees, where you are required to pay, isn't as flexible. The $couple of thousand bond thing makes it unattractive to me.
Like I said before, all the above are my views.

Travel / Re: Canada, US Or Germany by Etfash(m): 7:09pm On Mar 14, 2018
If money matter is settled, you should take Germany off the list in my opinion. If eventual immigration is important to you, you may want to choose Canada over the U.S. But, if you just want to study, stay back and gain experience a bit and return to Nigeria or immigrate to another country should you don't succeed in getting F1 visa in the U.S, then U.S is good.

Summary
1. What do you want?
2. What are your long term goals?
3. How much do you have?

Answer all the above and it won't be difficult for you making a decision.

Car Talk / Re: Army Bans Trucks On Lagos Bridges by Etfash(m): 6:32pm On Mar 07, 2018
I don't know why many people still see Nigeria as a sane country.
In 2006, the army was the one that expelled the incesaant hold up along Unibadan/Bodija road. Prior to this time, you will not believe that 2 vehicles could pass together on each of those lanes, because these thugs will clog one side of the road. Road users will horn continually to pass. When the army came, I never knew that place was that wide. A guy tried to misbehave, the beating he received made him realize he wasn't relating with the police or other paramilitary bodies.

Guys, Nigeria has gone haywire and an average Nigerian has developed somega unusually thick skin at the expense of his or her neighbor'so wellbeing.
With the military coming to the scene, I just imagine how free that place would be now.

Let's work with what we have and who we are. We don't have to do everything the way it is done in other climes, we are a unique people. We should always factor our uniqueness into our policies. This will enable us achieve our objectives in a timely and cost effective manner.

Op, your moniker says "real". If you are real, I will advise you go by what HRHQUEENPHIL suggested.

Forget about who will look at you or say anything, don't mind anybody! If you are poor they will still run away and speak Ill of you anyway.

You cannot fail there, trust me. Just ensure you are soaked in prayers as you embark on it. In no time you will be supervising your employees who will be doing the frying.
