Canal+ is launching their new French learning device tomorrow. Heard the stuff is specifically designed for French teachers and French students alike.

Y'all are invited.

Salut. Please does the 160k being paid to Alliance Française cover classes or is it only for the TEF exams? I have been trying all day to call them but their lines are switched off, I'm not sure if I have the right number. Anyone with the correct phone number should please give me.
You can dm me for the number of one of their staff. She might not appreciate me sharing her number on a public forum.

Regarding your question, the payment is for the exam alone. The exam fee has been on the rise for a while now; the earlier one writes, the better.

Bonne chance !

My people good morning o, may this week be blessed for all of us.

Please do I need to show proof of funds before entering the pool or is it when submitting application after ITA?
All documents are after ITA

Good morning seniors

Does any one know if travel is truly meant to be included in the address history section of the schedule A.. by travel I mean trips of one week there abouts for holidays nothing substantial
Those wouldn't qualify as residential addresses, I believe.

Please my friend Bsc in Law aand also went to law school. Wch ECA will he use to favor him thanks
BSc Law?

Lol.... We're all here to help but bro, take your time to ask your questions properly; show some regards to the people you're asking for help.

Your friend can use any of WES or IQAS for his Law degree bearing in mind the prons and cons of each.

Ok bro, you evaluated both you BSc and MSc, I thought only the highest qualification is needed?
You're 100% right, my brother.

You see, in the olden days, there was no much information in the land. Men were confused. We made a lot of mistakes back then and spent unnecessarily! But I'm glad, things are better now.

May the gods guide and guard you through out this journey. May they give you eagle eyes to see beyond the immediate. And may my blessings find their way to you.

Now, go . Go and prosper!

Ok, what is making me weak is wed having to contact the school to verify everything they send. See those guys for my school, academic criminals. You'll have to persuade, rant and bribe. I'm scared of the mental drain.
I can imagine.

Relax, bro. I'm sure you're not the first to use WES services in your school. Most schools are already used to WES verification mail. But you're right, they might still want you to drop something (though my own schools -both BSc and Msc- responded almost immediately without I having to contact them). If you have, just give them and move on. All those things are just distractions from the end goal.

Vraiment ? shocked shocked shocked shocked We learn every day.
Yes. In European French (as used in France), there's a mandatory space before and after exclamation marks, question marks, semicolons, colons, percentage sign, currency symbol, hash and guillemet (this is slightly different from what's obtainable in Canadian French).

In addition, there are other differences between French punctuation marks and those of English language like the replacement quotation marks with guillement, use of dash in direct speech, and replacement of comma with dot in numbers.

Come come come.....

NJ has gotten PPR
Etrange has ITA
DanMisla is doing Ontario
Ayboye has gotten a job
Na only Bellerin still dey

.....sooooo nobody wants to talk again ABI!!! angry Issorai

Ok o..... me I'm a March 30 candidate. AF have moved from yaba...they say we may write our exam in Ikeja.

For EE I'm cramming everything from address to how to introduce yourself....intro at the beginning and the summary paragraph...leaving my worries to be reduced to the actual 3 arguments depending on the topic on the day.

AF prep classes have been useful. They are 9 to 3pm starting the first weekend of the month of each TEF exam.

Mariah? How did it go in Feb?
Scard? How jacking?
BootyliciousHon? Did you decide to write in the end?

A tous....bonne chance! Courage...

....et joyeux semaine de la langue francaise et de la francophonie
Mdr.... Mais non !

I'm here. Just that I'm at that stage of my application where all I have to to is sit down and wait. Nevertheless, I come here anytime I can to see if we've got questions to solve.

Trust you're preparing comme il faut.

@bolded, there's always a space before the exclamation mark and the question mark in French language. wink

Natalie27:
hello everyone , I just thought to drop this here to encourage anyone going through the IELTS hurdle.
I wrote the exam for the first time in July 2018,I was really confident about it
,*after all if i had studied french ? Writing and speaking for 4years and even done my dissertation and défense en français what could be so hard about this English exam .. Plus I had written TOEFL before and aced it.. little did I know IELTS was listening to all my mind bragging..

First result LSWR. 9,8,6,7.5 I saw this result at about 12.57am and cried myself to sleep .. I requested for a remark and it was upgraded to 6.5.

I got another opportunity to write in October (because of my work schedule , it is sort of hard to get weekends off). This time I even bought ielts liz videos .. results LSWR .. 8.5,7.5,6.5,7.5

I asked for remark again but it came out negative ..

January I was ready.., this was a new year.. new grace and new everything . I decided to try a new environment . I was fasting for the new year and asking St Joseph to intercede .I decided to try something new MOD. Although the examiners are not as organised as BC i found the environment more suiting because the exam takers were fewer than what you would have in a BC venue. It was a school in lekki and it was such a peaceful environment ... Moreover I had used ielts advantage to prepare and I understood better what was expected of me .. for every essay structure I knew what every sentence should contain, however When i saw my results I was devastated ..

LSWR 8,7.5,7,6.5

I did not give up because I had my eyes on the prize and I knew the next one was definitely the last .. so I wrote again March 2nd ... ladies and gentlemen results are........

LSWR : 9,7,7.5,75

I was elated when I saw this ... my family and close friends called as if l had told them I had gotten the golden mail..

Moral of this is that we should never give up instead research and find it what works for you .. for me I used ieltsonlinetest to practice reading and listening and according to glittering star did not find the real exam so daunting .. i never practiced speaking .. In fact I was expecting less because I almost missed this last speaking (story for another day) then for writing I practiced with the real answer script so during the main exams I could tell when I had reached 150 or 250 without even counting .. Plus i focused on knowing the structures of every way type and reading different sample types .. I could say I wrote just 3 essays while practicing ..

Thank you e fam... I am a silent reader but you guys here are amazing .... May all our heart desires come through .
Congrats! With this determination, there's no stopping you.
