Good one but for me, I'm not going anywhere. I travelled to the same America many times and in September 2004 for the very first time in my life and on a virgin passport. I was barely a year on the job after my nysc that time. I was on my very first annual leave after confirmation of my appointment. I wasn't well paid that time but I could say I was comfortable compared to what my peers were earning. I saw America and I was like...this is a new world grin. Maybe the guy and I travelled the same month or year as he celebrated his 15th year in yankee. I came back after spending 2 weeks and people were calling me names. They said I had been charmed , bla, bla, bla. Meanwhile, I had foreseen the huge opportunities here in Nigeria. A few years later, I became independent, doing my business.....
Ok, I get it. America didn't work out for you. You didn't/don't pass through what the young man described. You had a good job even before leaving so it's not as if live was that bad for you here. And gladly, you took the right decision for yourself. Now you can enter where the OP can't enter.

It's all good. But then the OP never really insinuated he's entering places celebrities alone enter. He only attempted to point out the difference between his life back home and his life now abroad. Apparently, things weren't working out for him before he left like it was in your case. So the call was not for your class but for folks like him who he believes would do better out there. I believe he wrote this as a man who wants others to enjoy what he enjoys and that's honourable.

It's not a hidden thing that they have better economies out there. It's also not hidden that some people make it here. But that shouldn't undermine the zeal of those eager to leave for genuinely better lives. Besides, there is no telling if you would have even made it bigger if you had remained there in America. Let people go and see for themselves especially the ones with age on their sides. There's no better time.

Peace!

I don't understand. I was reading your message waiting to get to the part where you'd now relate your unsolicited story to the OP but no, you just wanted to shout you've been to America. I'm sure a lot of people here have been to America, bro. It'd have been better if you had added how your American experience fueled your decision not to relocate so others would learn from it.

Cool?

See the way we're all shouting "my guy this, my guy that" and making light of the issue. Imagine if it were a lady that did this. The story would have been different on this thread. You'd start seeing things like "these girls are not loyal!", "women and indecision!", "obviously she's still wants to LovePeddler around", "slay queens!" Etc. After you'll tell me feminists are just chasing shadows.

Back to the OP: a man who cannot make up his mind till the wedding day, is that one a man?

J'adore votre rédaction. C'est un article élogieux en faveur de mon pays préféré mais j'ai des trucs à ajouter.

Québec is not the only French speaking province really. It is the only predominantly French speaking province. Other provinces like Ontario, New Brunswick, etc. have French speaking communities. Even Québec has English speaking communities in Montréal.

Nice one, bro.

lawaljuliuss:
it's not a crime. they are a couple
The term couple does not necessarily mean they are married. As the OP implied in the lastsentence, the lady is married to another. Besides, public display of sexual acts is actually a crime here. But then again, if they were well enclosed within the boutique, the person secretly videoing them is the culprit here (if it's not CCTV). That's csuse adultery is not a crime in Nigerian.

Good morning bro.

internationalman:
Hey does the fact that you can't take your baby to work mean they are harmful?
Brotherly, I never asked him to take the weed to his office.

Going by your analogy, the fact that you're a working class woman does not stop you from giving birth. You mustn't take the baby to your office. He could still smoke weed without taking it to work. But no, he wouldn't.

Read, he didn't just say he doesn't smoke it why at the office. He said he doesn't even do it at all unless he's on vacation. That's to tell you it has an adverse effect on his work. Otherwise, nothing should stop him from taking it even within the period in which he's not vacation provided he doesn't take it to the office.

I'm not saying weed is bad or not. I can't tell, I don't take it. I'm only pointing out the fallacies in his argument for the sake of everyone reading this. Let us be clear so people will not be misled. That's all.

And again if I was doing an energy zapping job I probably would be taking it before going to work..
So what would happen if you take it before going to work now that you're not doing an energy zapping job?

As for Me weed was the best thing that happened to me.

When I was having trouble sleeping it made me sleep like a baby

When I lost appetite it made me eat like a glutton

When I was feeling timid it made me brave..

All these things happened with zero side effects..

Lastly no matter the amount of hatred I had for you, weed would surely make me see you as my friend.. This reason is why Blackface matter tire me

I mostly used past tense in my illustration bcoz I have stopped it not bcoz of anything but my work.
Such good stuff shouldn't be affecting your work nah... what happened?

magicminister:
I didn’t read the whole article but I feel like a woman in public office should not speak like this. It reeks of shallow mindedness because a woman that is unmarried or widowed can also go far without any man behind her and women can succeed in whatever they set their mind to!!

Please, read her full speech. The title just singled out the part that massages the masculine ego.

She made a lot of sense. In fact, she presented the act of respect as a means of managing the man's inferiority complex.
Celebrities › Re: Copyright: I Will Deal With Lil Kesh - Eleyele by etrange: 4:50pm On Mar 31, 2019
Lol... No one will support her because she's a woman. They'll call her names, ask her to face her dying career or go and get married.

But if it were a guy accusing a lady of intellectual property theft, you'll hear things like "nawa for all these slay queens! Even simple lyrics they can't write without men".

It's a man's world after all.
