Greetings from Ekene to all mama's in the house keeping this thread alive....I appreciate your job well done. This is for mamas in the house using Chicco products! I need help in confirming or allaying my fears ! I finished my first container of Chicco powder. DH just bought the second one though not from the same person we bought the first one. But on careful examination of the 2containers I noticed there are some differences and am wondering why! I have a feeling one is fake and the other original. ....
Please check your own powder containers and confirm which of these descriptions written on the labelling I am about to write here is same for yours too.....

1. Cont. A begins with GB Talcum powder while cont. B begins with I Telco

2. Cont.A has the following translations also TR talk pudrasi, RU Tanbk while B has its own wriiten as E Talco, P Talco, GR Tank .

3. Cont. A has the made in Italy writing written only in English whereas the one in Cont.B is written in 3 other
languages.

Please check your own containers please. ...what did you notice?

Help a mama.....someone cannot be spending money on fake items biko in this recession!

One woman even told her husband that na their town name dem give their pickin. Am like for real when my husband turn Hebrew....buahjajajaja

Evacroft sorry e hear, ur ear go soon full. I silenced one like that when she was trying to have an opinion about my child's name, i just said Nathan is not an English name, it's Hebrew and it means God's gift because he's my rainbow baby, she doesn't chat with me so much anymore.




In other news, I went for anc yesterday and I got on a bike for the first time in a long time, hmmmm come and see drama to come down o. Na so my leg hook and I was telling the guy to bend the bike, bend, bend until one leg touched the floor then he held my purse while I used my hands to carry the second leg down. I won't try it again.


Any aba based mamas here or everyone is in Lagos, Abuja or ph?

I for one has encountered alot of ppl like that especially in this lagos that they will make you feel like this new generation mum can't takia of there babies.

I was taking a walk one eveing n using carrier to carry my baby,a woman called me n says "sisi mi bawo ni" i answered.she was like if your mother carried you like this your legs won't be straight the way it is.i just told her thank you and walk away.
That is how at 4 month mil was talking how my baby cant sit unaided and this is d same baby that started walking at 9 month.

Secondly i don't give room to anyone to form an opinion about how i care for my baby

Evacroft, doh. Pay her no mind. I bet if you had named your babe one of those typical naija abstract noun names like praise, glory and miracle, she'd have been fine with it.

Speaking of names sef, I think there are more cute boy names than there are girls'. Haven't been able to settle readily, for any my eyes have fallen upon so far. I'll be on the lookout here too. Lemme c if there's anybody's I can steal.

- Your pikin never start to sit down?
- Wear him cap 24/7
- Stop eating fried rice and salad when you are breastfeeding
- Don't waste your time to work on your tummy. Wait till you drop the last baby before you form sisi.
- Stop expressing your milk in bottle. Pour it inside cup and feed him with spoon now
- What happened to wrapper? Why are you using baby carrier?

@evacroft no vex u hear.wen I was going on bed rest one asked if its cos of ordinary pregnancy am going on bed rest.I no even answer her.When I resumed she said it's so painful that I stressed myself n still didn't cm wit a baby. Na there she see my red eye na.she no dey near me again na.she is also TTC BT won't learn to control her mouth. always having opinion abt peoples affairs.

That was a frnd was asking me on naming day, d name we given my son, and I told her I dnt know yet dt it's d prophet carrying him dt will say d name, and she started talk. I just ignore her. Am a celestial and dt is part of our doctrine, I wonder why d questioning. Even me wey be mama Sef, n.a. so dey name me.

There was a time I had those, I even made a post about it here. I was scared at first that baby was having a seizure or in distress (God forbid) but i consulted Dr Google and found out it's completely normal.

My dear,u just spoke my mind o,i tried d trekking tin 2day ehn,i nova still get myself o,d heaviness down dia is sumtin else,2 walk even within d house is a challenge,saw my gynae 2day,complained ,he did a scan,baby's head just balance untop my VJ,na style i dey take waka now,make baby no fall commot.Never heard of d cake,if u find out about it,pls let us no.Thanx .
