joshingjosh:Only NA accepts SSC. |
GeneralFarouq:DSSC is usually for professional courses. |
barineh:You can finish university first, serve in the NYSC, then apply for Short Service Commission or DSSC depending on your profession. |

GeoSilYe:Nope, for the sample test, you don't need to log in with any details. It would have brought out 10 questions immediately you clicked on the email link. The sample test is not going to have any effect on the grading of the tests. Since you weren't able to practice it, just focus on the real test tomorrow. |
GeoSilYe:There is nothing special about the sample test, it is not even a reflection of the real tests,so you haven't missed much. I think what the sample test is meant for is learning time management. It is not going to be scored or considered, it is simply for your own perusal. |
I hear you Nelsizzy, anyway, edited. |
brian750: Your thievery knows no bound. See the way he is smooth talking and sweet mouthing gullible victims. |
It's basically a mixture of current affairs, mathematics, English and logic questions. Out of the 60, you may have like 10 or more (or less) mathematical questions, depending on your luck. But English and general questions are more prominent. The general questions requires logic. The Xfire test isn't really something you can wholly prepare for because it covers a wide range of topics from different subjects, and it relies heavily on logic and critical reasoning. You can't really see the kind of questions you will meet in the test in a textbook or past questions somewhere. You have to be a critical reasoner before you can even hope to be one of the winners. It's an aptitude test. As for the mathematics, it's usually either word problems or complex arithmetic. So if you are proficient in mathematics, it's a bonus for you. |
Both of them are birds of a feather, bereft of ideas. |
komekn:It's public knowledge, and something the military always complains about. There are people within the local communities who usually inform BH about military movements, usually those people are family or associates of BH members, sometimes they are BH members who embed themselves into the populace. People of that area have very complex motivations. |
Seems there is a hidden conspiracy by Togo to sponsor militias in Nigeria ![]() How can 34000 cartridges be packaged, crated and sent out of Togo without the government approving it?, the Togolese secret service must be setting up a ploy to take over Nigeria! ![]() https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2019/01/13/ogun-police-seize-34000-cartridges-arrest-three-suspects/?amp |
Algerian1:Interesting, and here I was thinking Algeria is all desert. |
Algerian1:I didn't know snow falls in Algeria. |
Odunayaw: ![]() |
bidex111:The shading even trended on BBC Africa last two years. Something about it being the ugliest flag in the world. |
Sizzorkay:Truly beautiful. And some people said the Nigerian flag is ugly ![]() |
bidex111:Nigeria awakens |
prolog2:Nothing, but they seem to want to help. So if they want to help, then that is what they should do. |
HORRORIZON:Maybe I am part of the problem, but are you part of the solution?. All I see you doing is complaining. I may be wrong, but it's a conviction I hold. Nigeria's problem is not financial corruption, but poverty and mismanagement. Nigeria is very poor, we can barely scrounge together a budget of $28bln per annum, and recently, we can't meet up with that amount even with heavy loans, we have been having huge deficits. Almost $28bln disappear from the US every year through back door deals, bribes and lobbying. The F-35 project is mired in so much controversy, that it has become a classified case, almost $1trln. More than $20bln is looted from China every year, Saudi Arabia is run like the personal enterprise of the Royal family. Yet, these countries don't even feel the impact.,why?,because they are rich. If Nigeria has an annual budget of $150bln,you won't be complaining of corruption as much as you are doing now, despite the fact that politicians are still stealing. If we spend all our $28bln chicken change, without stealing any kobo, I tell you that we won't still achieve much. We are simply too big for such meagre financial resources. What is making people clamour so much is the mismanagement of funds, even the little we have is being mis-spent, and then the brazen lack of responsibility by our politicians. That is the problem. I don't know how anybody dreams of separating corruption from democracy. It's impossible. |
GeneralFarouq:Corruption in Nigeria is exaggerated, what will their N2bln do in the current realities. Maybe buy foodstuff for IDP camps, but other than that, nothing. If the Chinese want to help, they should give us a credit line for military hardwares. |
Seandisputed:and how does it affect you? |
Petersamuel8:This animal is even carrying a bible on his profile pix. How ironic. |
Nigerians are sick. Someone was killed, and the only thing I am seeing is ignorant people trolling and hurling insults at the victim. How backwards can things get?. Anyway, RIP to the sweet boy, I don't know him but it's the right thing to do. Why waste someone so pretty? ![]() |
Xbee007:No. They did last year September though. |
Geronimoe:I think Owen has a point, though he usually comes off as annoying and repetitive. A military is as good as its government and this government has failed to put the necessary elements in place to guarantee victory in this war. The army itself is not helping its PR by always telling lies. There is no politics in saying the truth as it is. Nobody here is a baby to be swayed by a few anti-government posts, so I don't think that is an issue. Though I get your point, repeating these stuffs like a mantra is tiring and only serves to derail the thread. |
What I notice is that the NA is always quick to deny reports. This has seriously affected public trust in them. I think the NA should own up more when such attacks happen, there isn't any need for lies, it will definitely be revealed. Better to admit the truth: "They attacked Damasak, and unfortunately overran the town due to information they must have acquired from insiders. We have noticed this unfortunate trend these past months, some unscrupulous elements and 5th columnists within the society are actively aiding and providing Intel to BH/ISWAP. However, concerted efforts are now in motion to reverse the attacks, and retake the town, we need the continuous support of the public to achieve victory. The NAF alpha jets and helicopters have been conducting robust strike actions against terrorist positions in the town. The NA wishes to reiterate that we are fully ready and equipped to secure Nigeria's territory and conduct our constitutional duties. Thank you". Full stop. The public are like sheep, they get easily swayed and once convinced, it is hard to persuade them. That is why being a politician is difficult. So the army should notch up the propaganda, not lies, but propaganda. |
Odunayaw:Yeah, seen it. Thanks. |
jakeporeshenko:Oh, I think it's one of the first videos posted here after the Baga attack, I never got around to watching it. Seems terrific, let me check it out. |
LTGEN:I will search for it. Thanks. |
