Apply to mawista.com if you are above 30 or apply to TK insurance if you are below 30

I tried applying for Mawista but at the top of the form it is stated that you can only apply if you have an address in Germany

Travel / Is The Nigeria - Benin Border Still Closed? by evergreen9: 6:36pm On May 20, 2020
I apologize if this has been asked before or if this answer is out there however I am a bit confused regarding recent developments I read some weeks ago that the border would be opening from the 20th or the 21st of May 2020, however it is unclear if the lock down has been extended or not, if it has been extended I would like to know if this has affected the operations at the border. I would appreciate if someone could help bring clarity to this situation.

Which bribe? You can’t bribe anybody in Germany. You must follow the rules no matter who you are. But there’s favoritism and “who you know”. Otherwise you can only beg your way through or do the right thing.

Do you have any idea what the lower saxony / Clausthal area of Germany is like?

I’ve never experienced racism in healthcare or from any doctor. I’ve always been treated the same way as the Caucasians. German doctors are generally grumpy and have a bad attitude. They are that way towards everyone. They actually had to introduce a platform for patients to report bad doctors. The doctors also speak German even if they understand English, but some are nice and would speak English to you if your German is bad.

It also depends on the city. If you live in a city where they don’t get many foreigners, they’re likely to be nasty towards immigrants. That is in every sector. It’s the same in other countries.

There would probably be racism, I won’t put it past them. But I never experienced it in healthcare in Germany and I’ve been in hospitals a lot.

Thanks for replying, do you have any idea what the lower saxony region is like in terms of standard of living, general perception of non-Germans etc, I intend to study in that region, Clausthal to be precise.

Oh they’re are worse and very rude. It also depends on who you meet. It is the way Berlin is in general. Poor customer service everywhere. It’s not easy. Just pray you meet a good person

what's the healthcare like in Germany? I remember seeing a video on the general German thread here on Nairaland, the video was about racism in the German healthcare. I would like to know if the Germans discriminate when it comes to administering health care to Africans or non-Caucasians residing in Germany.

Have we ever had it this bad? How can an administration be totally built on lies, intimidation and poorly scripted propaganda.

What kind of administration seeks to exploit its people in a time of dificulty such as this?

We have ex-nurtw, oluomo boys who have now turned into an organized mob of armed robbers invading streets and neighbourhoods in Lagos, the response of the current administration was to send their media groups on twitter, instagram and nairaland to discredit the eye witness reports of criminal activities as fake news!!

Now this issue which has been reported time and time again by Nigerians in London is now being tagged as fake news BECAUSE the truth is out and the NCDC and the FG have been exposed.

I weep for this filthy contraption called Nigeria
Governed by an elite class of illiterate, religious fanatics who have refused to join the developed world.

"Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves"

The verse says - Let EVERYONE! I repeat, let EVERYONE!!!

Fake pastors twisting the doctrine everyday. You are vessels of God you are NOT gods. As a matter of fact, I don't even think these so called men of God are vessels anymore!! Obey the rules and stay at home. 14 days without tithe no go kill una.

Hey house, I need some advise, what would be the best option for someone in their early 30's to travel to Belgium? I don't want to use agents as most of them are fraudsters, I can fund my trip and I have sufficient amount to show as proof of fund (if required), I know some people go as students but I can hardly speak French. I have an admission to study in a German uni for a while now (Blocked Account also funded) but lately things have proven terrible with the German embassy and their relationship with Nigeria / Nigerians, apparently there are no more interviews dates being given to Nigerians, so I am looking for other options now. My plan is to either travel and study in Belgium or travel to Belgium and then move to Germany from there. I need some advise house! all options would be welcome at this point. Thanks
Travel / Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by evergreen9: 1:38pm On Mar 26, 2020
mikeerrr:
Unfortunately you cannot relocate except you’ve got a job offer & they process your work visa.

That’s why most people go through the study route but sadly only 20% get to stay back. Rest end up coming back to Nigeria.

Study visa is not meant for immigration.
It’s strictly for study.

Then with your age & not knowing the language is another barrier. I know that some companies that don’t hire people above 30 (because they want fresh energy). Then your lack of foreign experience is another thing.

Your best option is just going to study and hope for the best. Only 1% get to stay back in France because their system don’t want immigrants.

Also anyone going to a country to study with the aim of staying back is taking a gamble. It can either work or not.

The whole purpose of studying abroad is for better education not to remain there. That’s why it’s hard to switch from study visa to PR. Except you’re heading to Canada , Australia etc

However, I do not blame them as well.
If you think about it from another perspective, you wouldn’t fault them. Imagine if Nigeria was like U.K. or all them countries, then people from chad or other these yeye countries are coming to take your jobs and benefit from your country. How would you feel? You will be like ogbeni o, Abeg all these people should go back. Same thing with Ghana must go.

So it makes sense as to why they don’t want people to stay back after studying. They have already rendered the service you paid for; Oya start going. It’s only if you’re an asset that they can reconsider. Who doesn’t want an asset? Unfortunately most immigrants are liabilities than assets. One man will carry his 5 kids in the name of dependents. They are studying for free. On top tax payers money.

You can get U.K. if you have the money & see if you can secure a job within that 2 years post study visa. You can try Canada too even though their strict with visas. US is no chance how.

You can apply to study in Germany from other countries but you will still follow the same blocked account process. I don’t know how much you have but by the time you move to other countries with expenses , tuition etc, I doubt you will still have enough for the blocked account requirement. You should rather apply to Canada or others that don’t require blocked funds & you have better chances of getting the PR.

Thanks for the detailed response. I appreciate how much time you took to properly explain it all indepth! So now, inregards to the study option, what would be the requirement and process for one to study in France? You seem well informed on this subject and I would really appreciate if you could offer some insight on the process of immigrating to France as a student.

Please at which level can one be advised to employ the services of German immigration lawyer

Are German immigration Lawyers only used in appeal cases only...

What about a visa delay of almost 5months and the embassy keeps saying they are awaiting the feedback from the Alien Authority... Can one use immigration Lawyer in a case like this ..??

I am almost in the same situation bro, also going to Clausthal. How do we connect?
