Hey guys, please does anyone know the requirements and how long it would take for one to get the 100L transcript from NOUN? I intend to use the 100L for something very important so it is imperative that I get this 100L transcript upon completion of the exams coming up. I would really appreciate if anyone here can offer some advise.

Student visa appointments

Please note that there are NO available student visa appointments for the winter semester 2019/2020 left. E-mail requests for appointments will NOT be answered any longer.

Only students with scholarships are still eligible for appointments. Please send an e-mail with the following details and attachment to the e-mail address student@lago.diplo.de:

Note: scholarships holders also entails research fellow applicants.

The application through email as stated above is very swift. Re-sent an email containing all the requested documents at 7:15am, got an AD for Monday next week at 10:27am this morning.

Where did you see this? Did the embassy send you this message?

Anyone planning to write IELTS, It’s now 73K with MOD IDP, it took effect on Oct 1st, 2019, it’s still 75K with BC. The major difference is in their remark fees, while MOD IDP charge about 46K for remark, BC charge 15K which is refundable should there be a change in any of the module. I trust your Sunday is going well, Enjoy the rest of your day.

Odedenshi1

is IELTS the only recognized or the preferred English proficiency test or are there others that the German uni's would also accept?

He who wants to stay in Nigeria should stay and he who wants to move to Germany for the chance of a better future should move.

Even inside Bible, when the land was experiencing famine, Jacob told his Children to go look for greener pastures in Egypt!

Dem no dey do patriotism for inside sinking ship. A word is enough for the wise.

Hi house @sassy92 Janettee, fieryy, Lovelygurl, and those who have registered on uniassist.

I would like to know what the difference is between
Straße and Adresszusatz ?

I saw this while I was registering for uniassist, Straße means street while Adresszusatz means address so I am confused here. My address comprises of my Street and apartment number so I really don't know how I would fill these fields up (Straße, Adresszusatz)

Studenkolleg requires B2 in German. And since you're already in NOUN just finish 100lvl and get your transcript. Ausbildung is like apprenticeship, I'm not really sure how it works but I think it's been discussed on this thread before.

is it possible to apply for admission and then submit your transcript later on? I am at the process of concluding my 100lvl at NOUN but I want to start applying for summer admission as I heard that NOUN takes ages to provide the transcript and I am worried that the summer admission application period might be over by the time I get the transcript from NOUN.

For anyone using coracle, If u get sense, you would communicate with coracle through their website only, DO NOT USE ANY OTHER METHOD OR INTERMEDIARY! DO NOT COMMUNICATE WITH ANYONE ELSE. I don talk my own.

Which of the university? There over 300 universities in Germany....If you know the university u should be able to find out on their website their required proof of English proficiency

Thanks, I have a long list of uni's ( about 12 of them) offering Bsc programs in English language, mostly in the Business / IT field of study. I would probably contact the Uni's as I want to have all necessary information before the application for summer admission begins.

I have a Studienkolleg + Language school admission for December 16 and I have booked for a date since August 14th but I am not really sure if the embassy has any plans of giving out AD for this year again! I am hoping they prove me wrong but right now I am pessimistic so I intend to use Bsc programme as my contingency plan.

Dear All,
It's been a while and I missed you all!!
Let me first start by saying that I apologise for all the negativity my actions caused on the thread last week. I'm deeply sorry.
As the admin rightly said, buying/sourcing for SL is illegal and a fraudulent act, one I've never engaged in. However, my post to @horladayour1 portrayed such. This would have created a platform for innocent people on this thread to be scammed by fraudsters. I believe this was what the admin was trying to avoid and that's why he banned me.
As moderator of this thread, @Justwise has worked tirelessly to prevent fraud of any kind here. His efforts should be commended. Thank you @Justwise for all that you do here. And thank you for reducing the ban. I can assure you that I won't repeat the mistake again.
I was touched by the number of people that spoke in my defense and the number of people who reached out to me privately. It really warmed my heart and restored my faith in humanity. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH. My prayer for you is that on the day you need help/defence/support/encouragement, may you find it in abundance in Jesus name.
This thread has become family to me. And no matter what happens, you never give up on family. So I'll always be here to offer help in any way I can. It's good to be back!!
I wish us all success in our various endeavours. Peace and Love, everyone.

Good write up, very eloquent as usual. Good to see you back here.

Hello Everyone,

I have been in Germany (Ingolstadt) for a week now and all I can say is every single struggle is worth it.

I’d like to advise on some issues;

Firstly when you’re selecting your course or study try to focus on the bigger cities. They’re usually easier to live in and more job opportunity plus most of them speak English.

I used Turkish airline and my experience with them was really bad. The plane didn’t arrive at MMA until after two hours of the departure time. Most of us missed our connecting flight and spent long hours at the Turkish Airport.

Try and come with some basic amenities like head warmer, gloves, winter jacket, money, bed sheet, extension, winter socks, winter boot etc. [Note: the Germans use type F electrical outlet, if possible get them before coming)

Try and secure you accommodation before coming, if not you might find it difficult.

If possible learn the language and start studying from Nigeria. Here they’re very precise and time cautious. The semester will start the day advised and lectures will start so try to arrive as soon as possible.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Nice one, bookmarked for future reference

The waka no easy, you just have to be strong! The wait can kill you bro, so just book an appointment and go on with your life, don't wait on it. If it comes in great, if it doesn't then have a back up plan, summer admission, etc.
