Quite an interesting read. In the end, it reveals that religion's power for terror lies in the people who decide to misunderstand it's tenets. I'll research more about those two groups. Stay Happy BluntBoy: |
No one prays to hear bad news, but should it happen one must always be prepared. Being prepared includes having readily available funds. This is where emergency funds come to play. An emergency fund is money you save to take care of unexpected occurrences. It is important to note that it is a fund you have to consciously save towards. Emergency funds can be used for Unplanned home repairs Sustenance during job loss Medical emergencies Usually any unplanned or unexpected occurrence. Do not use your emergency fund for expenses like house rent, travel expenses or buying a car. These expenses should be planned for aside. Also, your emergency fund should not be kept in any risky investments. It should be a money source that is readily available to you at any time without hassles. How Much Is An Ideal Emergency Fund? First, there is no one size fits all. You should save what you’re comfortable with towards building a buffer that is sufficient to sustain you. Experts advise that your emergency funds should be as much as 3 times your living expenses if single, and between 6–9 times if you have dependents. If you’re wondering what living expenses are, they are expenses that cover food, t-fare, accommodation, etc. We will talk more on this in a future post. Quick tips about saving towards your own emergency savings 1. You don’t have to start big; you can start small and save consistently towards your goal. 2. There is no one size fits all, save according to your lifestyle. 3. Save your money where you can have easy access to it without stress. One of such I heard of is Octa Octa allows you save consistently towards your goal, (an emergency fund in this case). You earn higher interests of between 11–13% p.a on your savings and you can withdraw from it any time at zero charges; no bank, ATM, SMS or maintenance charges Remember how we talked about saving comfortable sums towards your goals? Loads of Octa users save as small as N1000 daily towards theirs. Now imagine you doing the same … or even more? Sounds like the right thing to do isn’t? I think you all should start a savings goal right away with Octa |
Hello please provide evidence of Christian terrorism or a christian terrorist group you know of on earth. As for the previous killings in the days of the Crusaders, yeah it happened, infact unbelievers were killed in the early days of the law (law not faith) when basic Judaism was practiced pre-Christ. Since the advent of the Christian faith, except for zealous fanatic people who were called the crusaders. The Christian faith rest on love, faith and forgiveness. One key issue I keep finding out in the Hausa/Fulani islamic move is how they keep claiming they will 'never forget' and will 'revenge the blood shed'. This begs the question of forgiveness and peace being preached and pushed. Somebody is fooling somebody! We have a case where religion is being pushed above humanity. The northern agenda is a mix of religion, poverty and slavery/blindness to education. In the end, let us ask ourselves how Saudi Arabia, Dubai and thriving middle east countries have stayed afloat without war and terror while nations like Libya, Sudan, Somalia, Nigeria, Iraq and co seem not to have gotten it. THE PERSON remains the key issue - and those who yield to become terrorist are fueled by a religion that finds it easy and acceptable to dehumanize the next person. BluntBoy: |
Let's ask ourselves. Is Hisbah backed by law? Who is it defending and prosecuting. I strongly support Amotekun because if the centre has failed to protect - gong as far as not prosecuting kidnappers and deadly herdsmen then anyway the people can safeguard themselves is welcomed. https://dailypost.ng/2020/01/22/buhari-govt-asked-to-disband-hisbah-police-over-illegal-activities/ |

According to the Nigeria Electronic Fraud Forum’s (NeFF) recent report, it claimed that in 2018, over 17,000 Nigerians were defrauded electronically. This accounts for a 55% rise in fraud accidents from 2017. Surprisingly, 57% of the fraud victims were youths aged 20 to 39 years while Lagos led the pack in terms of locations where fraud were recorded. Others were Ibadan and Port Harcourt respectively. In it's blog, Page Financials, an online quick loans financial institution, we owe it to our customers and Nigerians to deliver excellent services inclusive of ensuring accounts are safe and secure. This is why the focus for today’s post is electronic fraud and how you can safeguard yourself. What is electronic fraud, how does it happen and how can you save yourself from being a victim of it? What is Electronic Fraud and How is it carried Out Electronic fraud is any attempt to steal, collect or store financial information such as transactions, documents, sign in details etc illegally through an electronic means. Electronic means covers internet, cards, apps, USSD, ATMs and the likes. In Nigeria, this is best perpetuated by yahoo boys but there is a rise of intelligent individuals who tactfully gain access to one’s financial details as the user unsuspectingly browses websites to make payments, uses an ATM, saves vital financial information like BVN, ATM pins, SMS alerts etc on his or her phone which can be used when the phone gets stolen or hacked. Another class of fraudsters are kidnappers who request payment through dubious means. The phenomena has seen an increase because of growing youth unemployment, growing use of internet banking, apps, USSD and the ease with which getting data due to poor security proofing on the part of financial service providers and customers themselves. How Not To Become a Victim of Electronic Fraud Becoming a victim of electronic fraud is easy and can be very unsuspecting. All that is needed is an internet enabled device or platform performing a transaction. To prevent yourself from being a victim, here are eighteen suggested steps you should keep in mind. 1. Never carry out a transaction on a site you don’t know or trust 2. Never give your financial details to anyone (not even your bankers) 3. Always ensure you are using the right app and an updated version too 4. Use apps that are safe 5. If in doubt contact your bank via its recognisabe channels 6. Contact your provider to block your account if you suspect anything 7. Don’t use an ATM in a lonely or unguarded alley 8. Review all transactions and monthly statements 9. Keep your cards safe 10. Don’t write down pins, codes, passwords or personal financial data 11. Use a strong antivirus/antispyware to protect your devices 12. Be extra careful when using wifi in public places 13. Look out for the padlock icon on the url bar of any site you have to make a payment in 14. Do not respond to emails requesting for sensitive details of your financial life 15. Be very careful of the apps, document and files you download online 16. When using the ATM ensure no one is looking over your shoulder 17. Do not provide direct help to strangers at the ATM point, get bank staff (ATM assistants or gatemen) to assist anyone needing help 18. Ensure you carry out transactions in bright places with functioning security cameras As a safety conscious financial organization, one of the security features we guarantee on our app include a two way security feature which you need to meet when making payments. Login pin and also provision of correct answer your chosen security question. This is so that any customer who needs a quick online loan from us is guaranteed of safety without fears of being defrauded. |
Someone asked a very important question in the post reply. DOES SHE BATHE HER SON? The same things flying round causing imbalances and morality these days also reaches women too and sons can be molested just about the same way daughters are. |
First, I'm not a nolly fan, talk less of using money to go watch a movie in cinema. But hey, friends and money was available and I wasn't to pay, so I went to see the film. Review Totally agree with the OP. Suspense: 2 major scenes. PLOT: bland, way super bland. That racing session was totally a goof. Racing on Nigerian roads even if Abuja. Then, by the stated of racing, what they did was crawling. It had no energy, no gear shifting, no .... just drive straight line and press brake and come out and kiss. Haba mana, we can conclude that there was no race only an 'e'. I think, they could have sweated the storyline more. Some scenes were just not it E.G where AY begins second round with madam and she immediately goes to orgasm (or whatever she tried acting. That was a naaaah) The shooting scene was clearly poorly done. Abeg, they should have left out showing us that X sigh (bullet popping from the gun part). Using sound alone would have done better. AY didn't deliver. Falz wins it for comedy. Ramsy and Jim Iyke were badass as expected. Didn't quite get what the other tech lady was doing sha. Ramsey's sister is fine but chubby. Her chubyness reduced 'sexuality'. Damilola Adegbite was bae. The movie wanted to feel Americanish (Ramsey's kiss scene, the race and the annoying dance part in the end). I just hope I'v mot successfully told you the film already. #MyTwoKoboReview |

On the 2nd of March 2018, staff and pupils of Minder’s Montessori school celebrated the World Book Day by visiting a nearby public school and gifting fellow pupils storybooks. World Book Day is an international day set aside by UNESCO to celebrate authors and reading. To commemorate this day, Minders pupils and staff visited Adeniyi Jones Nursery & Primary School and shared reading moments with the pupils and gifted them with story books and other educational materials. Speaking during the event, the School administrator at Minders School, Mrs Tumininu Akinduro, emphasized the need to encourage a healthy reading culture among children. She pointed out that reading was a big focus in Minders and it was only natural for them to extend the gesture to the neighboring public school. Minders Montessori school is located in Adeniyi Jones, Ikeja and Lekki. You can visit the school site via https://mindersschool.com.ng/

Hey fellow Nairalanders, fashion is not a small joke. Remember, it is how you dress that you are addressed. Fashion is not only about cloths, your writs watch is an intricate part of your fashion statement. Here are 3 common mistakes Nigerians make when it comes to wearing wrist watches. Bet you can recognise yourself from the list and make amendments. 1. Wearing Wrist watch on the left hand You should wear your wrist watch in the wrist that would least affect your movement. Most men choose the left hand to wear their wrist watch because it’s their less dominant hand. Wearing your wrist watch in your least dominant hand would ease your movement and help protect the watch as well, as it wouldn’t be that exposed to scratch. 2. Wearing bling images Wearing a diamond encrusted watch is fine if you’re a music mogul, but it has no place in the wardrobe of a well-dressed gentleman. Like an oversized watch, flashy diamonds and jewels are simply a cry for attention. They will distract from the rest of your outfit by drawing all the attention to one point. Most people will be wondering if it’s real, rather than what kind of watch it is. Diamonds and jewels also have the effect of making men’s watches appear more feminine. Hope you enjoyed reading this and found it useful for your brand building process. If you need more info, contact me on Whatsapp 09028872421 to get tips on dressing smart and right.

Hello my fellow property and home decor lovers, 2018 is here again and if you have not already changed the look of your home, well its not still late. Anyways, my gist today is to share with you some important essentials of home decor and what to think of before you start buying wallpaper or 3D boards. If you are ready to go along, here are three tips you will find useful for choosing a wallpaper and some 2018 wallpaper trends you that may grow in Nigeria. THE MOOD The desired mood for any choice you make is very important; it serves more like the goal or a direction for which you want to use the wallpaper. You have to know which wallpaper will fit into which space and why you want to add the wallpaper to that space. Beyond this, also ask yourself if it suits the space you want to fix it. You cannot place a wallpaper design meant for the kitchen in the living room or in the bedroom. For example, the living room is a social place in the house, this is where so many families spend time together. A good wallpaper design for the living room is a 3D wall panel or an like the Olina 3D wallpaper. You can buy genuine Olna 3D here. THE TEXTURE Texture plays an extremely important role in defining the type of material and what to look for when choosing a wallpaper for that room or space. Since the reason has been aligned, a choice will be made to what you want to use. It is crucial to recognize the role the texture plays in the interior. Using the wallpaper with grass cloth, sisal, cork or a mimic marble can create its own illusion. Other traditional prints could also be considered after deliberate check on it. ADVICE FROM PROFESSIONALS A professional hanger knows more and understands better in selecting patterns for the different spaces and how it should be used. Before you choose a wallpaper, always try to meet with a professional, share your area that depicts which mood will set for the space, the texture you want and the other rooms you want to place the wallpaper. If you meet with such minds, the person will help measure and calculate the precise space and cut to use. Don’t act like a genius because you are creative, be ready to meet with professionals. You will not regret if you call a professional to help out. It is not a big deal if you check out what you have chosen after discussing with the professional. You will see so many samples but be ready to ask for more, don’t accept everything they bring to your table. And if you decide not to choose any of the wallpaper, you can always draw out a sample that will even spell your own designs. You can decide to use the DIY method or call Wao Wallpaper a popular wallpaper and 3D board dealer in Lagos [/url/ that I once used to help in installing the wallpaper.
